Lotta meat on the gyros which made it slightly hard to eat… But the flavor was good. Fries were a little on the cold side though.

If you intend to eat at Jimmy K’s the wheezie is the only way to go. I’ll give credit where due, the wheezie was very good. Having said that I have tried them several times and three meals were mediocre at best. After this last visit I will not return. The salad is literally iceberg lettuce roughly chopped with TONS of onion and a single large tomato wedge. The Gyro meat was very hard and chewy, quite obviously had been rotating in the vertical broiler for quite some time, and rather than shave off the bad exterior meat and discard it, they placed it in my meal. I also ordered mozzarella sticks, which were well mozzarella sticks. It’s the marinara sauce I’m commenting on here, it was nothing more than warm tomato paste. If your going to stop into Jimmy K’s try the wheezie otherwise don’t waste your time.

Decent size slice only problem was I ordered sausage and it came with two tiny pieces on it. It has been a day since my review and after thinking about it I had to downgrade my stars this place is average and some of the staff could use basic customer service training

Bottom line up front: disappointing. At first glance, you see the sign and think to yourself, «Ooh Gyros!» So you’re roped in and then reality sets in. The place was practically abandoned(sign #1). The men’s room was filthy(sign #2). The AC was broken(sign #3). So when I ordered the gyro platter, I got a styrofoam container loaded with gyro meat, 2 dense pita loafs, a dollop of Tzatziki sauce, 3 slices of tomato, and 3 slices of onion. It tasted ok but it was really heavy. Definitely not the best I’ve had… and made worse by having to eat it in the sweltering restaurant. For the money, it was not a great value. $ 36 for 3 fast food meals?

I stayed at hotels across the way and was leery since it was not busy. It was cold out, I had a good parking spot and it was a short dash so what the heck. I had the Philly cheese steak with coleslaw and a polish sausage Chicago style. The Philly cheese steak sandwich looked nothing like picture posted and having recently been in Philly area and having a couple of sandwiches while there, I was disappointed. I would recommend the fries and stay away from coleslaw and soup. Coleslaw had a peculiar taste and was sweet my taste buds were not impressed and lemon rice soup well nothing more can be said. The polish Chicago style sausage was tasty. That said front clerk at hotel raved about Jimmy K’s and suggested I give it another try. She twisted my arm and offered me a coupon. LOL I tried it again before leaving town. Glad I did. I had the big wheeze. OHMYGOODNESS now this is a Philly cheese steak Chicago style. I Had the cheese fries too there were AWSOME. The staff is great, service fast I defiantly recommend

Gyro meat was great but the sauce wasn’t that good and they put a TON of it on. Service was slow and not very personable. Food B Service D

Went back week two of business trip. Got buffalo chicken wrap. Pretty mediocre. Coworker got cheesy weezy, said it was good but liked the big weezy from the first time better.

Staff is great, place is clean, great location… But my salad was iceberg lettuce, tomato, lots of onion, and a pita. After adding chicken it was $ 10. I don’t know what it is about this area, but like other restaurants in this price range, the ranch was thinned to almost milk. The owner must be a real cheapskate.

Great little place for fast food if you don’t want McDonald’s. Gyro platter is very large, includes two Pitos and has feta cheese. Not like most places around here which don’t give you feta cheese. My wife enjoyed her Philly cheesesteak sandwich while my children enjoyed their cheeseburgers. Employees and owner were very nice, I would highly recommend. Coupons are available on their menu.
