Wife and I stopped in to try it on a walk around the neighborhood. We really enjoyed our burgers — and both remarked that we’d be back. She had the«Ol’ Blue Eyes»(Bleu Cheese, Mushrooms, Shallots, and lettuce. I had the Shaq burger — double patty, cheddar, pancetta, shallots, lettuce and blackstrap BBQ sauce. We also split the truffle fries. Enjoyed every bite.

My favorite here has to be the Erie Street hands down! This is what keeps me coming back for me. The fries are eh. I believe you could opt to get regular fries with not truffle and that is what I will do the next time I go. Their seating for summer could get a little uncomfortable as they do not have AC indoors. It is a small place to sit indoors but luckily they have outdoor seating under a tree. Happy Eats!

Place is situated on a cool little corner across from an ice cream shop in Jersey City. The food is made to order and comes out in a relatively short period of time. I enjoyed the food but my only gripe is that the beef patty is thin, I would recommend ordering a double. I would come back again.

From opening to now, this place is falling into the mediocre category. The kitchen is super disorganized and completely inconsistent with their orders. They need to organize their kitchen and get back to simplicity. Do something right, and do it over and over again to stay consistent. Definitely surprised on how low their performance as a kitchen has stooped. Won’t be coming back here for a while.

I have to agree with everything Alysha P says. Let me be clear that expectations for speed are low – fully understand that this is not fast food. But there is nothing that can pardon such poorly trained line staff. There is literally no excuse for this type of establishment to run so poorly. Time and time again I go in and people who order waaay behind me get their orders before me. The line is disorganized and slow beyond belief. But the place has foot traffic and great location on its side so… you do the math. Let me be clear that if those were the only faults a good burger could make it all worthwhile. But the burgers fall dismally short of everything they promise to deliver. My last order was take out of pollo loco — I opened the box at home and there at the bottom was about an 1/8″(or more) slurry of water and b.e. sauce(in the time it took me to walk home(4 minutes) the bun was already saturated and surrounded by this lovely pool. Try draining the lettuce before you slap too much of it haphazardly on your burgers/sandwiches. Also for the prices you’re charging you can buy better buns than the ones you’re getting from either Sysco or BJ’s — on top of that the burgers are inexplicably bland. Way overpriced for the quality of food. Lastly hire some competent people for your kitchen. No excuse for any of the above.

Great Burger. Gourmet fresh meat, fresh local produce but having cheap off the shelf buns totally ruins it. If your going to be a high quality burger place with high prices for higher quality finish the job the right way . You claim to have healthier burgers, locally sourced produce which appeals to the clean living organic healthy crowd but then use the mass manufactured cheap and preservative filled buns, it make no sense and just doesn’t match what your trying to put out there. Make a deal with a local baker like many of the other burger places around here.

Decent flavor. Meat patties are kind of squashed to hell, but the veggie patty is where it’s at. Usually I get the«All Thai’d Up» with the too addicting truffle fries. Probably the best version of truffle fries I’ve had to date. Seating is a bit limited on the inside, but there is some outside seating too. Overall, it’s pretty decent.

Great burger spot in downtown Jersey City near the Grove Street Path. There is not much seating space inside but the establishment is very clean with a nice aesthetic. I got the«shack house” — double patty with cheese, crispy shallots, pancetta, and BBQ sauce. The meat was literally overfilling the Martin’s potato roll bun and was tender, flavorful with all ingredients complimenting each other very well. I have only reason why this isn’t a 5 star review– the burgers themselves are very small for than cost. The shack house set me back 11 $ and is really something you can take down in less than 10 bites. Wish the burgers themselves were a little larger but all in all a solid establishment with great burgers.

My mouth is truly watering just remembering how good my burger at Burger Eatery was. You walk in place your order pay and wait for your name to be called. Yes, it might take a little more than your average burger spot but they are worth that little wait. My name was called and my burger ready to be devoured! It was busy on Friday night so we decided to eat outside on their provided oversized bench. The rest is a delicious blur. All I remember is thinking why is this so good– now I’m going to be addicted!!! My boyfriend order the mahi mahi which was amazing as well. If burgers are your thing or not your thing check this place out. Food is delicious and the staff gets a high five they’re so friendly!

It’s no surprise a great burger in JC has been lacking. Without nearly the amount of Shake Shacks, Smash burgers and oft quickly expanded chain burger establishments, I am happy to report Burger Eatery is my new go to spot. Friendly employees, nice seating and even fresh flowers that adorn the tables. This place has some life to it, in addition to serious yummy burgers. Crispy smashed Pat Le Frieda beef patties are seriously addictive with the fresh juicy beefy flavor I crave when I want a burger. Toppings galore, from caramelized onion, blackstrap molasses BBQ sauce to fig tahini plus Gruyère and cheddar cheeses! These burgers taste good, plenty of flavor and moisture in the actual patty itself. Only thing this place is missing.. . BACON. Oh, and homemade fries — the ones they have here are frozen. Hoping and praying they are able to switch over to freshly prepared ones. All in all, solid burger place. Check it out if you are craving one.

Burgers are very good– whether you get a classic style burger or one of their specialties. Seating is limited. Burgers are about $ 7-$ 11 range. I thought the buns looked a little small for everything inside the burger, but they actually held up really well and surprisingly wasn’t very messy to eat — it ended up being a good burger to bun ratio. Staff was very friendly. 2 burgers took about 15 minutes to come out on a Friday night where there were two orders ahead of us. Boylan soda options are a nice addition. Nice new neighborhood spot.

We wanted to look for a new lunch spot in Jersey City and decided to go off the beaten path. The location is pretty strategic as it is located on a corner and has large inviting windows which is one of the reasons we walked in. Inside: There are maybe ten tall bar counter seats in here. It may be hard for younger children to sit and eat here. It also employs an open kitchen so be prepared to smell like your food after you’re done. Ingredients: I love the whole approach to the use of non-GMO meats. On the website it notes that the meats are sourced from Pat La Frieda. While eating, we saw a delivery drop off 16 pallets of Martin’s potato rolls and we assume that is the bread used for the buns. Food: One of the people in our party is vegetarian and we were happy to see that his Little India sandwich was cooked in a separate pan from the grill used to cook the meat patties. Some nearby places don’t do this. I ordered the Shaq burger and that BBQ sauce with the crispy shallots are the bomb. Both of us wished there was more lettuce accompanied with the burger though, or a crisper slice. It unfortunately felt a bit thin with the light toppings. The meat in my burger was delicious. Upon other Unilocaler’s recommendation we also ordered the truffle fries. We were definitely hit by the truffle aroma as we put those fries in our mouth and this is a must if you’re a truffle fan. After: The portion somehow felt light to all of us when we finished. None of us were completely full but we also still weren’t hungry. At least there’s an ice cream shop across the street to help out if you want dessert.

Stumbled across Burger Eatery while wandering around downtown JC, and in need of a bite. I was immediately intrigued by the menu — premium burger toppings and fries are my weaknesses. Chose the Erie Street burger, which came with caramelized onions, pancetta, Brie, fig jam and arugula — fantastic. But what was even better was the Pecorino truffle fries — so good!!! A must try! A downside is that the burgers take some time to prepare — but likely because they are made to order, so a little extra TLC is put into your meal. Small space with little seating — but worth checking out for sure!

The Burger Eatery is a small place to grab a quick burger. It’s a Shake Shack-like type setting, but double the prices. I tried the Erie Street(caramelized onions, pancetta, brie cheese, fig jam, arugula). The patty was good but I wasn’t a huge fan of the fig jam. It was one of the only toppings I could taste in the burger, aside from the arugula. I saw the onions and pancetta but I think the jam overpowered everything. I would like to try the All Thai’d Up burger but at the price for the small size, I don’t know if I could justify coming back here.

After hearing such great reviews about Burger Eatery, I was excited to check it out. I went last Saturday night around 9pm and it was empty. I ordered Ol’ Blue Eyes and my boyfriend ordered a Classic double with a side of BBQ sauce. We both split an order of Pecorino truffle fries. First off, his burger came as a single party when he ordered a double. We waited an additional 5 mins while the rest of our food was cooling to get this fixed. They didn’t bother remaking the order and don’t have warming lamps I’m assuming. The manager asked what was wrong and began to yell at the staff repeatedly in front of us. I’m not sure if that are his tactics to scold his employees to do better work or to make it seem to us as if he does his job. Either way it was unnecessary and loud since we were the only really ones in there. Then after taking a bite into my lukewarm burger, I realized they didn’t include the mushrooms and crispy shallots on it. At this point I was hungry and didn’t want them to take my burger for it to get even colder and just add it on. Both burgers were okay. The patty was definitely on the small side and didn’t fill out the bun. There was nothing exceptional about it. The BBQ sauce tasted like coffee and the thousand island was watery. Definitely not comparable to in-and-out as others talked about. The one thing I did enjoy was the fries. Generous with the cheese. Would I spent $ 8+ for this again just because it’s Pat LaFrieda meat? Probably not. It’s under seasoned and tiny. If this is the service and food on an empty night after being open for at least a month, I can’t imagine if it a line was formed.

I feel sad to write this review, but after four delivery orders, I have to talk about how bad the service at this place is — actually the delivery. They use a delivery service that picks up orders for this restaurant and others and then delivers them all at once. What this means is that you get consistently cold food that takes an hour or more to arrive. It’s the most ridiculous and frustrating thing, especially since the burgers are good and would be amazing if they did not arrive cold and soggy. I have talked to the person who takes the orders about this and she had no explanation other than that’s how it works. You place your order, then it depends on when the shared delivery driver makes it to Burger Eatery to pick up, then it depends on what order you are in his route. Crazy they would think this is acceptable customer service. I’ll probably keep ordering because it’s good and I’ve started disassembling my burger and microwaving the patty and bun, then adding the cold stuff back. I also turn the oven on after I order so I can put the fries in when they arrive. Yeah, I’ll keep ordering, but I’ll bitterly complain each time.

AWESOME addition to the neighborhood restaurant scene. You can tell that they use super fresh ingredients and they pay close attention to what’s going in their burgers. I am more of a classic burger type of person so the classic definitely did not disappoint. I also had bites of their more adventurous burgers(All Thai’ed up, Shaq Burger) which were a bit too adventurous for my liking but my brother seemed to like it! I also like that their burgers aren’t the type that you feel like you have to run 10 miles afterwards to make up for it. Their truffle fries are also a standout. My only gripe is that the food takes a while to prepare… but to be fair they are a new business so I don’t hold that against them :) This is going to be our staple burger joint!

I was looking forward to this place. fresh meat burgers? No GMOs? Hormone free? Sounds great! But after my first(and last) visit this past Saturday. the best thing about the place is just that, the meat. The place: It’s really small and lacks comfort. After ordering our burgers, it took about 5 mins for us to break into a full sweat. The grill/cooking area is right in the middle of the already small eatery. Its as though there is no proper ventilation. I was wondering why so many people were waiting outside. The WAIT: 30 mins… it took 30 mins for our order of 2 burgers and 2 fries to be ready. How? just how is that possible? And these burgers are smaller than my fist. They are tasty, don’t get me wrong, but I can get served a bigger portion alot faster at an actual restaurant. This is an eatery and I’m barely eating anything. The food: Ok so the meat itself is tasty, but the bread looks like whitecasle burger bread. I added some ketchup and could tell right a way that it was not all natural, it was heinz ketchup for sure. Uh what happened to all natural food??? If you advocate a healthy product this should also include condiments. Your customers are most likely eating healthy to begin with(to pay $ 11 for a burger) and can tell the difference. The Staff: There needs some major training here. Since the grill/cooking area is in the middle of the«eatery» you can see your food being made. They were overwhelmed. Rather then give out each order as its made, they line up several burgers and complete them each little by little. Meanwhile my fries(I knew the order was mine while watching them cook) were sitting out for 25 mins… They were served COLD when the rest of my meal was finally done, there was no sorry, no customer service… nothing. Not to mention they guy calling out the ready orders was so confused as to what orders belonged to who. With this said, it was not overwhelmingly busy. So what gives? You could hear the staff bicker with each other and you just knew these guys really don’t know what they are doing. I was also shocked that the owner was not present.(Or at least didnt appear to be). This is a new business in the growing Jersey City community and I expected a lot more hospitality like many other local businesses in the area. WIth that said, this place belongs in Hoboken. Overall, a 30 mins wait for a burger, bottom line, is ridiculous. Be patient and try to be kind…

This is my first visit to the shop and I was a bit disappointed with the overall experience: Ordered: 21-Patty, 1 Shaq Burger, 1 Sweet Potato Fries(no sugar — my request), and 1 Pecorino Truffle Fries I placed the order at 8:02pm and I got my order by 8:30pm. Presentation: OK but I would think they put the burger nicely together. It looked very rushed(toppings are off the patty and my burger look like a flattened toast… Understand that they are busy but the price I paid for the burgers would equate a bit of care… Quantity: This got the poorest mark for me(and why it went from OK to Meh)… If I spend $ 3+ per deluxe fries, I would expect the quantity to be much more than provided. Even other high quality burger chain would give me much more. The dish was so empty, fries did not cover the space or did it even fill up the dish). Added, the pecorino fries had practically no truffles and very little cheese(Just so you know, the pecorino was not even on all the fries)… I spent a burger that is priced at $ 11 and I would think the quantity would be a bit more. I understand the quality of the meat is their differentiation but the quantity did not even fill me(even when I am not fully hungry)… Again, I get more meat from Shack Shack burger and the price cheaper. Other restaurants would offer much more for the price I pay(added that I pay for my fries and other chains will come with fries), Price: It cost more than other high end burger chain. Again, I feel the price does not justify what I ate… Misc: 1) If people are waiting, I would think they should at least apologize or service a bit more fries for the wait. It is sad that the portion was so small, pay well over $ 35+, and waited over 30 minutes… The restaurant did not have any room so had to go back home to eat… At the end, I think they fill a market niche here in Jersey City… But my first impression was not that impressive.

Solid burgers — lots of taste thanks to some creative toppings. The regular single patty burgers are likely smaller than what you’re used to, really making them more«the burger you need» than«the burger you want» — a good thing in my opinion. Only wish the burger was more on the rare side, for my taste.

This is a tasty new burger option in downtown Jersey City. I like the takeout friendliness but further appreciate the upscale touches(Pat LaFrieda meat, housemade sauces, better than usual toppings). I really enjoyed the Erie burger. All of the flavors worked well together(savory caramelized onions, sweet fig jam, tangy blue cheese, salty pancetta and peppery arugula — yum!) but remained distinct. I definitely want to come back to try some of the other specialty burgers and maybe even sandwiches; there are a lot of options. You also can get more of a classic burger option and add your own toppings. There is currently counter seating facing the window. However, the woman there said they will be expanding into the adjoining space, which means more seating in the future.

I love the single burger and + truffle fries ! Love the burger here than other places in JC. But their worker Nicole needs to be better at answering the phone and not leaving it on the counter to hear her taking other orders for 30 mins in the store. Happened 2 times to me and my other friends.

A couple weeks and much better. Single burger, added pancetta, $ 8.45 w/tax, asked for medium rare. Got it cooked a little rarer than last time, so asking for medium-rare is definitely something you should do. Adding the pancetta gave it the texture it was lacking previously as well. One change I noticed is that instead of giving you a whole lettuce leaf, which is kind of big, they shred the romaine now. I think they may have cut the tomato thinner as well, which is also a plus. Leagues better than Left Bank now and easily one of the best burgers in downtown without a question.

Dine in space is small– but so what? This isn’t your typical try too hard downtown JC eatery. It’s exactly what it aims to be. A burger bar! The staff was fast and friendly and we sat for a bit and watched the cook in action and let’s just say the frequency in which that flat top was cleaned puts every other restaurant to shame. Today I had the Erie street burger and my husband had the Sunday morning burger. Both were cooked to perfect temperature, wonderful blend of salty, savory and sweet– and the truffle fries were fantastic. Adding a Boylans black cherry soda was icing on the cake. Admittedly, if the seating was full we would have taken our food to go without worry. Sitting down somewhere is definitely not my priority at a fast food type of place which is essentially what this is– quality FAST food. A little over $ 30 for two burgers, two sodas and one order of fries but I’m not upset at all. This was top 5 best burgers I’ve honestly ever had. Knowing that the beef is sourced without use of antibiotics and steroids is a big win as well. Makes it worth the mildly higher price tag which even still is not uncommon in jersey city. Will absolutely be back here often.

A very popular concept scaled to Jersey City executed largely competently, but devoid from distinguishing character. I would really love to love this wonderful gem on Erie. Close to Newark, on my way home, sitting waiting for me to pick up my burger. The bun is fine, the meat is tasty, the accompanying stuff is good. The fries are awesome… But what is missing? Space. Ambiance. Vibe.

I had a regular cheeseburger with everything and fries. limited seating. I got plain and they fries were good. burger could use some seasoning. they cook to medium well/well done. there was special sauce(thousand island) on the burger but it wasn’t enough of it. I was hoping for more taste or char on the burger. Layout to pickup is weird especially when you need to squeeze by a few people when busy. First impression– Overall it was alright. Truffle fries are really good, crunchy, flavorful and there’s a lot of it — enough for 2 unless you’re into cholesterol. This is the reason for 4 stars. Burger is good — I like this style of 2 thin patties that have a crisp on the surface. I ordered the classic double that came with American cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato and the BE sauce(tastes a little like salad dressing) which made it a messy and hard to handle. I think the bun is too soft and flimsy. Next time will try a simpler version without the sauce. Overall great value.

I was really excited to try this place when it finally opened, as I’ve seen it under construction for a while. We tried two of their burgers. In the end it was kind of disappointing. The burger patties were very small to the point where they disappeared into the toppings. I wouldn’t mind this so much except for the price tag on these burgers. For nine dollars, I was expecting more of a shake shack equivalent. Just a couple more ounces of meat would make all the difference. I had the Erie street, and the onion marmalade was really cold, which was pretty annoying… I probably won’t go back there again. With bell and gray closing down just down the block, I think this place might need to make some changes if they want to stick around.

This is a much needed fast casual burger joint in downtown JC. There are plenty of waitress service burger options like Left Bank and Park & Sixth and then of course, there is always McDs. But, what the area really lacks are quality fast casual spots where you can grab a quick bite without having to take the fast food route. Burger Eatery delivers on all fronts. They have top notch food that you can order right at the counter. You can take it to-go, or opt to eat in at a high top table. The inside is small, yet cozy and there are plenty of menu options to choose from. There are classic burgers that you can add customized toppings to, as well as signature burger and sandwiches, salads, and of course, fries. Although some of the signature sandwich options sounded great, I prefer a no-frills burger without toppings. Meat and cheese only, please! I went with a classic burger with American cheese, pickles and BE sauce which is basically like 1000 Island. The patty was juicy, the cheese and sauce was flavorful, and the crunchy pickle perfectly complimented the pillowy potato bread. Priced at 6.95, it’s yet again, a nice mid point between fast food and sit down. Although the signature burgers are pricier and fall between the 10 – 14 dollar mark, they do come with a bevy of gourmet toppings. My boyfriend’s Erie street burger was smothered with melty gruyère, fig jam, crispy pancetta, caramelized onion and arugula. We shared a side of out of this world truffle fries topped with garlic and parmesan cheese. They were crunchy and fried to perfection. I’d come back just for fries if I wasn’t super hungry. My only qualm was that they didn’t have fountain soda, but I’m not going to take off a star for that. Plus, it’s fun to drink out of an old school coke bottle sometimes. And, if you are feeling extra adventurous you can always pair your burger with a shake from Torico which is next door. Solid gourmet burgers in less than five minutes and less than five minutes from my house is a major success. I’ll be baaaaaaaack.

YES!!! Burger Eatery hit the nail right on the head. Excellent addition to downtown! Perfect burger, really like this place and the concept, great experience. Will be tough to not make it a routine habit. Love the size of the burger portion, meat quality/texture and interesting burger options with a perfect creative twist. Did not feel disgusting after eating my heart out. Love the excellent Pat La Frieda meat they use In their patties, not overwhelming in size, still juicy and soft… and absolutely divine. So far my fav burger in JC! Had the Erie St burger which was excellent… You could really taste the fig jam which added a nice sweet touch to an already amazing burger. Liked the truffle fries… Wish they were more«truffle-y» nature or had a hint of truffle oil and less dry Parmesan but still good. Will be back on a(dangerous) regular basis!

I have been eyeballing this store front for quite some time now and of course when I saw the ribbon cutting ceremony on IG I knew that my first stop would be the Burger Eatery after work. As soon as I walked in the front door the smell of truffle oil filled my senses and I got pretty excited. Pretty good variety, they have both signature and regular burgers, sandwiches and salads. All of their meat is antibiotic and hormone free, sauces and dressings are made from scratch and whenever possible they chose local — so why not come here? As for sides they have 3 different types of fries — naked, regular and cinnamon sugar sweet potato as well as coleslaw. No fountain drinks here, all bottled options — Boylan sodas and Coca Cola Products. I’m boring and went with the Classic. Can’t beat a good ol smashed burger, they plop a lump of ground beef on the grill and pressed topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, thinly sliced red onion and their house sauce — similar to Thousand Island. Their burgers are made to order and served on these little trays inside paper bags. The burger buns made the burger, they were soft and didn’t take away from the star of the movie — the delicious patty. I would equate this to a Shake Shack burger but without the heavy feeling after. I wasn’t a huge fan of the fries, they are slightly thick cut and topped with sea salt. They weren’t very crispy and a bit soggy but nonetheless delicious. Very limited seating, 5 benches along the window sill and 3 additional seats toward the back. Extra bonus– they recycle! Watch out local burger places, you got some serious competition!

Just went to this place last week and I’m already thinking about which burger to try next. I went with the Eerie St. burger and was really impressed with the delicious balance of flavors in every bite. While I can already see some qualms about size to price I see this burger joint appropriately priced for the quality. Would you rather opt for a tasteless ¼ lb. slab of beef instead of this savory patty you can enjoy through and through? This quality ingredient focus is what I’ve encountered in farm to table minded cities like Burlington, Portland, & Montréal and I’m glad I’m a couple blocks away from this little gem.

Great concept, average name, cute spot, nice presentation, food needs seasoning. I went twice and ordered the same thing each time. To me the mark of a great burger joint is not about its wild toppings burger, it’s about how you do the classic. Burger, Let, Tom, Onion, American Cheese and House Sauce. THe first time the burger just needed seasoning. I got a double each time. The beef just lacked flavor. The house sauce was good. The second time I noticed there was only one slice of cheese on the burgers — one burger was naked. This time it didn’t need as much seasoning but it was still a bit too bland — a second slice of cheese may have provided the saltiness needed to tie this thing together. The house sauce is pretty good IMO. I had the truffled fries both times — the first time they were good but the second time they too were bland. Maybe they are relying too much on the cheese to provide the salt content and well, it didn’t provide. I mean everything feels so close to being good, someone just has to give these people a salt shaker and show them how to use it. So they aren’t far off but for now the flavor is meh. My friends that went all had some of the special burgers and were all happy. I’ll try the special burgers once the classic is nailed down :) For now, LeftBank holds the trophy for best burger in JC but I can’t wait for more competition to keep it interesting.

Update: My wife also wanted to try this place, so I had it again for dinner around 7PM. The burger patty was actually seasoned with salt this time, so looks like they fixed that pretty quickly(less than 6 hours between my first and second tastings). That was my biggest qualm with the burger, so I will now wholeheartedly recommend this place if you want a good burger at a decent price. Sadly, the fries were still too soggy, and this time they cheaped out on the pecorino cheese compared to earlier today. The truffle flavor was still there, but practically no cheese. Also, my wife confirmed that the fries come from a bag and are not hand cut on the premises. However, they are definitely using a good brand of fries. So looks like the burger has improved, but they still need to work on getting the fries right. I have increased my rating to reflect my new experience. Just finished my meal so here’s my two cents: My Order: I picked up a Single with Cheddar and Garlic Herb Aioli sauce with a side of Pecorino Truffle Fries. Burger came with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. Here’s an album of the burger and fries I ordered. Price: Single Burger: $ 6.90 Fries: $ 3.50 Total: $ 10.91 FYI, the double classic burger costs $ 8.66 Food Quality: I got the classic burger so that I could focus on the quality of the burger patty without the distraction of too many toppings. While the quality of the meat was excellent, it was sadly lacking any sort of seasoning. Just some salt would have been enough for me. The patty was thin so it was cooked all the way through, which further diminished the flavor. I was watching them cook and the raw«patties» straight up looked like they took the raw meat out of the box and shaped it into cubes, so it’s clear they aren’t seasoning the meat. Also, they smash the burgers down when put on the griddle(not great for retaining the juices). However, they do let it sit for a while to develop a nice crust, so that’s a big plus for them. The pecorino truffle fries had a great flavor and were a good size. However, they definitely need to be fried for a little longer because they were a little too soggy for my preference. Also, I’m pretty sure the fries come out of a bag since I saw no evidence that they were being hand-cut on the premises. Service: Ordering was a little slow. There were only two people ahead of me with a single cashier, but it still took around 5 minutes before I could put in my order. Despite having a POS with a credit card reader, they’re still using an external credit card terminal, which is a little glitchy(had to insert my card twice). After ordering, you walk over to the other side to pick up. Kitchen staff were also a little slow and running all over the place to put together orders. My seemingly simple order took a while to make, and the people ahead of me who ordered the more complex burgers ended up waiting even longer(one guy was getting visibly upset at having to wait for so long). I’m hoping this will improve as they gain experience and streamline their process. Conclusion: Overall, I wasn’t overwhelmed by this place. I was really hoping this could be a solid«grab n’ go» burger spot, but for that they really need to work on the fundamentals: food quality and speed of service. As of right now, you can get better burgers almost anywhere else nearby, especially if you’re willing to wait 15 – 20 minutes for a basic order, or 20 – 25 minutes for a more complex order. I’ll give the place another try in a few weeks to see if they improve on the fundamentals.
