Used to only eat here when it came to Chinese food until I found 2 lady bugs in my food.

The Chinese food here is good. It’s not like the best but it dose the job of getting food when your craving Chinese. Heads up the place only takes cash and it’s not just a Chinese food place but also a bar & lounge.

Needs to be visited to be appreciated. Indescribable. Local hole in the wall with a takeout chinese restaurant in the back — some tables to sit down, not at the bar. Food is very good for this type of chinese food — fresh veggies & not cooked to death. The bar is awesome, crowd is local & chill, basic beers and a few old man ones — Black Label. Great place to catch a game basketball, football, baseball & yes hockey.

Awesome little hole in the wall local hang out. There is a separate window for Chinese food takeout that adds to the charm of the place. So you can order your food grab ur takeout walk 10 steps and grab a beer and some plastic utensils chow down. Love the feel of this place.

I’ve lived right up the block for about 5 years now and come here just about everyday for food and now I’m here for the first time for a drink. Great place and full of happy people. Love me some Sherry (bartender and friend)

Chill atmosphere — it’s a neighborhood bar that kind of bridges all the cultures. People come here to have drinks, watch the game and eat some food. Not bad at all

Mid to highish level takeout spot. I moved to the area and didn’t believe it was a real Chinese spot cuz it’s so dark-​windowed and local dive barish outside.
Food is extra for a bar. Fried chicken wings very good, probably cuz they are most ordered at the bar. Dumplings are not the hard skinned, machine formed ones gotten at most takeout spots. Fried rice always tastes fresh. I work up the block and we often order from them when calories don’t matter. The sauces are heavy, and the spicy food is not conservative. I go there to order cuz sometimes the dishes taste rushed when they deliver. Cantonese dishes they don’t do well, I go 2 blocks south to China Fun, a smaller takeout spot that doesn’t do Szechuan dishes well but rocks the Cantonese stuff.
Bar patrons are nice, older crowd from businesses or residences in the area. Games always on, and jukebox eclectic.

Been ordering from this place for 6 years since I work right up the block, I’ve always had nothing but good things to say about this place. Well, all of that changes today. Order my usual chicken and broccoli with white rice and in the middle of eating I notice a bug in my damn food, simply gross. I can never eat here again! *barfff* NOT GOOD!!!

Love this place I have been coming here for 27 years. this place it very safe people are VeRY nice. The bar keepers and the people that takes your food orders are very Friendly. I come here along and never had A problem! The people that come here has been coming here as long as I have. One of the bar keeper sings and she good!

I really don’t know why there aren’t more Chinese food dive bars… seems like something straight out of a movie. Cheap prices and good screens. They’ll put on a non-​NY game if its on a network channel, but they’ll bust your chops in the process. Good place to catch some hoops. Friendly patrons and staff. Carlton is one of the barkeeps here and he’s a good dude.
The Chinese food here is what one would expect from a dive bar. These guys tend to keep everything clean though and I’ve had a few dishes, no real complaints.
Parking is scarce if you’re driving here.

Cheap Chinese joint and a dive bar… why the hell aren’t there more of these? My go to ordering place (I work nearby) when I want chinese. Delivery is prompt, but keep in mind the dollar delivery fee they charge, however. Food is decent, drinks are cheap and they have a couple of TVs to help idle the time away with your fellow sullen Jersey Cityians.
