Mulberry St. Pizza

Mulberry street used to be me and my families to go spot when we where ordering pizza. Slowly it just became my to go spot because they could never get the pie right that my family ordered. The owners where always there when we ordered so i cant help but think that they just didn’t care enough to get our pie correct. I used to go in there to grab a slice but every time i was disappointed so i slowly stopped and changed to Fanatico down the block. If your gonna get pizza from here get a pie. Nothing else, slices taste like they have been sitting there for hours.

I can not say enough good things about Mulberry Street Pizza.
The food is very good and ownership is accommodating and seemed to care a lot about the customer needs while maintaining the integrity of their business.

Also the chicken Parmesan is very juicy.

They have the best garlic knots I have ever had, seriously.

Should you find yourself in Hicksville out on Long Island, run, don’t walk, to this little nondescript gem. It’s tucked away in the corner of a strip mall, across the road from a diner that no doubt attracts more traffic, but is dishing out some of the best Italian food I have ever tasted. Ever! That sounds very dramatic, so to tone it down some, how about I say at worst, it was in my top 3 of all time. Of my entire life! And I’ve been around a while and been to Italy 4 times, so let the gravity of that sink in.
I had garlic and olive oil pasta, my friends had shrimp fra diavolo, and fettuccine alfredo. I tasted theirs too and they were all exceptional. My co-​workers happened upon it a while back, which is how I eventually ended up there, and they revealed to me that they actually schedule meetings in this area several times a year just so they can go eat at Mulberry St. Pizza. That’s a big deal given that they work in Manhattan.

We have been eating here for seven years and now our office is moving to central Islip — how will we survive without Mulberry –by far our number one lunch venue– Great pizza and Caesar salad slice and a pasta fagoli is to die for – you’re treated like family by the owners who are great and Have always been very kind to us – dinner is great too and for lunch they have luncheon sized portions from their dinner menu – i’ll still come back for dinner and the pasta fagoli!

First time going, went on the suggestion of my girlfriend’s brother and his wife. Walked and in and was greeted right away. Good selection of pies to choose from. Had a slice of pepperoni and a pepperoni pin wheel. Great pizza and knots. The sauce is fantastic. Service is top notch

I love this place! The best grandma pizza, spaghetti bolognese and linguini white clam sauce dishes! The service is great and the owners are so friendly!

We got the pizza which was huge but tasted okay and was pricey at 23 bucks.
I am not sure why there are two businesses that show in Unilocal at the same address. Vinnie’s Mulberry St Pizza is the same as the Mulberry St Pizza. They are both listed at the same address.

I placed an order for delivery for lunch. The phone skills could be improved by being more welcoming, but my order was taken nonetheless, and pretty quickly. My wait time was estimated at 30 – 45 minutes. I waited an hour and twenty minutes. When I called an hour late to check on my food, they were very apologetic and blamed it on a traffic accident.
When my food came, it was piping hot, fresh, and delicious. The penne pasta with meat sauce costs $ 9.95 and could serve 2 – 3 coworkers easily. The mozzarella sticks as a side taste like freezer-​section generic brand.
Besides the long wait time and rubbery mozzarella sticks, their pasta is excellent. And if you split with friends, it’s quite the steal. I’ll order again from there, so four stars from me because their positives outweigh their negatives.

I love my pizza. The grandma slice was awesome. The sauce wasn’t overly sweet like most places make them. The crust was njce and crispy. We also tried the spinach slice which tasted great. The pinwheel was pretty good and so was the chicken roll. To
off the staff was so pleasant.

Everything I have eaten here so far has been absolutely delicious ! I would recommend this place to anyone !!!

My go to pizzeria for the past 10 years think that says enough. Great Staff, Great location, amazing Food.
Would recommend Sicilian, grandma or Regular everything hits the spot.
Décor could use a update tho.

We have always enjoyed the food hete. Very unique, well prepared dishes. The veal peppericini is outstanding
I also have had sausage, peppers and potato dish. Zeppole is a great touch. We highly recommend this place.

I can’t believe I have to even give it one star but Unilocal makes me give one. So be it.
Let’s start with what I ordered — ALMOST ABOUT 1 HOUR AGO. Sooooo I get one call about 30 minutes into my order say do you deliver this far? What you just took my order about 30 minutes ago and now you call me? Seriously. Just for the record and I know you will read this my reviews are legit that is why I am an elite member. Sooo then about 45 minutes into the order, I get another call? So we can’t seem to find you on the map, seriously what type of car doesn’t have navigation — i guess it’s the type of delivery person which is probably their family, that can’t navigate? Please have some common sense and have people who man the phones correct.
Please walk over to target which is located maybe a few steps from your joint and purchase a garmin, you might be able to navigate. Or even better since we all have smart phones download google maps (free) and listen to the navigation voice tell you how to drive your car.
Fast forward to call number 3? So we haven’t left yet and we can’t still find it… Can we cancel. Sure. and they rudely hang up. Real serious place.
Stay away from this place, even the inside is dirty and dirty. Health inspector where are you??? They need to invest in the rating system in LI like the city. these guys would be shut down!!!
Over priced for garbage.
