The pizza here is average. Wait times can be long. I caught the chef boiling the meatballs for my meatball sub, probably frozen. I got kind of turned off and have not been back since. My sense is that most of the food is frozen and reheated.

We order out pizza and calzones from Ace’s often. The food is always good with fresh ingredients and ready for pickup in quick order. I recommend to anyone looking for quality pizzas for a good price.

Fresh ingredients makes for a great sandwich. Had a bacon cheeseburger on wheat grinder bread and it was fantastic. Wife had the bacon turkey with wheat grinder bread and it was also as good. Plenty of parking and interior seating which is a plus being on the Island. Pizza or a Calzone next. yum yum !!

My family and I were going to Beavertail and looked for a pizza place with good reviews. Honestly, I’m surprised this place got good reviews to begin with. We ordered a large cheese and pepperoni pizza and a small cheese pizza. It took us an hour to realize we were never going to get our food. Everyone behind us in line and people who came in after us and ate in all got served before we did. When we finally asked the owner where our food was she said, «well I have an hour long wait.» That would have been fine if someone had told us that when we ordered, we would have gone somewhere else. They took every phone order that came in after we ordered our takeout and did not start on our food until we complained. We ended up ordering more food as we were now starving and it was going to take longer anyway. A gentleman came in to pick up a phone order(which was ordered after us but they still got their food before us) and the guy told the owner that his family had been waiting so long for their order that his family went to House of Pizza. The owner replied, «well its not my fault that I have a good product» which is obviously not an appropriate or professional thing to say to a disgruntled customer. The owner proceeded to complain to one of the other workers about the customer after he left and she was loud enough for other customers to hear. We finally got our to go order and began eating. I barely wanted to eat anymore because I watched one of the young workers putting sauce and cheese on the pizza without any gloves on and touching all different orders and not stopping to wash her hands for the entire time we were there. This is not only disgusting but also a health code violation from cross contamination. The pizzas barely had any sauce, were under cooked and overly greasy. The only good thing was the french fries which is the only reason why I would give them anything above 1 star. I will never go back to this restaurant and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Tried this place for the first time last weekend, have to say it wasn’t to bad. I ordered a chicken parm grinder, and my partner ordered the angus burger. My grinder was good, needed a little more cheese(I’m a cheese junkie lol) and the fries were awesome. My partner said his burger was really good. The place was clean and the staff was friendly, the only real downside was it was 90 outside and they had the doors open and the AC off :(. I will go back, just on a cooler day

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. I stopped in for a quick bite recently and was pleasantly surprised. I had a small cheese pizza and sweet potato fries, both excellent. The pizza was baked perfectly with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The staff was very friendly and aimed to please .I would definitely visit again.

I’ve tried here a few times now. I would give it 2.5 out of 5 stars. The food is not bad but a bit on the bland side. Nothing POPS with flavor I’ve had so far. My last experience I called in an order. all I got was a «Hello» on the other end. I said“ummm is this Ace’s?” they said«yeah» I said«ummm can I place an order?» another«yeah». Nice business etiquette there guy. Their wings are heavily breaded drowning in Tabasco sauce. I like their pizza crust but man, they rake you over the coals on toppings. It was an additional $ 8 for 3 full toppings and 2 ½ toppings(they offer even more expensive«specialty toppings for $ 2.50 each. like ham or extra cheese, thank god we did’t choose any of those) making it a $ 21.0014“pizza. Not a good value for a bland tasting pizza. Maybe the personality of the guy who answered the phone spread to our pizza… dull.

If there were a way to give this place 10 stars I would. I’m pretty picky. I don’t just eat pizza from anywhere. Their crust is made fresh daily… and you can taste the difference. They provide delicious, high quality ingredients that is all fresh! They make your pizza in front of you… so you know you are getting the very best. The subs are amazing and great value! My dad is addicted to the meatball sub… seriously. He sneaks out of the house when we are all making lunch and gets himself a meatball sub. it is classic. ;) Here is where I knew this place deserved all 10 stars… we asked them to deliver a very large amount of pizzas to a wedding after the wedding was over(around 11pm) so the guests would have something to munch on before they went out to the bar. Ace’s KILLEDIT! They provided hot delicious food for 150 people. How can I not love this place. Good food, good people… GREATSERVICE! Honestly. this is where you go to get pizza in Jamestown.

We loved it(5 of us). Crust awesome and the pizza was not brimming with cheese but had just the right amount. Highly recommend ! I saw other joints and they were in the heart of the parking madness. Parking and pickup easy here! Also next door is a market for all the extras you might need for your meal!

Away from the crowds this little shop has that ‘I’m on vacation’ vibe with screen doors and a couple of café tables out front. The menu is pizza, calzones, sandwiches a few apps and sides. We had a cheese pizza which was OK, and tuna sub was very nice. Super busy — lots of people calling in for take out. The dining area is small, order at the counter and they bring it out. Staff are very nice although very busy. The big flat screen TV was showing Sports Center. I’ll be back to try other items on the menu and I’ll call ahead.

Local pizza in Jamestown located conveniently next to a local supermarket. OK pizza with a thicket crust than I am used to. Would come back in a pinch.

I ordered a pie for delivery and they were nice enough on the phone. My order was pretty complicated but they got it right. I’m from NYC so when I saw large, I expected a large, not the small we got, but it was tasty. Great prices and I’ll other from them again.

Seems like good low-key local place around the corner from the tourist restaurants. Decent pizza, had a very good meatball sub, nice people. Will go again next time I am in Jamestown.

Ace’s Pizza is really yummy. The cheese, which is mozzarella,(not cheddar) is gooey and the crust is everything a pizza crust should be– some crunch and a bit chewy. I am happy to have access to such authentic, good pizza– and it’s right here in Jamestown!

I ordered 2 pizza’s over the phone, when I picked them up the order was wrong. The manager came over and told me he took the order and told me I was wrong and that was what I ordered. I told him not to argue with a customer and he keeper telling me that was what I order. I walked out and will never go back

I always had very good service. Once they were swamped, though, and it took 40 minutes, but they told me that at the time I ordered so I wasn’t upset. Good, but not great, pizza. In my opinion, better than the other Jamestown alternative, House of Pizza, but I know people who think the reverse.

Either some of the reviewers came at a bad time or things have changed recently. I moved to Jamestown from NJ earlier this year and it’s hard to find good pizza. So I’m delighted to have found Ace ‘s. Very solid pie and good sandwiches too. Not quite NJ but not bad at all very friendly staff too.

I’m surprised at the other reviews for Aces. We eat there and pick up orders quite often. We love their pizza and their salads are very good and a good value too. During peak season at dinner time they can be busy, but shouldn’t that tell you people like their food. Don’t let the other reviewers sway you. Try it for yourself, it’s good.
