Very poor delivery service. Consistently, they are taking very long time to deliver the food. They will always say 45 mins for a location about 1mile away but deliver the food after 90 mins sometimes 120 mins. This is ridiculous and not acceptable.

Do not place online orders. Delivery is more than 2 hours. The food here is very good however the delivery service is the absolutely the worst I’ve ever experienced: 2 hours to make a delivery within 3 miles! These folks have truly missed the concept of delivery and that is a shame because I think their awful service may have turned away many customers. How can management let this happen? It seems my experience is not uncommon for this place. I advise you to read through the comments. I placed my order @ 7.56PM. Food arrived @ 9.55PM. Almost everything was cold. Again, avoid at all cost if you can plan to place an online order.

Worst experience ever. 2 hrs for delivery(said it would be 30 minutes). Called after an hour and they said it was five minutes away. Called again after 1.5 hours he said the same thing and he would call me back. Never called back. Food arrived right on two hours. Freezing cold and the wrong order… AVOIDATALLCOSTS.

Please definitely visit this restaurant if you have all the time in the world to wait for an hour to get dinner served and are looking forward to eat Forzen Biryani not even warmed up properly and want be be treated like a freeloader by the waiters. Also you would want to visit this place if you want to have one of the the most expensive meal.

This can very truly compete for the worst Indian restaurant in Little India. Coming from Albany we always crave for good Indian food in jersey city and there are so many nice options out there. But not paradise point. We should have known when the restaurant was empty on a weekend night. Our waiter was nice and very attentive. But the food lacked taste and any flavor. And our dal tadka came after we finished dinner. With so many options out there. Why bother with paradise.

The veg biryani tastes pretty good compared to other places that serve biryani in this area. The name suggests it’s a spin off of the famous Hyderabad Paradise. While the biryani doesn’t truly taste like authentic Hyderabad biryani, it’s a close imitation.

This is paradise biryani ? No way cheap rice, no taste and waste of money it’s better across the street biryani point which I had before

Ok, so I was busy doing college student stuff until I started craving for some hot curry. Having nothing to eat for dinner, I walked from my dorm to this part of JC. There were several fancy looking Indian restaurants down the street and I picked this place because it had that humble, mom and pop vibe to it. Business seemed slow inside, but I didn’t mind more attention. The woman who took my order was warm and welcoming, but that goat curry w/rice was HOT. The goat chunks were pretty savory, even though not much was in the curry, but quality vs quantity and all that shenanigan. Rice was sold sperately, but it wasn’t a problem. All in all, the meal came to around $ 18, but I really think that the meal and portion was for two or three people instead of one. There is also a student discount here if you show your student ID. All in all, this is a pretty great place. I may come back for some more. Also, there’s a hugh flat screen with some great Bollywood tv lol

Great service, okay food. Starters were okay, I feel the spice level overpowered the flavor in them. Goat biryani was better but nothing extraordinary, rice had nice flavor to it but the goat meat was okay. Ambience of the restaurant in nothing to talk about, just an average Indian restaurant. 2 stars for food and one star for the service provided. Will try other items on the menu and update.

5 stars is for the authentic Hyderabadi dum biriyani tasting just right. Everything else on the menu is average. Stay away if you do not like the dry type biriyani.

The place actually sucks! I hate giving bad reviews but this place deserves this. The chicken biryani had white rice with uncooked chicken in between.

Honestly deserves zero stars. The chicken biriyani I ordered was essentially half white rice. And the raitha was essentially just water with onions mixed in there. Utter garbage. I would not suggest ordering from here

I have lived in Hyderabad and I have had some of the best biryani ! The biryani here is so close to the authentic hyderabadi dum biryani! So good So good! We ate here one of the nights when we were visiting NYC and staying at Springhills in New Jersey. I was blown away! So freaking delicious! I was craving it the next day again!. We went again had another serving of the yummy biryani that night. And then the next morning, I was there again to have some packed for the go for lunch. I am so addicted. Now I am back home, and I am craving your biryani. Here I am walking up and the streets of Downtown Albany wondering and second-guessing which indian restaurant might serve a biryani as good as you did. I gave them a try and nothing comes as close to what biryani you guys served. Stop! I can’t do this long distance relationship. You have to move closer to us. Paradise Biryani Pointe, move in to Upstate NY. Sob. Sniffle. I miss you already. I know! just three days with you, and I’m so madly in love. I want that biryani. Ok, sweet drama aside, their biryani is very very spicy. We got the medium, and that was super spicy too. But, it’s the right kind of spicy. The perfect medley of spices that leaves that hot heavenly fire of pepper lingering on your palette. Spicy is good for you health when its done right. It’s a good detox and high in vitamin C. ;) So when you are in Jersey City, and if you like spicy food, go indulge in this paradise of flavors. Biryani awesomeness personified. And you, Paradise Biryani Pointe, stay awesome. I am the one who asked if it was really ‘medium’ spicy, wiping my tears of awe saying it was so so good, while stuffing in more of that awesome biryani. I was also the one who suggested lemongrass oil to make the space smell even more awesome. :)

The food is a hit or miss, last night I ordered chicken tikka and boneless chicken biryani and both tasted below average. The chicken tikka seemed undercooked and boneless chicken in biryani was hard to chew. It took them 1.5 hrs to deliver the food and the excuse was that the driver is not here, well that’s not my problem Coz I didn’t pay any less to get the cold tasteless expensive food!!!

We order tandoori chicken which was half cooked. Chicken Biryani was just a precooked biryani which was warmed up and served. We could tell it from the dried up rice grains which looked precooked. Anyways to top it off while finishing the briyani I even found a small hair. Yucks. Never going there again.

Probably the WORST indian restaurant I have ordered from. Portion sizes are very small and compared to the other places on this street this one is not very good.

My friend from North Jersey suggested going here for Hyderabadi Biryani. We got there at 3.00 p.m. for lunch and it still had quite a packed place. Food — We ordered a chicken biryani, mutton biryani and chicken gravy. The biryani was spicy and had the right amount of massala. Chicken gravy went really well with the biryani. There was a vegetarian among us, who ordered for daal(lentil) with naan. Daal wasnt too oily and had the right spice quotient. Get your beer — goes well with spicy biryani. Service — The waiter was friendly and helpful in directing us to the liquor store.(BYOB).
