Subway

Food is great, but I have problem when I am ordering my food and the person I am ordering my food from has a really bad attitude. Every time a customer comes in his attitude got worse and worse. He was slamming the doors to the bread in an aggressive manner and was being a jerk to his coworker. I don’t appreciate someone that doesn’t like there job and shows it but someone who can’t put their own personal problems aside to show nice customer service. I believe his name started with a Z.

I have to admit I have a very good submarine sandwich at this particular Subway. I ordered the Black Forest Ham, Turkey, and Avocado on Whole Wheat which also happened to be the sandwich of the day. I made it a combo and decided to try Lay’s new Wavy Truffle Fries chips with an iced tea to wash it all down.
I was very pleased that they did not hold back on loading up the ham and turkey at this location. I usually encounter a single layer of each meat at other Subways, but here they provided two layers of each. Given so, I was able to really taste the cold cuts, including the provolone cheese. The tomatoes, onions, spinach, and green peppers I added to the sandwich were all fresh and crisp. I added oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper which is always good on these sandwiches. I am not a big fan of mayo so I went for the deli mustard which was pretty good.
The whole wheat bread was moist and held up well to the all the ingredients that filled the sandwich. The Lay’s Truffles Fries were good and their saltiness contributed well to the sandwich as I went back and forth between the two.
Service at this location was pretty up beat. The young man behind the counter who took my order was patient as I took my time decided what to order. More importantly, the young lady who made my sandwich did a great job making it. I say, keep that young lady on the payroll!

It’s subway, great subs for 5 dollars. There are not many choices in thus part of Jamul, this us a great option. Store has free WiFi. Friendly servers.
