We are local, but just moved to the area. We love the food here! Everything is freshly made and delicious. I love the taco salad with ground beef – so tasty. The fajitas are fresh and yummy as well. The staff are friendly and you can’t beat the view both inside and out. My kids love it too!

Best steak fajitas I’ve ever had! Steak was tender and full of flavor, not to mention the generous portion sizes. Excellent chips paired with the salsas from the salsa bar make a great appetizer. Service and specialty cocktails receive an A+ as well!

This place is a great addition to the island! We had friendly, attentive service, and tasty, fresh food. Generous portions. Gorgeous sunset view! So glad to have a fun, relaxed Mexican option on Seabrook. We’ll be back!

We visited the island again and I was forced to come here. Unfortunately, my prior review stands and is worse than before. Anyone using the words amazing, absolutely, or awesome in their review are definitely related to the owners. Caveat emptor.

I moved down here from northern Ohio back in February onto kiawah. I heard so much about arriba that a friend and I decided to give it a shot. When we arrived, there werent many people, and were seated almost immediatley, but waited for our waitress for almost ten minutes! I can say for the food to be made in house, the chips were stale, and the queso too runny. But what made the experience bad was the small portions and such a big bill. I paid almost $ 50 for 2 meals and some queso that didnt even fill us up. We ordered a side of guac, expecting it to be big enough to share and got maybe a dollop, for $ 2! To make matters worse, we overheard a table mention the guac didnt taste right and the manager/owner was very rude to the customer. The female manager or owner, whichever she is shouldnt be running a business where she cant handle direct criticism. Her attitude made the experience worse and im going to recommend my friends and family to not eat there, if it was possible i would give this review no stars. Maybe with a little more work, bigger portions and nicer people the price would be worth it.

Wow… this place is amazing! They have a fresh salsa bar, homemade gluten free tortillas, and a great specials on margaritas. The service was excellent… we will definitely be back!

One of our worst dining experiences ever. Poor food(one in our party got food poisoning), cold food, stale chips, mediocre guacamole in tiny portions, under filled wine glasses, poor service and the rudest manager or owner I have ever witnessed. When we complained, she came to our table, verbally abused us, said all of this poor food and service was our fault! Whatever happened to the«customer is always right»? Not a complainer and have not written negative reviews before, but be warned: this place is awful and I would never recommend it to anyone.

I have lived and traveled the world, visiting nearly 40 different countries and have lived in Europe and all over the states. My family and i are frequent diners and only twice before have I reviewed a restaurant because they were so fantastic. Now I must write my first negative review and it is negative all the way around. One member of our party had a shrimp taco which was inedible. He got violently ill that night and next morning, suffering from food poising and the health department conducted a subsequent investigation. Two member of our party received stone cold meals, while three had incorrect meals delivered. My meal was average, while the rest ranged from awful to average. The service was mediocre; the place had a very small crowd yet it took over 45 minutes to get our food. The wine pouring was a rip off, as my wife and another member of our party ordered glasses of wine and had a well below normal portion. When one member of our group forcefully but politely and respectfully complained to our waitress about the cold food(without even mentioning the other violations), the manager/owner came over to our table and was as disgustingly rude as I have ever seen in my 56 years of eating out around the world(and I’ve eaten many times in Paris!!). She was hateful, rude, indignant, accusatory, and blamed us for the bad food and poor service. To top it off, when one member of our party wrote a bad review she responded to the review as if she were another patron at the restaurant, essentially calling us liars while she was dishonestly posting. Otherwise a great place, but we’ll not be back. Ever.

FANTASTIC! If I could give this place six stars I would. Not only are the upper deck’s sweeping views unbeatable, but the ambiance on the inside runs a close second. There are floor to ceiling windows along the walls all reflected through a giant mirror along the main dining room wall, so no matter where you sit, you’ll have a fabulous view. The food is killer. Very fresh ingredients and full of flavor! The house made corn tortillas used for the tacos make such a HUGE difference and add a very authentic touch — my favorites were the mahi and the chicken. I had a house margarita that was to die for. No syrupy/sugary mixes used. From the service to the views to the food… Try it out. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely loved Arriba. Casual atmosphere, easy menu, family friendly. Yummy guacamole, delicious grilled mahi tacos and an amazing jalapeño cucumber margarita! Staff was extremely accommodating and felt awful we had a bit of a wait when I had called ahead and was told no wait. Do call ahead and be put on wait list… it usually works.

This is the second time we have eaten here. They have a fresh salsa bar, hand made tortillas, and a nice Marguerita menu. The carnitas burrito was AMAZING. In a crowded Bohicket area, this is a fantastic addition.

We stay on Seabrooke one week a year and always Like to try new places. Although I could take or leave Mexican food, my wife loves it. So we came here and I was floored by the flavorful amazing food, the excellent courteous waitstaff, and the overall good vibe of the place. The owner stopped by to ask if everything was fine, very nice lady. Needless to say we usually eat at a different place every day just because. We ate here twice, and hardly ever do that. Highly recommend this place, especially if you love Mexican food.

While the overall food entrees were very good, I would recommend the following: 1) Purchase a frozen margarita machine 2) Purchase a fountain drink machine; customers like free refills. No one likes buying canned cokes for $ 2 unless there are refills 3) While the salsa and queso were good, I would use different chips 4) $ 6 for a single taco is a bit too expensive

We wanted a change from southern food, so we chose to try out Arriba! I had the house margarita with Jose Cuervo Gold(which was awesome, see picture) and we started off with mild salsa, queso, and chips. I could have drank the salsa, it was THAT good. The queso was also delicious. For an entrée, I got the fried cod taco(it’s just one). It comes with a citrus slaw & chipotle crème on top, which was also good. I wish I would’ve known it also came with guac, tomatoes, & lettuce on the side so I could’ve switched it out with rice but it wasn’t that big of a deal since the taco was already delicious. My mom got the grilled mahi taco & my sister got the ground beef taco and they also liked theirs. The salsa bar is a plus!

You know how you go to a restaurant and 1/3−½ of the food tastes amazing and you still think it’s a good restaurant and would return and get the food you relished? Well, not this place – EVERY single bite was amazing and we couldn’t stuff it in our faces fast enough. Great variety fresh salsa bar, perfect chips, creamy queso, perfect guacamole, comfort food level chicken burrito, and to die for vegetarian portobello mushroom tacos and fish tacos(mahi mahi recommended by the waitress was def the right call). Happy, considerate servers, amazing view. Feels like vacation eating on the roof with stunning sunset. Go eat amazing food and enjoy!

Amazing place! We frequent Kiawah every year and this is the first Mexican place we have found. Although this restaurant just opened a week or so ago, it functioned as though it had been running for years. Everything was flawless! The location alone was enough to draw us in, with a beautiful view of the marina whether you opt to sit inside or out on the patio. If you get there right at sunset, the view will take your experience to another level. The food was wonderful, and not overpriced. To start, we ordered the queso and guac– a great start in combination with their plentiful salsa choices. We ordered two of the burritos which were both filled with fresh ingredients and drizzled in the fantastic queso sauce. The taco salads were also fantastic. Our server was very friendly throughout the course of the meal, and was very open to chat with us. After our meal, the owner came over to ask us how everything went. Overall great customer service!
