This is my husbands stomping grounds from back in the day. He raved about their wings and sadly I must say he’s right. The wings are really really good. Service was very friendly. This is a great neighborhood water hole with good food. Worth the stop!

My quest for great fish and chips brought me here on Saturday afternoon. Service was deadly slow but when the food came, it wasn’t worth it. The chips were round. ROUND!!! WHY??? The fish was bland. The cole slaw was a welcome distraction. There’s better fish and chips in Philadelphia. I would pass on this.

Food and drink have not changed any — competitively priced and good. Service has gone downhill. Two years ago there was a blonde bartender, on duty at least either Tuesday or Thursday. She was good, gave attention to both people seated, as well as at the bar. Lately, the service has stunk. All attention has been focused on the«barflies», and the people seated for a full meal can go to hell. Staff never comes over to ask how things are, or if there’s anything they can get customers. If I were rating this on service alone, it would get one star.

A great spot for cold beer and hot wings! Delicious, tasty wings, done just right.

I was a bit wary at this local hole in the wall but the wings are right on point: fried to a good textury crisp while still flavorful. It’s not a kid-friendly place but saw multiple patrons with children so knew the food had to be legit. Fries were a little undercooked but string beans were great with an awesome dipping sauce which made up for the slow service.

Delicious wings and great beer selection. Wish the place was bigger but I can’t complain

I really like Union Jacks! They have a really wonderful beer selection that is always changing. The food is pretty good as well — typical bar food, but tasty and consistent. They also now take credit cards, which is a huge plus! The parking lot is small and usually crowded, so get there early. I also wish they would update the bathroom — it could use a facelift! Overall, the flaws won’t keep me away. It’s a great local bar!

Best wings in the area, bar none. This is the place(at least in this area) that started the draft beer revolution! They had a rotating draft list of 18 – 20(maybe a few more) beers, before anyone else in the area. They post the draft list on Facebook pretty regularly, so you know what to expect. It’s best described as a dive bar meets English pub(I know there’s a lot of contradiction in that. Go see for yourself). The service can be outstanding or not so, depending on who’s working & how busy it is. The cheesesteaks are surprisingly good here too, but the wings seem to be king. On weekends you may have to wait for food to come out, but it will probably be worth it. Open until 2AM on weekends, but closing time varies during the week(usually stay open until 11PM /midnight, but I’ve seen a 10:30 closing). Was cash only with an onsite ATM, but started taking credit cards this summer(2015).

Great wings took my lady friend here the other day, she loves thai hot wings. we order 30 wings to eat there and some to take home, also added an order of fries, the fries came out under cooked and they gave us 25 wings 5 less than what we were charged the best thing was the beer we ordered. after asking for a check and paying for food we didn’t receive the waiter stops us as we’re leaving as if we’re dashing on the bill and said wait you only gave me the exact amount, how rude to insist we tip after you we were shorted wings and served fries limp and greasy

Want wings and beer? Go here!(Nice little rhyme to it, right?) I always heard about how great their wings are, and they definitely lived up to the hype. Meaty and flavorful are the first two things that come to mind. I love hot sauce and their’s is one of the best. Union Jacks is a small local bar but has a great atmosphere to go with friends for a couple of cold ones.

Wings are the best in town. They have a great beer selection and friendly staff. They also just recently accept credit cards now so that’s a huge plus.

Upon entering Union jacks for a quick tasty meal we were ingnored for about ten whole minutes. Upon finally being greeted I wanted to split wings with my husband 20 wings 10 hot and 10 thai sesame, we were told they no longer split flavors we would have to order two ten pieces separately and pay about $ 4 more if we wanted two different flavors. So I dropped the wings and decided to do a burger. On the menu it does not specify what burgers come with so when the waiter asked me if I would like chips or french fries, of course I wanted french fries and not generic bagged plain chips. French fries came out and was undercooked and burger came out and was overcooked. Not to mention I ordered medium rare and it came out well done! The waiter(JADE) explained they DONT cook medium rare because«there is a risk of serving you undercooked food and he made medium rare the way he thought fit, like he has cooked in many restaurants» well Jade, this isnt a restaurant it’s a bar! And one who doesn’t specialize in more than one thing that is deep fried. It’s ok they don’t understand that medium rare is just a notch above rare, just notify the customer and give me the option to order something else like the only thing they specialize in, wings. They took nothing off the check and also charged an extra $ 2 for french fries which was never explained. I will never return to union jacks nor reccomend them to anyone who expects their money to pay for good service and edible food.

Everybody was raving about Union Jack’s but I was wary at first… finally a few friends convinced me to tag along. I was blown away by the beer list and variety of liquor, not to mention the food is spectacular!!! I reccomend the Thai-Sesame or Southern Country wings, but Honey-Carib with a side of bleu cheese and hot sauce is my all around favorite! The crowd has always been super friendly and the service is spectacular. Not to mention the owner has been very personable every time I’ve visited. By far one of the best small-town pubs I have ever experienced!

The wings are the best and yes, in every flavor you get. English chips are delicious with malt vinegar. My family is really into beer and this place always has good selections to offer. The staff is great, especially Enadia. BTW they now accept credit cards.

Mmmm… The thai sesame wings were legit, and the Strongbow ciders were deliciously cold. I got a little carried away with the«Thai sesame» and ordered the Thai sesame salad as an entrée, but it was yum. Surprisingly good food for a bar atmosphere. I’m new to the area and I thought this was a pretty chill spot. I’ll definitely be going back! Can’t wait to try more wing flavors… Hubba hubba.

The wings are great beer list changes and you get good info on the alcohol content and can even sample the beer. Everyone is friendly. The«chubby» guy too even if he a Boston fan.

Majority of the reviews raved about the wings, and they’re amazing. The sauce and seasoning wasn’t overbearing, the wings are crisp and not slimy inside. The inside bar is kinda small so we sat on the outdoor patio, great for smokers. The drink and food is priced competitively. My only concern is the stairs leading from the patio to the parking lot. They don’t meet regulation and after a few drinks it could be a problem. Service was great, our waitress was outgoing and met all of our needs. I would have given this place five stars but the waitress charged me incorrectly. For a dive bar, I was impressed overall.

Yes, the wings here are amazing! Meaty, flavorful, and fried to a crisp! So many different flavors available too! Apparently, their hottest wings get very hot, but I didn’t opt for it. I did regular hot and I was able to handle it very well, so next time, I’ll up the heat level. I also did southern country, which is like a garlic butter, and it was not overly oily and super crispy. So good. What also shines here are the fries! Fresh cut fries! We got a large order and just killed it. Fried perfectly, just like their wings. They also have roughy 20 beers on tap, all quality beers! With a server that checked on us periodically, it was an overall good dining experience. I am definitely returning. The place isn’t huge, so I wish it could’ve been a bit bigger. And the parking lot is small as well, so be prepared to park a block away and walk if need be! Trust me, it’s worth it. And bring the green — this is a cash only establishment, but they do have an atm on premise for your convenience.

«Wow that is is damn good!» Is what you’re going to say when you eat the wings here. Unilocalers lead me in the right direction to try these wings, and I pass the same onto other Unilocalers. Try these wings. They were so good I had to place a 2nd order. First I tried the Southern Country wings and it was like being at a Kentucky picnic. It was so good I had to order 10 more. The 2nd round I tried the Bourbon Molasses wings. The smell demands your attention as it approaches. The taste is also good, but might not for everyone. Very sweet and unique flavor. I can’t wait to try the other flavors they have. Also, they have a great beer selections. They have REAL beer here and discerning taste buds won’t be disappointed. Sadly, most of the dudes here drink Miller Lite. Like my favorite Unilocaler says, «FOUR UnilocalS!». But make that a 4+ I might come back and give it 5 in the future, but will need to explore the menu just a little more before I give them the«best in area» honor.

Great place to get wings in the area. Many choices of sauce. Small little bar with lots of craft beers. A few tables. It’s hard to get around everyone when it’s busy but that’s okay. The handcut English chips are great. My favorite two wings I like to order are southern country and Thai hot. I tried the Cajun wings expecting more of a Cajun dry rub but it was just a shit ton of hot sauce topped with Cajun seasoning. Ended up being way too hot for me but someone else probably likes them.
