Manager should consider hiring competent front door hostesses that can count to four! Hostess sat 3 other groups that arrived after we did whose parties were the same size or smaller than ours. We insisted multiple times and she continued to disregard us. Will not return to Hooters Joliet! Off to Hooters Aurora! Learn to count!!!

Shrimp was horrible and usually it’s my favorite food. I’m very disappointed because I don’t come here often but when I do I expect nicely breaded hot shrimp and instead I received basically unbreaded cocktail shrimp soaking in hot sauce with salsa. Yes, salsa because that is what you should serve with hot breaded shrimp!!! Thank goodness the cold cold beer only took 10 minutes.

Stopped for a quick bite after a movie. Apparently the don’t like seating single business men from out if town. After waiting 5 – 10 minutes just to get on the seating list, and having multiple hostesses come and go, I left and went down the street. After they helped a family that came in after me. I’ve never seen so many kids at a Hooters in my life. Must have been kids night.

10−31−15, After writing my previous review about this Hooters, I received an email message from the store manager. She explained that they still carry bottled craft beer, but the menus were not available. So I re-visited the store again and sure enough they now have new beer menus. That being said, they still don’t have the well rounded selection they once had. But they have bottles craft beer nonetheless. My recommendation to management of this store is to get the whole menu reprinting thing done before you dispose of the existing menus. And, educate your servers through the transition from old menus to new menus. My 3 star review is based on their new selection of bottled craft beer only.

Well I tried to hold off on this review for a while, but I guess it’s well deserved. I’m currently writing this message while I’m on hold with them. I went here once, I’m guessing on shift change. The waitress served our drinks than didn’t return for a whole twenty minutes to let us know a new waitress will be taking care of us because her shift is done. Another time i asked for water and it tasted horribly, I let her know she told me she can’t do anything about it. That’s how Joliet water taste, I asked her if there was any other kind of water and that I would pay. She said no, I will be attaching a screen shot to show that I been on hold this long just to place an order. I get they get busy but at this point I feel forgotten. I will not be placing an order even if they answer before I’m done, this place is a joke and the ppl that work here apparently don’t care.

Very clean restaurant, very good service. As a service industry employee myself, our table was a bit needy and our server handled it with a smile and never got impatient even when I think she had a right too haha. All of our food came out hot and exactly what we ordered. Draft beer was ice cold. Typical Hooters, my experience was 100% satisfaction. GOOD Eats: Buffalo shrimp, Daytona wings, steamed shrimp and clams.

Service is quick, girls are sweet, and food is proper. I haven’t had a personalized experience yet as I usually am picking up to go but I am sure everything will be great. Only small issue I had was ordering ranch and celery and not getting it. I paid and then when I got the food checked and it was nowhere to be found. They then charged me for it even though it wasn’t my fault. Kind of annoying but very minor hiccup.

Have gone there three times and tried to get what was owed to me from the GM. The second time we finally got what was owed, actually part of it. We were supposed to get a half off for the order and 2 pitchers, we got the discount, but still had to pay for the one pitcher we got. The GM said my name and what we were supposed to get was to be in their book or in the office and the manager at the time after searching several times said no. He reluctantly called the GM at home and she said the half off. Apparently she even forgot about the pitchers. We thought after that visit, the service and speed would pick up. Boy we were wrong, I don’t know why everyone in our group wants to go back. Our waitress this time, Alexis was good at taking our orders, but when it came to taking care of extra needs like silverware, hand wipes, and extra sauce it was horrible. Never saw silverware and had to ask for the hand wipes. Refills were far and few, one person in our group had iced tea and when he asked for a refill, they didn’t have any more and had to get a diet Pepsi instead. Wouldn’t you think if the place is still open that they would still have tea available. Usually around 11:20 or so, you can see the girls cleaning up and straightening up tables for the next day. I get it was busy earlier with the Blackhawks game on and some other sporting events, but come on you are open til midnight. Our waitress, was not very attentive and when one at our table asked for blue cheese dressing, it took a good 10 minutes. The refills took about as long. I don’t get how two buffalo chicken sandwiches, a philly cheese steak sandwich and an order of wings all with tots or onion rings can take 30 – 40 minutes. Flagging down a manager to ask him won’t do any good, since you can’t rush frying chicken. I ordered no cheese on my sandwich and it had cheese, I didn’t want to risk the food going back only not to receive a sandwich back. The onion rings that came with the food were nothing more than frozen onion rings you can get at a grocery store and I got maybe 8 rings. When you order tots or fries, the plate is loaded with them. It would take a lot to get my business back and I will encourage everyone in my group to go to TGI Fridays nearby. We are loyal customers who are tired of getting the raw end of crap service.

Pretty disenchanted with our meal. We ordered the Daytona wings which were described as having a carmalized coating. Nothing was carmalized… just plain fried. Disappointing. Secondly, we ordered curly fries and to say they were inedible would be an understatement. We dumped the whole thing out. They were barely warm and tough and chewy. Disgusting! I don’t know that we will be spending our money there again any time soon! The meal should be an embarrassment to any good restaurant manager.

The avacado slices are not avacado slices. They’re like some kind of jello flavored avacado.

As always — TMI wings(order the wings naked, with the sauce on the side) & some nice cold beer hit’s the spot…

This hooters I would give an okay rating. It is hit or miss for service. I’ve had great visits and not so great visits. Overall a solid B. Edit: Went back last night for dinner and had awesome service from Nikki. Fast, polite and friendly. Moving them to 4 stars.

Very clean establishment fast and friendly service they are starting to catch on to craft beer and are generally a good place to catch a decent lunch and dinner management seems to have it together and so do the staff I would recommend this hooters to anybody best one I’ve ever been too girls are decent looking too! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it’s just a chill spot and not a blow your mind place it’s pretty reasonably priced too I would recommend it to anyone trying to unwind or a nice family lunch way classier than tk.

The carryout sucks here. When I dine in at the bar, my experience is usually good, totally opposite from when I carryout. Carryout has seriously disappointed me on two separate occasions. The first disappointment I ordered wings for the first NFL game of the season. I timed it so I could be back home with the wings for kickoff. Unfortunate for me, Hooters jacked up the entire order. Instead of having my order ready when I got there, Hooters had to start a new one while I stood there and waited. By the time I got home with my wings, the game was in the second quarter. The second carryout disappointment came this past Friday, December 12th. When I arrived to pick up my order, they couldn’t find it. Why? Because they put it under the wrong name,(«Pink» instead of «Kate») which took the manager forever to find. I ordered fries and ten wings. The fries were hard and cold; the wings were dried out and overcooked. I live only 10 minutes from Hooters. Food does NOT get that cold that quickly. Nothing was edible. I totally wasted my money and was so irritated! Hooters left a bad taste in my mouth, pun intended.

We come here for the wings and they(typically) never disappoint. These were a tad on the dry side however, definitely could have used more sauce. We asked for extra sauce and I was disappointed to learn I was charged for that when the bill came around. You didn’t put enough on so now I have to pay extra for something you failed to do? As well as the ranch dressing and celery. I mean, c’mon. These are the things that typically are included with wings. I’m surprised I wasn’t charged for my ice water. Seriously though. What makes ranch dressing so special? There’s ketchup on the table. I don’t see a charge for that. I’ve also noticed the prices have increased as well. Now paying nearly $ 1 per wing. At least they’re decently sized, but it’s getting to the point where our hooters visits will be seldom if any. $ 50 for two people for wings and beer is ridiculous.

Wings were delicious! Lotsa tots were ok… Little too soggy for me. Clam chowder was passable. Waitress forgot the buffalo shrimp but recovered quickly. Check took a log time to get. Solid three star meal all around.

I take back everything I said before. Hooters has plummeted as a place to eat in the last few years. I ordered a steak sandwich, fries, and a coke. the cost? almost $ 19. This is a $ 10 meal at best! with so many other places to eat near by… skip this one.

This is my second time at this location. The fried pickles came out hot and were delicious. All of the food we ordered came out smoking hot but it took forever for it to come out. We didn’t mind that much since the food was good and it was hot. Our waitress was really nice and was on top of everything. Much better than the Orland park location in my opinion. The sweet Thai chili sauce for the wings was amazing, it was my first time trying it. I’m definitely coming back here again.

Our first ever hooters experience: We absolutely loved this bar/restaurant! Didn’t know what to expect and especially my wife was a bit worried about going here but it was all good fun. The waitress we had was really cool and the food was pretty good! My wife even bought a shirt here, that was a big surprise to me!
