I really wanted to like this place. It’s a quaint mom and pop type restaurant. The employees were warm and friendly. They were almost full when we arrived and it took awhile to get menus, drinks and chips which was fine. They were working hard. The reason I’m giving 2 stars and why I wouldn’t come back, is the food. I ordered the 2 chile relleno combo meal. When it arrived, I started to cut one pepper open and water gushed out of the chile. I took a bite and the temperature was cool. So I touched it and it was indeed cool. I cut the pepper open all the way and the cheese in the center was a cold block. I pulled the cheese out and used a spoon to remove the water from my plate. I knew the breading was just a rag soaking up all the water so I pulled that off as well, pressed my fork on the top and watched the water just ooze out. My lunch consisted of rice, which was actually hot, and the pepper. I used my

We stopped here on our way back to Sac from Yosemite. I’m Mexican and I can tell you this place is legit. Totally authentic and AMAZING! My husband and I can’t stop talking about it the rest of the way home. The staff was polite, amazing food, and plentiful portions. We are already planning a trip back with friends, and stopping here is a must!

First time here just passing through and thought I would stop. I had the tamale and chille relleno. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. The staff was also very warm and welcoming. I will definitely try this place again if I’m ever in the area again.

Stopped in here for lunch the other day. Excellent food, cute atmosphere, very wonderful servers. The only downside would be the lack of seating available, which made the single diner like myself feel a little awkward by taking up a table for two. Overall however, you can’t go wrong by CC for great mexican at a reasonable price.

Die hard Mexican food critic here! First off for the guy that got hard shell tacos go to Taco Bell! Who gets hard shell tacos at a authentic Mexican restaurant? Really! Anyway I gave this place five stars because I was feigning Mexican food and how many times have you been man I’m feigning a certain something and even when you go to your traditional place it just didn’t do it. Well I was expecting mediocre and when I was half way through my meal I leaned back rubbed my belly and said now that’s exactly what I was looking for. At that same time my son had finished his plate which is rare and I better not disturb the wife because she was in a place of euphoria and wasn’t about to ruin her moment. I know it’s just food but thank you CC2! Be back soon!

Had a late dinner here. Place: Small & simple. Service: Quick, our server was very nice. Food: Free Nachos were yummy. So soft & fresh. We ordered burrito, enchilada, nachos. All were good. Price: Very cheap. Highlight is their combo deals. 2 burritos and 1 enchiladas for under 12 !! Tasty food with great service for little money. Can’t ask for more.

this was a stop on the way home from snowboarding. i had a hankering for some mexican food, a taqueria, and found this right on the freeway. its family-run, i think, and very welcoming and comfortable. lots of locals coming in as well. the food is good, and perfect for a quick fix after snow sports. rice and beans are definitely on point, as were the tacos al pastor(what my niece had ordered). i had the torta de carne asada which was pretty big and super filling. although its not fast — like a taqueria — the sit down was a welcome to hangout and get to know the place and the local peeps. the menu is more trendy/americanized, than a traditional mexican place, but thats fine. it suits and fits the area you are in. i’d definitely stop here again when in the area.

Been here a few times, usually very good food. But tonight I feel needs a Unilocal review– phone ordered 5 meals. Mine was fish tacos– they promptly called back to let us know they were out of fish. No biggie. So I ordered the shrimp tacos.(Like the last time I went there had the garlic shrimp so good) the lady on the phone asked me if I’d like rice and beans with that, yes please. So I was very disappointed when I got my food home, on a bed of cheesy oniony salad laid about 7 breaded shrimp. Which was right next to the pile of white rice and pees. I thought this was a Mexican restaurant? Not your local pub and grub. Maybe a lack of understanding or communication was the issue, either way it’s something to consider. Let down and sorely disappointed

When I got in there I knew it was bad mexican food… «Hard shell tacos» like taco bell… Yes, like taco bell. It was packed of white people, no Mexicans, that means no authentic mexican food. Bland flavor, everything taste like just came out of the can, avoid this place, now I’m in my hotel room and regretting the waste of money and mostly my beautiful hungry. Close this restaurant.

Do yourself a favor and stop here. You’re welcome. The chimichanga with carnitas is awesome. The salsa has just the right heat and the chips are fresh.

We were driving for hours and we were starving! We found this place because everyone said it was amazing. I was starving so the food did taste really good, but since I was starving garbage would’ve tasted good. But as I started to get more full, the taste started to become more real to me. The Mexican food was nothing to shout about and it was pretty flavorless. Rice and beans were pretty good though. And we didn’t get our order taken for quite some time because we were forgotten about. However, given the choices in the area, you wouldn’t be making a bad choice stopping here.

Good food. The salsa is really good, perfect spicyness. It’s a simple simple restaurant. Last night we had Morellia’s Mexican food. The rice here is a bit more tasty. I had the tampecana de res and my husband had the carne asada. We’d eat here again

We have good friends here in Jamestown who we visit once a year, and we usually get to CC Taqueria each time. We come for breakfast and I get the chilequilas, one of their specialties. SOGOOD! Our waitress, Christine K., was excellent! The place is not too big, so either go early, or be prepared to wait a bit. We will go again and again!

Excellent Mexican food. I’ve tried almost everything but my fav is a diablo shrimp burrito. I crave their shrimp diablo. They were even nice enough to tell me how to make it myself! Nice wait staff, place is a bit worn and nothing special to look at. I wouldn’t plan an anniversary dinner here as it’s not that kind of place, but the food is great!

this mexican eatery was better than the only other one in Jamestown. it’s a little more divey, but the food had better flavor. the free salsa was spicy hot. the fish tacos came with 2 large fillets of tilapia and a side of the requisite beans and rice. service was super friendly. the house margarita though was not good at all. it appears as though they have excellent breakfast options as well.

This is our go to spot for breakfast burritos before a day of climbing at Jailhouse. Usually I get a machaca breakfast burrito and add in hash browns. mmmm, sooo good. Service is great and the prices are reasonable.

Open 7:30am-9pm. Pass by CC Taqueria on Victoria Way as they have limited hours(and is inside a gas station rest stop).
