Stopped by after dinner hoping to get a quick desert. Placed my order relatively quickly and then proceeded to wait over 25 mins for a crêpe. They make the crepes in front of you so you can see exactly what order they are working on. At one point the cook that mine was almost done, so I got up from my seat to go stand and watch my creation — only to see that he hadn’t started on my creation. He was making 2 other crepes for a to-go order. He told me he would have mine ready in 1 min. It came out fast enough at that point, only it wasn’t warm at all. Apple filling was cold in the middle. Oh, and when I asked for an extra set of silverware to share the crêpe, he came back from the kitchen with a wet fork and knive to stick under my crêpe. Looks like a nice setup and has a popular following, but clearly understaffed.

I love it here! You can see the cooks making your delicious crêpe right in front of you! My favorite is the All American crêpe, it taste just like apple pie! My mom and grandmom love the Islander. They’re hours are perfect especially when you’re craving a late sweet treat. Theyre shakes are good too for summer and Nutella hot chocolate?! Yess! Cookies and brownies are amazing but they do run out fast, sadly for us customers. Prices are decent too!

I had the s’mores cookie and I have to say that was the best s’mores cookie I ever had. The crispyness on the outside, the melted chocolate and marshmallows all around was mouth watering. No wonder why it was the last cookie left. If you like cookies, this specific cookie is the way to go. Can’t wait to try the crepes next time!

They delivered 1 hours 45 minutes late and on top of that didn’t even send the complete order.

Haven’t tried the crepes, but the cookies are not good and overpriced. I’d rather go to McDonald’s and get 3 warm chocolate chip cookies for a dollar than get 1 cookie for over a dollar that looks gross and doesn’t taste good. Makes me not even want to try their crepes.

We decided to try this place out after needing something sweet post dinner. The service was ok. The crêpe was delicious but nothing extraordinary. I ordered decaf coffee and it was watery. I would probably come back to try other items off the menu sans coffee. Depending on how those other menu items are, I will edit my initial review.

Product is good but bad people working there. Don’t even bother with ordering something for delivery. They consistently take a long time to complete a simple delivery. Most recently, 2 hours and 40 minutes to deliver cookies and a drink. I live 6 blocks from the place. What is the reason you take so long??? The staff is not helpful at all if you call about your late delivery, but if you don’t call there is a chance it won’t show up at all!(Yes, has happened)

They have a wide variety of crêpe options but you can also create your own(which I highly recommend). My go-to is a crêpe with Nutella and strawberries with vanilla ice cream on the side. Solid place if you wanna get dessert quickly. The portions are good and I always split with at least one or two other people. Service is fast and I’ve never had an issue with dine in. I ordered delivery once and they delivered quickly but forgot the ice cream. The owner was really nice when we called about it but for some reason they couldn’t deliver the ice cream after. So I’m not sure about getting delivery from here but definitely recommend trying dine in at least once.

I once had an iced coffee or something with Godiva in it which was awful. Decided to go in with my sister and wow the crêpe was AAAHHHMAZZZING! loved it! So tasty so filling!(There’s an African guy who works there and omg he makes the best crepes ever) today I went again after the great customer service plus crêpe– but the woman working there made me a PLAIN one(celebrity crêpe) she literally gave me a plain crêpe with a little powdered sugar sprinkled on it with the one scoop of ice cream. — NO whipped cream and NO Nutella spread on top– I was extremely disappointed! I had to ask her for whipped cream– her excuse was ‘we each have our own style’ well then I won’t be purchasing while she’s there and that’s a loss for their business. They have delicious crepes they have good customer service(with other employees) and the presentation of their crêpe is one of the best I have ever seen… But DEPENDING on who makes it. Which is sad business wise because it impacts how often one visits etc. it should be consistent that’s all I have to say.

They didn’t add any Nutella to my crêpe even though I obviously repeated it to them twice. Don’t come here, there’s better crepes in town.

This a small and cute local neighborhood spot which offers great customer service and yummy desserts. I just love their warm cookies, they are way better than any other warm cookies I have had at other places. Been coming here for quite sometime now. Staff is über friendly and sweet. Sometimes they don’t have my favorite flavor cookie they instead offer a bigger cookie at the same price, how cool is that! Prices are also very reasonable and portion size is good. This is our go to spot for all those crepes and cookie cravings.

Crêpe was not bad. But the ice cream was so obviously melted and frozen again, that you could see ice crystals in it. Whipped cream that was served with the crêpe was so spoiled, it tasted more sour than sour cream. It is a miracle I didn’t get a food poisoning from having one teaspoon of it. The place itself didn’t strike me as clean, renovated or nice. The staff seemed rather nice though.

Cookie N’ Crepes is always a good place to go for late night dessert cravings! The prices are reasonable, the place is nice and clean, the customer service is also good, except for one girl who works at night. She doesn’t seem approachable. Anyway, Cookies N’ Crepes offers a lot to choose from and you can make your own. They also sell milkshakes, cookies, and regular scoops of ice cream can be bought. We always have a good experience here and we’ll always go back!

I love the crepes here and this is my go-to for when I want some dessert. But the service always tends to leave something to be desired unless. They could be a bit more organized when lots of people come by, but suck. Anywho if you get there, get the lil dude with the high top fade to make your crêpe. He’s actually from a French family so he gets it. Anyone else typically is eh. Recommended crêpe: All American

My order was literally transposed– ordered the All American with *no walnuts*, and it arrived, an hour later, with no apples and *a ridiculous amount of walnuts.* However! The staff was wonderful when I called and asked about the mix-up– the manager was incredibly kind and offered to remake the crêpe and sent us cookies as well. I’m very impressed, Cookies n Crepes!

This is a little unassuming eatery. They have indoor and outdoor seating and are located on a corner but tucked in a little spot so it can be difficult to see. The sales girl was so sweet and patient while I was trying to make up my mind what to order! My boyfriend and I are cookie fiends… So I had To go with the peanut butter cup cookies! I got two, One for each of us! The cookie itself was peanut butter and had plenty of peanut butter cup in it. Why only 4 stars? Well, the cookie was a little overcooked for my taste. I usually like them to be a bit softer :) but I totally get some people like crunch vs soft mush ! I cannot wait to come back and try a crêpe!

Ive tried a couple of things at this place. Their cookies are just okay. I wasn’t a fan of their cheesecake. I had the Reese’s cheesecake and strawberry Nutella cheesecake. I recently tried their crepes for the first time and it’s huge! Def big enough to share with someone. Not the best crêpe I had but pretty good

Love Love Love — that’s how I feel about this place. While the staff are young & somewhat kooky, the crepes are hot, freshly made to order & delicious. We had the s’mores crêpe & it was HEAVENLY. We sat outside & had a glass of milk with it, & it was a great after dinner treat. Definitely try this place — cost approx $ 8.99 for a crêpe with all the fillings.

I have to admit that I was led astray by the reviews for Cookies N’ Crepes. Or, perhaps it was just an off-day, or off-time… Who knows? What I can say is that the crêpe that my friends and I tried here was, quite possibly, the worst crêpe in any of our memories. Where do I begin? The crêpe batter had far too much egg in comparison to all other ingredients; the first thing that we realized was the distinct egg smell, even when cooked. The crêpe itself was stretchy and far too damp, lacking any sort of crispness or texture that characterizes a good shell. The filling unfortunately wasn’t much better. The Very Berry Crêpe that we ordered had a mixture of strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries inside. Each of these was pretty acidic, with the raspberries almost painfully so; they should have been macerated or at least warmed beforehand to let some of the sweetness come through. The best part of crêpe was the strawberry ice cream on the side, which, unfortunately, isn’t saying much I honestly wish I could give a better rating for this place. Cookies and Crepes is one of the few, much-needed businesses along this stretch of Newark Avenue, and they’re open relatively late as well. I’m not sure what happened here, but when the name of the business has«Crepes» in it, one would logically expect these to be done fairly, if not well. I don’t plan on returning, but if I somehow wind up here again, I’ll stick with the cookies and ice cream offerings instead.
