I always come here on Wednesdays for $ 1 oysters. They’re delicious! The waitresses are always nice but not as attentive. The wings are huge and good. I like the bbq flavor. They’re the largest wings I’ve seen! The only downside is that they don’t have a variety of selection that I’d like to choose from. But the food from what I’ve had so far is good except for the chicken pot pie. I expected to taste as good as it looks but it’s mediocre. Love coming here for wings though!

I came for Happy Hour which meant $ 1 off all drinks and beers. Also they had $ 4.99 food items for this time. I had an order of hot wings, which was 4 whole wings in an order for $ 4.99. They were good and served on huge wooden boards, which was too big for our high top table. It got pretty packed in here by 6pm. The waitress/bartender seemed overwhelmed and at times she was hard to find because she had so many customers. Their draft list is pretty creative and extensive. Overall experience: Just Okay. I probably should have tried their REAL food items other than wings. I just can’t justify spending $ 7.25 for a 6% IPA in Jenkintown. The other bars in the area are a lot cheaper so I wasn’t expecting that.

I came here with the Tall Man to meet a couple friends for a drink after Thanksgiving. This ended up being a great place. There was a lively crowd, but we were able to get a table easily in a quieter corner. They have a good selection of beers on tap and bottled, with an emphasis on the British variety. They even had one from a Scottish brewery, Brewdog, that the Tall Man and I had discovered on our honeymoon and were delighted to find here. We didn’t order food but the menu had interesting sounding British fare, which I’m really looking forward to trying out next time. One of our friends did ordered the fried Snickers bar for dessert, though, which was surprisingly tasty but maybe good for a one time taste(that’s just me). As for service, some others complained but I found our server very friendly and eager to give suggestions when we asked.

When this place opened it was really good. Food good. Servers couldn’t do enough. Now I have to echo reviewer below. Servers are either dishonest or give lip service.

There’s a really nice selection of beers on tap from around the world. They do a good job on mixed drinks too. The food is good, especially for pub food. I enjoy the French Onion Soup, which I’m picky about. One question I have about this place is why the male servers don’t have to wear the traditional kilts… particularly since the female servers do.

Great beer selection. Food is good. Love that I can catch soccer there. Can get a bit crowded on Fri/Sat nights, but even despite looking like it’s completely mobbed at times, I’ve never waited more than a few minutes for a table — most of my visits, no wait at all even when busy.

This is me and hubby’s favorite place to eat for dinner. They have a great selection of beer and the food is good. Get the dirty chips if you can– they are a fav. We always opt to eat outside weather permitting cause the TVs can get annoying. The staff is friendly and prompt but I do wish they would change uniforms. Everything does not have to be tight and low to get good reviews. It’s a cheap way to get more people to like your restaurant. Like a comedian making easy jokes for a cheap laugh. It might earn him something but the quality of the act is lessened.

Loved this place! Great atmosphere. Food was good and our waitress/bartender Chelsea was very friendly and attentive. I had the Texas Toast brisket sandwich, and it was so flavorful! The mashed potatoes on the side were instant, though. How strange! As an app, we had«Dirty Fries.» I would choose this as the appetizer before my last meal on Earth. The fries with cheddar cheese, crumbled bleu cheese and sausage were that tasty.

I don’t really hang out here. It’s a bit tight and I always have my daughter with me but I get take out often. The food is great. A British type gastro pub. And the beer selection is great.

Check your bank statements! I was charged twice on two different days for the same bill! I have been here a few times and enjoyed it but I will definitely not be returning!

I discovered Kings Corner in May 2013, and became a fan. What’s not to like? The food is good, especially the hamburger and the Salmon BLT sandwich. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgable. The best part is the beer selection. There used to be ten brews on tap with a mix of domestic micros and good imports, and they always seem to have Belhaven! Now there are twenty taps, and a bottle section of close to 100.

Nice relaxing place. Indoor n outdoor(weather permitting) dwelling. 20 beers on tap plus additional. Burgers n wings are great. Specials about every night. Great place to meet up with friends and neighbors. Servers/bar tenders are so nice and remember your preferences.

It’s safe to say that King’s Corner has cured me of my PTLFCD(Post traumatic London Fish & Chip disorder). If you know anything, and I mean anything about England, you know that the fish and chips is a staple dish in British culture — as it should be. After returning from vacation in London I can confidently say that King’s Corner is as authentic as it gets, from the food to the presentation to the pub’s décor and vibe. Nestled in the heart of Jenkintown, King’s Corner’s menu has something for everyone. We started off with ‘Cheese Tray’ which included three British cheeses, a honeycomb and cherry chutney, as well as three varieties of biscuits. The cheeses were excellent and were paired perfectly with the spreads and biscuits. As the beginning of my review hints, I opted for the ‘King’s Fish and Chips’(King size), which included three pieces of battered white fish and homemade chips. The three others that joined me at King’s Corner had an order of Fish and Chips, Fish Croquettes and the Crispy Fried Chicken. On top of the delicious food, we also received great service. The pub itself resembled that of a pub you would come across in England, with the bar being the central focus of the restaurant. Along with seating around the bar, King’s Corner also has spots to sit away from the bar, as well as a cozy outside patio, which was perfect for a summer night. Our dinner was somewhat nostalgic, having just returned from London a few weeks ago, and I would certainly argue that King’s Corner is about as authentic as you can find outside of England. I highly recommend giving it a try, 5 stars.

#kingscorner is one of the best bars in the area. Located in a quiet neighborhood and has a very inviting atmosphere. The food and beer at this place are always exceeding expectation.

King’s Corner is a slightly off-the-beaten path jewel in Jenkintown, and we never would have had the pleasure if our dear friend Billy had not directed us there. King’s Corner is housed in a beautiful stone edifice that reminds one of a Downton Abbey-esque pub. Surprisingly, it is situated in a residential neighborhood(although it is within short walking distance of West Avenue’s commercial area). After crossing the threshold, one first lays eyes on the massive rectangular bar that consumes virtually all of the front room of the building. High-top tables are sprinkled around the bar’s perimeter. Meanwhile, the bustling dining room is located a rear room with a tin ceiling. King’s Corner offers a well-edited selection of pub-style food. The King’s fish and chips included three pieces of extremely fresh, mild white fish that were enrobed in a whisper of batter. The batter was airy, crispy and not at all greasy, and the dish compares favorably with the fish and chips at Dandelion. The chips were a thing of beauty: Handcut with bits of skin remaining, dusted with herbs and course salt and served piping hot. Easily among the best this Unilocaler has ever consumed on this side of the pond. And do try them with Malt vinegar. Delish. Mr. M wordlessly gobbled his shepherd’s pie, which he proclaimed«excellent» after the last morsel had disappeared from his plate. And he capped off his dinner with chips – instead of dessert – having been seduced by mine. A kilt-wearing, fresh-faced sprite was our server, and the service was spectacular! At this price-point, we did not expect to receive such attentive and efficient service. The overall experience made us feel like the Crawleys visiting town, and we cannot wait to return to King’s Crossing.

The very first thing I noticed about Kings Corner was the awkward set up. When you walk in, there’s a GIGANTIC bar right in front of you. You have to walk around this monstrosity to get to the dining area, where the majority of the seating is if you’re there to eat. The next thing I noticed about Kings Corner is that everything on their menu is fried, except for the salads(and who orders salad?!). Normally I wouldn’t complain about this, but – no joke – the day before I came here I told my boyfriend that I wanted to cut down on fried foods. So much for that! Anyways, I had the shrimp and chips, and really can’t complain about them at all. You can order the entrée in «king,» «queen,» or «jester» size, but I don’t really have any idea what the difference between them is. I had the queen size, which was 4 jumbo shrimp and basket of fries. I did really like how they were served. My meal came out on its own little cheese board, and the fries came out in their little frying basket, which was cute. I’ve slowly been acquiring a taste for Blood Mary’s, and thought I would try one here since it was a $ 3 special. However, I definitely got what I paid for. I think there was too much tomato juice and not enough of everything else. I hate paying $ 9 for a bloody in the city, but at least they’re top-notch. I should also mention that I tried my friend’s Victorian lemonade, and that was phenomenal. I desperately wish I had ordered that instead! Overall, Kings Corner is a very typical British pub. Lots of fried food, lots of seafood options, very little of anything else.

Decent food and nice place to catch the game. Love the new décor and renovation! Clean, loud and fun. Very successful revamp in my opinion and I haven’t had a bad experience with the food like some of the other reviews mentioned. However, I’ve made some safe food choices so maybe that is why? I Iove the drinks and the atmosphere. As far as parking goes, not really sure where to park when it gets full though. So far I have gotten lucky with the parking right in front, but when that gets full, then what???
