Very good food. Try different plates and go in groups. Thai soup, chicken lollipops and chow meins are delicious.

I been eating here for years now. The food is okay. The staff is okay. The atmosphere is okay. Nothing much I can say about it. Most of my Bangladeshi family likes the food here and it’s different compared to the food you get in traditional Bangladeshi places. It’s a good place to have lunch or dinner. Not that pricy and the place is very family friendly.

Sesame shrimp, pretty good. Lollipop chicken, yum. American Express, didn’t get to use it because they don’t accept American Express.

Yummy food with a different take on Chinese. I love the crisp fish and sagar sizzling fish. Their fried rices are good too!

Extremely overpriced. There are other Indian Chinese restaurants around that neighborhood now that has better quality food for cheaper price. Last time I ordered a chicken Tom yum soup, all I got was soup and chunk of ginger.

Foods are delicious and cheap. Lolipop chicken what I go there for; It’s The BeSt! Service could be little better that’s why I gave 4 stars.

I love eating out here all the time. There lollipop chicken is amazing and quite satisfying, their masala fried rice and sesame chicken is delicious as well. There was a lady that was by the front desk she was really rude, I can’t recall her name but thank god I don’t see her anymore. I totally recommend this place if you want halal Chinese and they renovated this place, so it’s quite bigger now.

Terrible service… good food(except for half cooked lollipop chicken) Went there with my parents around 2:35 and asked for the lunch special. They said the lunch special was over. So when ordering from the menu, I pointed out that the lunch special was until 3, he responded«ahh ok» and looked disappointed. Then when he brought the food, he said«u guys should make it fast»…wow. The restaurant was completely empty and he was trying to rush me out. He was very rude. So in the middle of my meal I ordered lollipop chicken(not a lunch special) since it was good, and he was like«really? You don’t want it to go?» I was like no, I want it for here. It came half cooked. The waiter really wanted us out of there for some reason.

The Masala fried rice was bland it wasn’t even spicy. The sagar fried rice tasted like plain egg rice. We ended up waiting 30 minutes for our card to be swiped apparently the machine broke. The service was slow and the server was impolite and the English was inappropriate.

Checked this place out on Unilocal, then browsed through their website – claims to be the«best» Desi halal Chinese restaurant in NYC. Well, if this is the best then I don’t know what to expect from now on… We ordered a chicken wonton appetizer, spicy beef w red chili sauce, general tso’s chicken, and a mixed manchurian fried rice. All the sauces in the food came out runny, the chicken literally tastes like a giant shrimp ball, and the rice had no flavor. The chicken also tasted like a poor attempt to mask the soy sauce flavor which was obviously used as a base. Everything came out cold or at room temperature. It was flavorless. A major disappointment for a thanksgiving family outing. Save your time n money n go to Kabab King, which is what we ended up doing. Unfortunately as much as I wanted to support this business, it failed to live up to the standards it advertised.

This place is hit or miss. Maybe depending on who is cooking the food. We went on a Sunday afternoon and started with the lollipop chicken. Usually they are hot, crispy and delicious. Today, not so much. They were obviously prepared previously and the kept warm in an oven or something. No longer crispy, they were mealy and disgusting. The crispy chili fish and some beef dish we ordered were equally disappointing. Service is always lackluster here. Food quality is unpredictable. It’s a shame because if they could be consistent with the food, they would have become one of my regular joints.

Very bad service. Made us wait for so long even when they had empty tables available. Small and very noisy. Terrible food

I love this concept. I also love that they have outdoor seating, a summer favorite amenity of mine. I’ve never had halal Chinese fusion and was kind of excited when my date suggested it as I love Chinese food and Indian food. I ordered the Masala chicken which came with basmati rice. I very much enjoyed my food even though it was a tad too spicy for me. I actually added honey to my leftovers to lesson the spice kick. It worked! What I was less than pleased with, however, was the service. For such a small seating area I was annoyed that my server was kind of mia. But even when we made a request to our server he mixed it up in some way. I will say that other employees did stop by to check in with us. My next visit I’ll probably just order to go.

One of the best places to have halal Chinese food! One of the best and popular item on the menu is the chicken lollipop. The chicken corn soup is really delicious as well. The chow mein, and chicken chill onion are really good as well. The mango lassie and piña colada are tasty as well. The decorating is nice. I like the pink wall thing in the back. Service is really good. The waiters are fast with the order and etc. The outside seating area is good as well. The lunch special deals are amazing on which are on weekdays before 4 I believe. The location is nice to shop and go eat. Do I recommend this restaurant? Yes I do.

This is our go to spot when we are craving decent Indian Chinese food close by. The food is good and the price is very reasonable. Although at times we do prefer they cook the lollipop chicken through and takeout the fat from it because at times it’s amazing and other times it’s just plain disgusting.

This place is super excellent, but you gotta be prepared to wait because even at 10pm on a Sunday night, they have insane lines and we waited for almost an hour to get a table. BUT the service is very friendly, and the food is great. As others have mentioned, the lollipop chicken is awesome. And I also highly recommend the mango lassis(served with whipped cream), manchurian chow mien with vegetables, and manchurian tiger prawn. The Sagar fried rice was a bit on the ho hum side — we should have probably gotten the manchurian fried rice b/c we got lucky with all the other manchurian dishes. However, all in all, it was a delicious meal and we all left stuffed and happy.

Their lollipop chicken/sauce is the only thing worth getting from here. It’s pretty awesome and that’s the only reason I gave it 2 stars. The rest of the food I’m not really a fan of. There are much better halal fusion options only a few minutes drive away.
