My parents, my husband, and I came here on Father’s Day hoping for a nice meal as a family. Unfortunately, that’s not what happened! We haven’t been back to this Outback in a while, because the last time, the service was terrible. But, we wanted to give it another shot. We didn’t have to wait long(hooray!) but when we were seated, our server came over and started complaining about how long of a day he had. Not a great first impression… OK dude, many of us have worked in the restaurant industry and have had long days, but rule #1 is not to complain about that to the customer. I digress… We put in our orders, and my mom ordered a drink. We ordered a bloomin onion for the table. Thankfully, the appetizer didn’t take long to come — it was the only good thing about the meal. My mom’s drink was extremely watered down(she’s a lightweight, so for her to say that, it must have been bad!). Our server never came back to offer us more bread… which is one of my favorite things at Outback! Sigh. 45 minutes later, we were wondering where our food was. A manager came over and apologized for the wait… our server was MIA. We said that it was fine and that we understood. He offered us 15% off. All of the tables around us had been served about 20 minutes prior, even though they were seated after us. 20 minutes later, our food finally came. It was cold. My dad’s steak was rock solid and it was apparent that it had been sitting out for some time. My husband’s food was lukewarm, and my mom and I ordered salads with shrimp… and the shrimp wasn’t hot. We had to send it back to be reheated. We NEVER send food back, so it was really bad :( Our server rushed out to talk about how it wasn’t his fault and deflected the blame to the kitchen. Again… not the right thing to say to the customer, especially when the food was cold and he hadn’t shown his face the entire time. The manager came back out and personally brought our entrees back. He was genuinely apologetic, we again said that we understood. His professionalism was the only redeeming factor the entire evening. I hated the salad. It was bland and not worth the hefty price tag. By the end of the meal, we had been there for over two hours. This was disappointing because it was quite late and we had hoped to spend some quality time with my parents at their house afterwards to celebrate the day, but that didn’t happen. Since this wasn’t the first time that Outback’s service(and food) have been a total joke, I will never come back. I’m not going to sit for two hours at an Outback… seriously. You can get a far better steak and a far better meal pretty much anywhere else.

I live in Jamison and my family has been going to Outback for years. Unfortunately in the last couple of years the quality of food has drastically changed. The food is cold, lacks flavor, and the portions are rediculously small. We keep thinking it will get better but hasn’t. You lost our business.

Food was good, well priced the Wallaby Darned mixed drink is excellent for any peach lovers, they also took an expired coupon for a free app

We usually go to the Montgomery location, which is great, but decided on the Jamison location because it was a little closer to our home. This location, however, just gives Outback a bad name. 4 of the 5 of our meals we not good, and I don’t mean by our tastebuds standards, I mean they were just plain bad. When I bit into my Mahi Mahi it tasted like an old watery piece of bland fish that was frozen then boiled. My sons steak was straight up sour, like a piece of steak frozen too long in a ziplock bag, and half my mothers steak was inedible due to large tendons all throughout. The owner did remove her steak from the bill and she also was very nice. We did not complain about the other food, just ate what we could handle, then pushed it aside and moved on. If I go back to Outback, I will drive the extra distance to the Montgomery location. Don’t waste your time or money on this location.

My parents were in town and we decided to go to Outback for dinner. We got to the restaurant by 4 pm to avoid a wait. As our waitress was clearing away appetizer plates to bring dinner she dropped an entire bowl of ranch dressing on my coat. The staff swarmed around to clean up the mess and the owner, Helen, came to apologize and offered a number of free things as a goodwill gesture. I declined but appreciated the offer. Shortly after our meals came and 6 of the 7 dinners were perfect. The 7th… mine…was well done instead of medium. Both the waitress and Helen seemed mortified and couldn’t apologize enough. When the bill came they took off my meal without us having to ask. They also brought chocolate covered strawberries for all of us. Our dinners, including mine once it was fixed, were great. They made the best of a rocky encounter and I appreciated their concern and customer service.

The bad reviews are true. Was originally told 25 minute wait. Then it turned into 45 minutes. When we told them we were told a 25 minute wait, they were like, Well it’s 45 minutes now. Watched several families leave. Then we started to notice others that came in after us were getting seated, went to the hostess area and found out they never put us into the wait system. So the device that they gave us to let us know when our table would be ready was basically useless. Asked to see the manager. At first they just wanted to seat us right away. After waiting for about 15 minutes for the manager to show up, she wanted to know what could be done to make it right. At this point we said nothing and we left. The problem is there is no adult supervision. Even the manager was a kid. Don’t waste your time going here. Our total wait time was 1 hour and 10 minutes. This place is the worst.

I went there for dinner and I was very pleased with everything. The atmosphere. The service and the food was very very good. We had pork porterhouse and the sirloin steak. Cesar salads were good and the coconut shrimp was really good. So unless we get extremely sick tonight. And I doubt I give this outback a big thumbs up!

What good is call ahead seating? I was told call ahead seating would be 30 – 35 minutes after we arrived. Well an hour later and we’re still waiting. All we’re getting are excuses. What a disappointment. Won’t be spending our money here. Thanks for the bad service Outback — Jamison

Used the new click thru seating. Arrived ten minutes ahead of the scheduled time. TOTALLYUSELESS. Arrived to find we would still have a half hour wait. All it appears to be is marketing ploy to get your personal information. So now we stand here in a restaurant that twenty minutes ago had no wait according to their website, waiting with two young kids and no place to sit or stand out of the way waiting for a table that has no shorter wait than others waling in the door behind us. Worthless. After we were seated and ordered, I was told the special I oredered(prime rib and lobster tail) was no longer being offered and would be $ 5 additional. Waitress could not offer any explanantion as to what changed between the time I ordered and when she came back to inform us. Not Happy at all with this visit. Got the New England clam chowder as my choice for the other side. It would jave been excellent if it didn’t have so much pepper in it. Also got the cheese fries appetizer but there wasn’t enough bacon on it.

We don’t typically eat at Outback as we prefer another steakhouse. But we received a giftcard so we figured we’d use it up. We ended up ordering some«takeaway» since we didn’t feel like eating out. We ordered some burgers, chicken finger platter and some quesadillas. I don’t expect a lot from Outback but it was a mess when I opened the containers. The burgers where just thrown onto some fries. The chicken fingers were also thrown onto some fries that were way over salted. And the quesadillas were over cooked to the point they were more black than tortilla colored. It was gross. In the future if we get another card, we’ll travel to a Carrabba’s.

The two stars are for the server. She was great. The food is another story. The last few times we’ve been to this Outback, the quality of the food has gotten increasingly worse. On this last visit I had the Outback Special with scampi-style shrimp. My husband had a cheeseburger. None of it was palatable. We used to enjoy going to this location fairly often. I doubt we’ll be visiting again. It honestly felt like a total waste of money.

Really clean restaurant with a staff that cares. Above average for a chain restaurant. Dishes are always expertly plated and you can tell they care about the customer here. It’s always mobbed!

Haven’t been in here in many years but decided to try it again. Not a very good meal the bloomin onion was blooming terrible the steak was very poor quality, very tough and seemed like it had been boiled, there wasnt a single girl mark on the steak. There were a lot of flies landing in the food, better to just avoid this place. The kids mac and cheese was pretty good.

Came for late dinner 9 pm on Saturday night. Got seated quickly. Waiter did not know contents of chopped salad, so I had Caesar. Small salad, very generous side of anchovies which I requested. My ribs and chicken combo was skimpy. 3 ribs were tasty, chicken breast way overcooked. Aussie fries soggy and not too hot. Given the long wait, was probably sitting to be picked up. My wide had steak salad which she had enjoyed in past. Steak undercooked and tasteless. Side of mashed potatoes sent back because not too hot, second try no better. Would have to be desperate to come back.

We normally don’t like chain restaurants but we had a gift card and this place was really good! Service, food, atmosphere, it was all good. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely go back.

Definitely love this place! The food is awesome. Definitely get the bloomin onion! The servers are always fun and energetic(And if you’re a guy, well let’s say you’ll enjoy the waitresses :) Also, the manager is really cool. The one time I had an issue, they solved it right away!

The reason I gave this place 5 star instead of 4 is because of their effort to make ‘my wish comes true’… My whole family decided to visit this Outback because we haven’t been here in a while. I ordered a medium-rare primerib. The waitress came back 10 minutes later and said they ran out of ‘medium rare’ cut. Not to play hardball or anything, I simply said that in that case I don’t want anything else. She came back 5 minutes later and ‘mysteriously’ said ’ we found you a medium rare cut for me! Nonetheless, I appreciated the effort.

Service is so important in today’s world and the service i got at this outback… was terrible. Our server would disappear for lengths of time and our food was constantly late. The food was good, as usual but the service… eck…terrible.
