Bojangles

Yup. The other recent reviewers are 100% correct-​this place barely rates a single star. The place is just rundown from the parking lot to the dining room. Staff is completely unsupervised, dining room is a disgusting wreck and my food is just barely ok. Bojangles locations as a whole in Charleston are train wrecks nowadays but this is the Titantic.
**They have messed up 3 orders since I have been here, a couple walked out and one guy just dropped the f-​bomb after getting wrong food at drive thru and coming inside. Yikes!
**I saw a Manager person when I was getting tea to go and she had just messed up another customer’s order.

Close this one down. It serves no purpose. Staff does not care about anyone, food is terrible at best, place smells, floors and table tops are sticky. Every time you go, place is empty. This should tell you something. Such a great Location for a customer oriented good food place. Too bad this one is occupying such a valuable spot. If the company checks their income vs expenses carefully, they too will come to the same conclusion.

With all of the other options for Bojangles (or fried chicken) in the West Ashley area, I see no reason why I should return to this location. The service was non-​existent, and with me being the only customer inside the building (at 6pm), you’d think that they’d want to be a little bit more excited to have traffic coming in to purchase their chicken. We asked for a tailgate special with all dark meat, and were given a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ mix of dark and white meat. I have nothing against breasts, but when you’re expecting thighs, legs, and wings, finding out that half of your box is filled with huge breasts, it tends to put you off a little bit.

We have been in the drive through line for 25 minutes and of course our food was wrong. I would go somewhere else.

I love Bojangles, but I can honestly say I despise this one (121 Main Road). First, the staff is rude. But that’s the best part about this Bojangles. The second complaint… the one staple of Bojangles (their fries… and that seasoning… yummm), well you won’t get that at this Bojangles. The fries are almost always served cold, and the worst part, every single time you have to ask for extra seasoning. Even with that request, you still get fries that are plain… with NO SEASONING. So then you have to go back in, and ask for extra extra seasoning. Lastly, the order is almost never right. If you order a sweet tea, it’s unsweet. If you order a bo-​berry biscuit, you get a cinnamon biscuit. If it wasn’t a mile from my house, I would not have gone back after the first time. After the last rude and snarky cashier, and yet another wrong order, I will never go back.

Always too long of a wait for your food. The staff is rude, slow and could care less about their jobs.

Based out of Charlotte, this popular franchised restaurant offers many delicious southern style foods at a very reasonable price. I especially like their Homestyle Chicken Tenders, Dirty Rice, Seasoned Fries (I actually request they put on extra seasoning since I like it so much), biscuits, Sausage Biscuits, and Bo-​Berry Biscuits (a dessert biscuit filled with blueberries and drizzled with icing). Their biscuits in particular are especially delicious and positively contrast with others I’ve had at local and far more expensive restaurants.

For those who see my Unilocal postings, you should know first that Unilocal choses the photos that are posted. Second that a review stays forever. For example, I had ONE bad occurrence at this Bojangles and posted it… Now it is repeated everytime. Come on Unilocal!Anyway, the ONE bad review is this:
«I know they were busy, but no customer service today. 5 cars in the drive thru, I got to the window and they said it would be 12 minutes and was that okay. There were no offers other than waiting, so I cancelled my order and drove away. Terrible, terrible service.»
Like I said: ONE TIME!
By the way, this location needs to get folks (whomever) to cut the bushes to the left of the exit onto Main Road, as the bushes tend to hide folks speeding toward the Savannah Highway intersection!

For fast food it is a great value and meal, if you are looking for healthy food it might not rank at the top. Chicken, biscuits and sweet tea are very flavorful and a tasty. Cleanliness was good along with the service.

Bojangles offers cajun and southern style fast food, with their claim to fame being their «famous chicken and biscuits.» I’ve tried their chicken every once in a while (I’m not big on fast food fried chicken), but let me tell you that their biscuits keep me comin’ back time & again.
I drop by this location every once in a while on my way to work. It’s usually early in the morning (before 830). Their staff are always friendly and efficient; I never have to wait long for my order.
They haven’t gotten my order wrong yet; on the contrary, they’ve actually done a very good job at getting it right. I like my tea half sweet and half unsweet. This confuses most people, or most people just don’t care enough to do it right. The staff here at this location seem to care enough to do it right. =)
