Sharks Fish & Chicken

I enjoyed getting the chicken tenders at the Miller Beach location so when I saw this place a few months ago after another losing trip at Harrah’s, I knew there would be a time I would order something from Shark’s. That day came and I felt like the chicken tenders were more flavorful at this location than the Miller Beach Sharks. Joliet seems to use a little more lemon pepper in seasoning them. But on the flip side it seemed the tenders at Miller Beach are larger than the ones here. So it’s a toss-​up. Either way the food is very tasty no matter the locale.
I even had a chance to indirectly teach a child some life lessons when picking up my order. So I called ahead as I was leaving Harrah’s and almost breaking even for once. Sharks is less than 5 minutes from Harrah’s so it didn’t take me long to get there. Anyway I sat in my car returning my parents’ call to kill the time.
So after hanging up I go in Sharks to pick up my order. There’s a man with three kids that are sitting inside waiting for their order. I pay for my order and basically the worker presented me with my food. As I walked out one of the kids asked ‘how come he came after we did and they gave him his food right away’. I was half way out the door and completely stepped out before I could hear if the Dad gave a response. I saw the kids look at me as I walked to my car and gave them a nice smile.
Hopefully they learned an early lesson to «CALL AHEAD» if you want your order to be ready once you arrive. Granted they didn’t see me waiting in my car for ten minutes before going in… but whatever. :-)

Fried Catfish, fried Okra, and hush puppies and you are in Heaven. Best catfish and okra I have had since I left the south.
