Harborside Dry-Cleaning

I found the place to be expensive. I got my Nine West heels repaired here and it broke again after a week.

Everyone has got that one pair of shoes that they just can’t seem to let go of. It’s even tougher to let go when the brand no longer makes that style of shoe, and you can’t seem to find a replicated style of it anywhereeeee. I’ve worn this particular pair of boots so much that the heel literally wore away to nothing. So sad!
I took the boots to Harborside and they did a top notch job of fixing up my poor little booties. Between the new sharp heels and the freshly polished leather they basically look like I got them off the shelf yesterday.
My boyfriend also dropped off a pair of horribly stained suede shoes and they cleaned them to look as good as new.
I took one pair of shoes in just to try it out but I’ll definitely be back in with a few other pairs of shoes that need fixing. They definitely work some magic here!

Here’s the deal… I’ve only relied on this place for shoe repair and shoe shining! They always do a great job! Very affordable and quality shoe repair!

I took 5 pairs of shoes in two Ferrgamo, one Lucy Choi and two Attilio Giusti Leombruni not an inexpensive proposition to replace all but one pair were terribly worn on soles and heels. All 5 pair now look like new. I didn’t pay as much as I did in London and about the same as when I lived in dc $ 180 but these had extensive resolving and really extensive reheeling on the Attilos which I walk everywhere in. I am thrilled with the job they did. My Pradas are going in on the next round. Haven’t checked as to whether they have louboutin red for resoling like they were able to do for my Louboutin’s when I lived in London I will be checking shortly though am hoping it’s a yes

Friendly and attentive owners running the store. They try every way to meet your needs. Shoe shine is great especially when you are heading into a meeting.

So I’ll start off with the positive: they did a great job. My 2 year old black boots look brand spanking new. The negatives: it cost me $ 26. The heel replacement — $ 17 and the shine $ 9. I don’t know regular pricing so a bit of Unilocal research seems that both charges are a few bucks over priced, no biggie. But, what I did read was that in most cases of those 5 star businesses — changing the heel or getting work done usually results in a complimentary shine. Now, that’s customer service. But, hey the boots are lookin’ slick, they were done within a hour and half and it’s right next to my gym so, it’s convenient.
Overall, if you have some shoes that need a fixin’ this place does a solid job.
