Great Breakfast /Lunch spot. The food is great and so are the people. Old school people with roots in JC. I definitely recommend. The hot food they have on the line is always great. Support homegrown businesses.

I really like this place, this is me and my boyfriend’s new spot for bacon egg and cheeses that is at a closer range than we usually go to. I would suggest calling to make your order because they tend to close early.

The good was fast and very affordable. For such a small shop, I was surprised that they accepted cards. They also have lunch specials. My favorite part about this place is that they have both Frank’s hot sauce and Sriracha. One thing to keep in mind is that parking is minimal.

If you go into their establishment now, You will most likely see a t-shirt that shows 2 black youths with their hands on the hood of a police car. The phrase«Boyz on the Hood» is written above them. I don’t give my business to racists. If you think that attitudes like this are not detrimental to this or your community, please read the link below: Thanks.

Friendly people, up the block from my house, & perfect hangover sandwiches. Can’t go wrong for the price either. I order from here at least once a week. Definitely try their breakfast sandwiches and the roast beef.

I go here almost every weekend because face it, who wants to wake up on the weekend and make breakfast after waking up early just to go to work during the week! I keep telling myself, write a review dummy but keep forgetting. I go here for the morning sandwiches. Bacon, egg an cheese for my lady and sausage egg and cheese for myself. They’re always on point. ALWAYS. For $ 4($ 1 Arizona included in that price) you definitely cannot go wrong at all. Majority of places want $ 5 just for the sandwich. The place is what you’d consider a hole in the wall but honestly, for a place getting packed at times, that fine cause the line outside sometimes is enough advertisement. I have bought other items there like homefries and even cole slaw(which I absolutely hate the texture) for others who are at the house during my breakfast run. At the end of the day, when they say breakfast is the most important meal, I make sure I come here when possible to start the day off right.

One of my best kept secrets! Owned by a JCPD Officer and family, Daily Grind is always clean and a friendly environment. You can’t beat the sandwiches. Taylor ham, egg and cheese on a roll or a bagel is what I usually get. Lunch is good as well. I know there is always a fight to get the corned beef and cabbage on the rare times they make it. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone.

$ 3 for a bacon/egg/cheese sandwich? Oh and it comes with TWO eggs? Come on, son, you can’t go wrong with this. Taylor Ham, regular ham, bacon, or sausage … whichever works for you, it’ll still be $ 3. These guys are great, the value is unmatched and I’m glad they’re around to remind of the REAL Jersey City. Try to get this same sandwich elsewhere in JC for that price, good luck.

Unilocal saved my life… I was at work starving. Hit the app and came up in daily grind. Called for delivery and ordered Bacon egg n cheese sammich and a sausage Bacon egg n cheese n some fries platter. Delivery was smooth n quick. And the sammich was soooooo good. The platter was decent but I ate it for lunch and wasn’t able to reheat it properly so idk how it really is. Ordered again some days later. This time 2 cold sammiches and 2 orders of fries. I really wanted soup and a sammich but they don’t serve soup in the summer. I forgot another temper did mention that. Anyhoo sammich and fries were excellent!!! Delivery was quick! I tried to order another time as I wanted to try their lunch specials, but they dont deliver in Saturdays. Ordered again today 2 blt and order of fries. The blt was kinda disappointing. Lettuce and tomato were warm and the sammich was on white toast. Pretty thin and soggy. Oh well. So basically the food is good so far. Will def order again and recommend.

Hidden gem of a spot(even after many years of being open) which I feel is the best place to go to for breakfast sandwiches in the west side district of jersey city.(if not all of jersey city) They pack on the meat in their sandwiches and for $ 3, you can’t go wrong for breakfast. I’ve moved closer to this spot so I’ve been going here for awhile. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a quick breakfast this is just the place. I went here at 8:30 am on a Friday and they got me in and out in about 6 minutes! They have a short menu of $ 3 breakfast sandwiches. A bacon, sausage, and taylor ham w/egg & cheese on a roll, bagel, or whole wheat toast. They pack that sandwich pretty good and your outta there. They all serve homemade soup and coffee! I think they also served deli sandwiches for lunch but I didn’t delve. Hope this helps

Used to order company breakfasts from here. Maureen always does a profession job, she always tries to accommodate me, and even takes last minute orders with great prices! She was my saving grace when I used to work at my old job!

Ordered ham, egg and cheese on a roll. $ 3. Huge. So good. The cheese was gooey too. It’s a pretty small spot… I’m glad I kept my eyes WIDE open while looking around West Side Ave for a place to grab some breakfast. Deserves more reviews… but now it’s on that best kept secret status. Swing by for cheap breakfast or lunch! And fast!

Solid food. Cheap prices. And you can usually catch some local gossip or from the regulars. Not high on ambiance, but a fast and economically sound choice for breakfast or lunch.

This place is everything a Jersey deli should be, good fast and cheap. They have a long standing cook«Steady Eddie» who’s weekly lunch specials while outrageously good will add an inch or two to your beltline. He is also known as the Jersey city soup Nazi, but not because he’s mean just because his soup is that darn good. They are also conveniently located 1 block from the light rail west side station. This could be one of those last and greatest hole in the wall new jersey delis.
