Save your appetite, you’ll want it for the fresh made pizza & cannoli’s! Italy meets Long Island wine country in this little Tuscan gem. Cheese or olives included with your wine tasting at this adults-only vineyard(huge bonus for the lack of screaming kids and picnicking families). Music on the weekends and they’re open late Friday’s & Saturday’s in the summer & fall.

After touring a bunch of vineyards this was unfortunately the worst. The wines were not very good and horribly overpriced.

By far our favorite on the north fork wine tour. Just 5 wines and they’re good but not amazing. But most people visit the vineyard for good wine and the experience. The service, setting and accompanying food made this our favorite. The crackers were awesome and the we’re very generous with t he cheese. The TRE wine was also quite good.

This place is off the beaten track, one of the best kept secrets at the north fork of Long Island. I highly recommend their pizza and TRE(their own blended red).

We came on a Sunday afternoon around 2:30/3pm and found the outdoor patio and deck comfortably full. I would recommend calling ahead for a reservation if you are a larger party just so you are able to have a spot outside listening to the live music of the day. If you are lucky, the owner even takes the mic for some of his personal Italian favorites. This will definitely make for a more enjoyable experience overall as inside is nothing to write home about. You can casually stroll through the vineyard and enter the ever so romantic gazebo should you choose. We ordered a couple of bottles of wine which were both good. The Sauvignon Blanc that we had was a bit more on the sweet side but good and we also tried the 2013TRE(red) which was good. It is nice that the vineyard offers something other than olives, crackers and cheese like the others and their pizza is a nice touch. The simply made with mozzarella, fresh tomato and basil has a nice crunch to it but was overall enjoyable. Other than the above average prices for food, there were no real complaints about the food here. The service was a bit slow, but who is in a real rush when they are outside on the patio enjoying a pizza and some wine? Buon appetito.

This is a fantastic winery! The interior mimics a street in Italy. The wines are good, my favorite is the Tre. The staff are very friendly, and the owner is great! I think that the owner works even harder than the rest of the staff, which to me shows that he really cares. I love relaxing at this winery and I enjoy the great atmosphere. The winery has an adults only policy and I think that every winery should have this policy. Last but not least, the pizza is excellent. I’m pretty sure that this is the only winery serving fresh pizza pies.

I was so excited to go to dilberto winery, the ambience was great loved the italian feel of the wine tasting room and the outside area. The pizza was great and the canolis. The only thing that was dissapointing was there was no music. Their site stated there was to be jazz music. But when i asked i was told it was later. I would recommend to call about the music if that is something you look for at the winery. Othwise it was a nice place i will go back soon. I will have a backup location for music if there is no music at this winery. Btw keep in mind they do not allow chikdren,. This is adults only.

What a great spot this is! We came across this winery with a Groupon, and could not be happier! We celebrated my sisters birthday with multiple pizza’s and glasses of rose– The staff was so friendly, atmosphere was beautiful, & the pizza was beyond fresh. Will definitely be back here with friends!

I have absolutely no idea how this winery has ANY negative reviews! My husband and I have been here a few times in recent years and have always been very pleased.(Let me just mention that we have been to every single winery on both the north and south forks of Long Island over the past 8 years; we continually choose to return to Diliberto). As soon as you step inside, you are transported to Italy, both with the sounds of the music and sights of beautifully painted wall scenes. The pizza is always freshly made and delicious. I am not a fan of dry wines but I did enjoy their Sauvignon Blanc. My husband always likes their Tre blended wine. Another thing that I really appreciate about this winery is that the owner is always involved, preparing plates, serving guests, and even singing!(He has a magnificent voice!). He works very hard and takes such pride in his winery. Can’t wait to return!

Diliberto, my little romantic get away off the beaten path. I love this winery and I love coming here on a perfect summer day, grabbing one of their freshly made margherita pies, a bottle of their Sauvignon Blanc and go relax on the grass out back. Pure Heaven! Live music can be heard here regularly on the weekends as well. The inside is a nice alternative to go when the weather is not great. It is romantically decorated like a small Italian chalet somewhere in Tuscany. They do have table service inside where you can order flights of wine, cheese, marinated olives, or pizza. Oh and the pizza is crazy delicious, made from all fresh local ingredients. On one of my visits, the hospitable owner of the vineyard was making homemade mozzarella cheese which he allowed us to sample. Sometimes the finer things in life can be so simple. Diliberto’s wines are comparable to most other vineyards in the area. I prefer their whites to red. IMO, red wines produced on Long Island all share gamey, earthy notes which I am not fond of, and tend to be overwhelmingly over priced for what it is. Their Sauvignon Blanc is decent. I will always hold a fondness for Diliberto’s as I’ve made some special memories here with friends and loved ones. Diliberto’s is also dog friendly, which is always a plus in my book! They offer pretty decent Groupon specials throughout the year so look out for those.

What can I say about this place to accurately describe how great it is? Well it is GREAT! That’s a start, but it does not do it justice. We have been here many times and always a fantastic experience! They usually have a groupon and i always buy it! Their pizza is incredible, you couldn’t find fresher ingredients in Italy! He actually makes the mozzarella in the dining room! We got some about 30 seconds after it was made! Soo good!!! As I am not a huge fan of Long Island wines(im sorry) especially the reds, the sav blanc is very refreshing! The atmosphere is very comforting, piano player was awesome! If you head out east, check this place out!

Skip it. Lousy, unhappy vibe. Lots of flustered staff frantically milling about yet service never comes. All patrons must wait to be seated. The hostess had a very difficult and long time seating us even though there was an entire porch full of vacant tables. The wine?: drinkable. The atmosphere?: regrettable.

More like DICKbertos!!! This was genuinely the worst vineyard experience I have ever had. Can I actually tell you how horrible it was? We had to ask for water 4 times and when we finally got a response he threw the pitcher in my hands and told me to «fill up».That was only the icing on the cake. We ordered pizzas and they ended up cancelling our order. The staff never thought to check on the table numbers to make sure we were satisfied. There were only three tables!!! After TWO hours, we finally got pizza and it tasted like flour. All of us are full and finally ready to leave, we are mounting bicycles and an elder couple(who must own the winery) ran out accusing us of DEBAUCHERY. Has ANYONE ever told them that the customer is always right?!! I don’t know… call me old school. I just want to warn you about our experience before you decide to have your own.

Wine tastes like vinegar. We tried Cab and Chardonnay — awful!!! Plus there is no actual tasting, staff doesn’t say a word about their wine, they just serve you and leave.

Very nice vineyard. there’s indoor seating, patio seating and seating on the lawn. We didn’t have the food since we already ate but it smelled amazing especially the pizza. The only problem, and main reason I wouldn’t go back, is the staff. They didn’t seem too knowledgable on what they were serving and had to be prompted to explain what wine was in my glass. Other staff was too busy drinking wine behind the counter and enjoying themselves. I don’t mind the staff enjoying themselves but when they’re having fun service gets left behind.

This winery is alright– its very small. I had a groupon for a pizza and a tasting– we sampled 3 wines– 2 reds and 1 white– the wine was decent but not great– the pizza tasted like cardboard. Its a nice small intimate place but I have been to better wineries–

Ok… so, we came here for a day at a winery with wine tastings and some pizza. The pizza was great but the wine was horrible. The weather was so/so and we weren’t able to experience the scenery like we would have wanted. We came for the wine but it was so bad. I definitely won’t be coming back.

Diliberto Winery is off the beaten path, in the terms that is not on one of the two major roads. It sort of goes unnoticed while others just won’t bother coming here because it’s a bit secluded. Additionally, they only allow adults, ages 21+, so kids are frowned upon. If you do make your way here, there is a back house with a tasting area. The tasting area is very small with standing room and only fitting 4 people. There are plenty of tables to sit down and eat at though, and you may find yourself sitting down after smelling the aromas of the pizza baking in the oven. But if you prefer to sit outside, as the majority do, there are several tables behind the house with a musician playing. The general clientele seem to like to drink a bottle of wine, eat something, and listen to the music. It’s very calm and serene, and a place where you’d come to relax. You kind of realize why they don’t want kids here, as it’s more of a place to get away from all the tourists and larger parties. To end all that, the wine is pretty good, and we found ourselves buying a bottle of their 2010 Sauvignon Blanc.
