Called today and got hung up on twice they didn’t even say hello. Third time they just threw the phone on the counter. It’s still busy 45 minutes later. So that prompted me to mention my past experience that I wasn’t going to post but now I will, Went there and they were«out of wings» when I repeated«out of wings?» The man just walked away into the kitchen. I had two children with me and we had just finished bowling they were hungry. So I waited. He came back out I asked him«so what do you have?» With an attitude and a face he replied«boneless, traditional… «because of the attitude I only ordered for my lil ones they didn’t eat much and didn’t like the food, tossed it. Total waste of money, joke service and business.

We decided to stop at the bar and grille and have a quick bite to eat. We waited 40 minutes for our appetizer(Mac’ and Cheese Bites). And the wings came out 10 minutes later. I can’t stress the importance of satisfying the customer at this point. What Im trying to say is that service took entirely too long and they didn’t even offer the appetizer as complimentary for waiting so long. Im not entitled Im just saying there are 20 other restaurants on Atwood Ave that you could sit down and get food twice as fast and of the same quality or better. We both thought the server was pleasant. The Mac’ and Cheese Bites were good. To be honest. I really like their suicide wings. You’re lips will burn! Other than that, the food is nothing original.

We used to go here about twice a week and I’ve slowly noticed the quality of chicken has gone down greatly. They are ALWAYS out of blue cheese, really? You are a wing place, how do you run out of the most important side for a wing? And when they do have it, it’s not the good blue cheese they used to have, it’s kens steak house crap in single servings that would be enough for 1 wing! The wing quality is def not what it used to be at all. Frankly the service here has always been terrible, the guys that run it don’t care at all and are very rude! We have abandoned this place until they up their quality and we will got to b-dubs.

Quite literally the worst service I’ve ever had at any business. The guy at the front counter was rude, and pretended he couldn’t hear me the second he walked out back(there is a door AND a window to the back room… Less than 10 feet from the front counter). I walked out before my food was done because I was so disgusted… But decided I wouldn’t stoop to their level and came back in. Bad call. Their website shows a menu that is significantly different than the menu that they actually offer, both for options and pricing. I had to use photos on here to even have a clue how they work. This is a franchised location — many of their franchises have closed over the years and now I can see why. Terrible management and service. Now… The food. ½ pound boneless? Right. Are we talking metric pounds here?(Sarcasm) There’s no way that was a half pound of chicken. The wings were soggy and the hot sauce was very watery. These wouldn’t be hot on a toddler’s palate. The fries could have used more time cooking… They weren’t terrible but slightly underdone. Also completely unsalted. Mozzarella sticks were good(silver lining) but overpriced at $ 5.95. Then again, those come in frozen and all you have to do is cook them, it would be hard to screw up… But I wouldn’t put it past this place. Pricing wise… Terrible. All of this cost me $ 17… And the guy let me leave without my drink for the combo. Luckily I realized before I drove off. Overall the experience was horrible, through and through. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. I’d rather eat chicken McNuggets with Frank’s Red Hot… It would taste better, give me more food, and cost less than half this. In summary, I wish there was a zero star option. They are overpriced because they have to milk every last cent out of their customers, likely knowing they won’t get many back. Don’t get tricked into eating here. This place was so bad I had to download this app to scathe them. Next time, I’ll drive the extra few minutes into Providence for Wings Over.

I pretty much lived off their mozzarella sticks and fries for weeks, probably months actually. And to the people giving bad reviews based on the way the employees look, whether it’s about tattoos or their clothes or whatever else people are judging them on, you’re wrong about them, you shouldn’t feel scared or threatened, they’re all very nice people who are just trying to do their jobs. So what if the guy making your chicken has friggin’ tattoos? Are you scared the ink is going to get in your food? Or that it’s going to jump out of their skin and attack you? Lolol c’mon people, they’re all absolute sweethearts who work there.

They are rude. I don’t care how good your wings are, if you are rude you are not Getting my business. I called and asked if they took orders over the phone and the guy replied«yes, that’s why we have a phone» I was speechless. Wings are approximately a dollar per wing, and it takes like 15 mins for them to be ready. Bbq wings are delicious. Keep being rude and soon you’ll be gone baby.

When I have a craving for wings I usually go here. They have a nice selection of sauces. The wings are always hot and crispy, just the way I like them.

I was craving wings for lunch one day and decided to finally give this place a shot after living 5 minutes away from it and never having gone in. Ordered 12 boneless wings and figured that would be enough to split with someone else. When I got home, I realized that they not only forgot the fries I had ordered but that their idea of boneless wings are essentially chicken nuggets in a weak sauce. Overall, bad experience and over priced food.

This review is based only on their hot wings. The only other thing I’ve had here are the Motz sticks which were fine. We’ve tried this place twice, roughly a year between each visit and had the same result… here’s to consistency! If you have a restaurant with ‘Wings’ in your name then you are going to attract people that love the Hot wing. Unfortunately in this area there aren’t many places to choose from. Sure all the other flavors you offer might be worth trying someday, but the Hot wing is the meat and potatoes of your business. As a customer I expect your hot wings to be at least good if not great or better yet freaking amazing. I want to point out that both times the wings we ordered were cooked properly. The problem is the sauce! Wings to Go has to take some time to completely overhaul their hot wing recipe since it definitely falls flat on its face. The sauce… that is if you can call it that, doesn’t stick to the wings. So what you get are fried wings sitting on top what looks and tastes like an mixture of oily butter with a little bit of hot sauce. This results in boring bland wings. Thank god for the Bleu Cheese cups you included! Please fix your recipe. Whoever owns this place go out and discover what makes a good hot wing. Then fix your recipe, After that put a sign on your door that says NEW and IMPROVED and you’ll earn at least one customer for life. Also if you are going to serve wings of sub-par quality than please price accordingly. 16 wings for $ 16.99… Seriously?

Wings To Go has the best boneless wings I’ve ever tasted, hands down. Case in point, I live in Massachusetts, and Wings To Go used to have a location in New Bedford, within 15 minutes of my house. I was really sad to see them go, because the wings were so tasty. I looked them up on the web, and their only other restaurant was a good hour’s drive away, in Johnston, Rhode Island. I only get up there 1 – 2 times a month, but that’s the only time I order wings out now. Some places say, «Boneless Wings» when what they really mean is big, thick strips of chicken, coated in buffalo sauce. Boneless wings, in my mind, are bite sized, or a tiny bit bigger. Wings To Go has the strips too… They call them«Tenders» to differentiate between the two. So, you know what you’re getting when you order. Whether you like bone-in, boneless, or the aforementioned«tenders», Wings To Go has you covered. You can have them tossed in one of 19 different sauces, including six different levels of heat, «mild», «medium», «hot», «extra hot», «suicide» and«homicide», as well as flavors like, «Sweet and Sour», «Lemon Pepper», «Honey BBQ», and«Barbicide», a mix of BBQ and Suicide hot sauces. My personal favorite is «Buffalo Garlic». Spicy, and with a tangy aftertaste. You can also get a variety of chicken sandwiches(with your choice of one of the 19 flavors), Fish and Chips, salads, wraps, and sides like cole slaw, and crinkle cut fries. Top it off with a soda or water from the cooler, and you’ve got a meal fit for a king(or, at least a Wing King). The food is always, fresh, hot, and delicious, but with the price of chicken going up, the cost makes this a once-in-a-while treat. They mostly do takeout business, but they do have 4 tables inside if you want to eat in. Kinda feels cramped, but usually I take my food to go, and reheat when I get home. Word to the wise. If you’re planning to get take out, have them double bag it, because the sauce tends to drip. Stop by and give ‘em a try. You won’t be sorry. *Update* New for 2015, they’ve acquired the storefront next door, and expanded, opening the«Wings To Go Sports Bar». You can now order an alcoholic beverage, and watch the game while you enjoy your food. They’ve expanded their menu to include new appetizers and sandwiches.

As far as «wings» go… Wings to go falls short. The bone-in wings are tiny and overpriced. Their tenders however are always juicy and on point… But equally overpriced. The sauces are just ok. Some of them are really watery and though I’ve tried a bunch, only really recommend the«hot» style. It’s actually mild to me… But it’s got the best flavor out of the options I’ve tried. Eat-in(while small inside) is always my choice because when I get anything«to go», I end up with greasy, separated sauce. The people there are friendly, and I do dig their seasoned, crinkle cut fries. But the inside is run-down and the small wings keep me away.

Wayyyyyyy to over priced! 80 wings for 80 $ LOL never again will I go back! They were full of grease, just a mess in the containers we got. But then again I wasn’t surprise after walking in to the place, which was also kinda of a dump. Waste of money! Save your money go to Boneheads Wing Bar in west warwick! :o)

This is not health food so lets be clear about that. I have been going to this franchise for at least 8 years and it is run by the same polite guy year at all times. What they serve is fried wings with many different sauces. My favorite is the lemon pepper. Is their grease in the bottom of the container, yes there is. They are also served very hot. Give it a try.

My go to wing place. Miss the original location on Thayer. I tend toward the boneless wings as the sauce gets captured in the breading. Both bone in and boneless are really good options for that tangy hot hankering you have.

I concur with the other reviewers about the buffalo sauce — it’s not really that great. It’s thin and separates quickly, leaving an oily mess. The real bad thing about this place is the service. The service can be surly and rude, if they even acknowledge your presence in the first place. One time I walked in and the person behind the counter did not even acknowledge I was there, and I stood there for a solid 30 seconds with nary a «I’ll be right with you.» Mind you, this person was 4 feet in front of me. It was apparent that I was not ever going to be acknowledged, so I turned back around and walked out, and I will never return. I am seriously baffled by lousy service like this in this day and age. Do restaurant owners not understand that every dollar counts in a down economy? Apparently not.

Its getting more and more difficult, it seems, to find great wings in RI. I’ve been to this particular Wings-to-Go on several occasions and I’d have to say they are in the Top 3 for Best Wings in the State. Too many times, I find most establishments aren’t cooking their wings long enough. The wings need to be on the«well done» side. The skin and fat should be rendered down leaving only tender, moist, «fall off the bone» chicken meat. Wings-to-Go does this every time. The only reason they lost a star was the price… now, instead of ordering in 10 piece denominations, its 8… not sure if they adjusted the price(probably not), but they’re teetering on the edge of not being worth it, since wings are not difficult to cook at home. All in all, Wings-to-Go is excellent at what they do and they produce a great product.

Split here between three and four stars with a leaning to 4. So let me just break it all down. 1) Wings were big and meaty. Even the flats had a big portion of meat. 2) Price was reasonable 3) BBQ Honey really good with just a touch of spice 4) Hots(this was the down side), flavor was okay, but I think they forgot the H, O and T. This had flavor and nothing more. The Honey BBQ had more kick. Even my daughter, all of 5 years old thought they were weak. So, I guess if you want something with some heat you will need to go to one of the other extreme flavors, but I am not sure it will do it for you given what they consider to be hot to begin with. So I think you should take a bottle of Tabasco, or at the very minimum some Texas Pete. But, I will return

What happened to wings to go? It used to be glorious, wings covered in hot sauce and they came in the shake bucket so you can keep coating them. Now you order wings and they come soggy in styrofoam, flavorless, swimming in grease with barely a hint of spice or hot sauce.(Pic posted). We had to make our own sauce and coat them ourselves. Wing fail, no bueno.

AHH! Here I was thinking all of the Wings to Go around me had closed. I almost caused a traffic accident when I saw the sign, spun the wheel and screeched into the parking lot, neither planning on getting lunch, nor hungry at the time. All of a sudden, it felt A WHOLELOT like lunch time. Ordered my usual combo with the boneless wings«hot», a can of coke and fries as if no time had passed at all(about 2 years) since I thought W2G had died and gone to buffalo wing heaven. It’s official, they’re still the best little boneless morsels on the planet, and I feel ashamed to have disgraced my mouth with copycats in the meantime.
