I’m so sorry to hear about Danielle’s experience(see review 11÷1÷14). I, however, remain a fan and a loyal customer. No, Danielle, I am not related to the owner, and I have no stake in the business or anything of the sort. I’ve sent several friends there and they’ve been very pleased. I’m still impressed by Nick’s talent, and find the shop relaxing and mellow. It’s not crowded because he’s usually the only stylist and does not overbook.

I’m so upset over my experience here that I’m taking the time to write an actual review from an actual client and not let you be mislead by previous posts from years ago who are most likely family of his and not paying customers. So I read the reviews posted and thought, wow id like to come here, so I made an appt wth the owner/stylist Nick for the following day. I was excited to get my shoulder length hair cut to a cute pixie. I did my research and found a handful of pics of the cut I wanted. I tried to explain to him and show him the pics of the cut I liked. He brushed me off and told me he knew exactly what I wanted. I trusted him based on the comments I’ve read and truly thought, he is a professional, owns a salon and knows what to do. I watched him start to cut ALL my hair off and made a comment about how I wanted to wear it, he gave me an attitude and told me to let him do it bcse in the end, it would look like my vision and pictures. Well that never happened. He butchered my hair into a cut that is so horrendous and uneven that I’m so completely upset and honestly embarrassed to leave my house. When he was done, I expressed nicely(even though I was holding back tears) that I didn’t like it, and even thanked him for cutting it. I tried to fix it by styling it myself and he yelled at me that he didn’t want to spend the time to cut it bcse it took to long, the salon was empty except one woman sitting with color on her hair, so it wasn’t like I was preventing him from other clients. It had not even been an hr I was in the salon and most of the time I spent there was in the shampoo chair. Long story short, Nick didn’t take the time to do a proper consult or care about what haircut I wanted. He was nasty, ignorant and moody since the first second we spoke. As a stylist, he should’ve been sensitive to the fact I was making a drastic change and he should’ve taken the time to get it right. The cut I’m left wth now is so butchered and uneven and badly cut that I don’t even have enough hair to go to a REAL salon to get it fixed by a REAL professional who actually cares about their clients. And the way this man acted like a child throwing a temper tantrum when I said i didn’t like what he had done, I was actually embarrassed at the way he reacted, I’m glad he didn’t have clients in to witness it. It’s probably the same reason that it was empty on a Friday afternoon. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, not only did this man ruin my hair and condemn me to hats for the next year, he also had no business or personal ethics with the way he treated me. Take your hair and business to a place that actually cares about their clients, I wish I would of.

Absolutely love this salon. Nick has cut my hair twice and did an extensive color correction, he is incredibly talented and very patient! I will be coming back here for a long time, and bringing all of my friends. Salon comes highly recommended, my hair looks fantastic.
