Slow seating service. It took someone almost 10 minutes to show up to seat me. I was going to give one star if the service was going to slow with my food and drink. I was given a refill for my drink and the waitress did stop by once two check up on things. They earned that second star for the food service.

This is by far, bar none, the worst Denny’s I have ever been to. I stopped by with my nephew a few weeks ago for a quick bite to eat at one in the afternoon. We walked in and the place was empty. There were 5 tables with people seated at them and I counted 4 waiters and waitresses. We were seated promptly, and our drink orders were taken promptly. Our waiter could not seem to get my drink order right. I ordered OJ and he brought me a coke. I figured it was an honest mistake, told him I ordered OJ, and he came back with some other kind of soda. After that I just stuck with ordering water. After our drinks arrived, it took 15 minutes for our waiter to take our food order. If it were busy I could understand… this place was effectively empty. We placed our orders, I got an omelette with hash browns and an English muffin. 45 minutes later and after a whole lot of pestering the wait staff(our waiter kept vanishing) our meals showed up. They served me the wrong omelette, my hash browns were a combination of cold in the middle and burned on the outside, and I was unable to get any of the waitstaff to to bring me the English muffin that I ordered. I would have sent the food back but this appears to be staffed by the kind of people who would gladly do god knows what to your meal if you sent something back to be fixed. In addition, by the time the food arrived I was so pissed off by the experience that I ate what I could, gave my nephew more than enough money to cover whatever the bill may have been, and went to the parking lot to walk and calm down before my famous temper could get the best of me and cause a scene. My nephew finally came out 20 minutes later, gave me the receipt, I jammed it in my pocket. When I checked it later on that day I found that I had been charged for things that were not ordered. My experience at this location was so bad that it has soured me on the Denny’s chain in general. After seeing some of the other reviews of this location it is clear that my visit was not a unique experience or an off day. I could ramble on with even more negative details of this visit but that would take too long. The only positive that I can think of is the fact that I did not get food poisoning.

We didn’t even make it to a table. 10 minutes waiting, during which the host finally appeared and dealt with the super long line paying. Wait staff seemed largely absent and sure didn’t come help out. We left cuz I was sure I was going to say something about it and get spit in my food. This place has a smoking section. It’s a fine throwback to 1973. Denny’s chain, do you even bother with quality checks on your franchisees?

This hands down the worst Denny’s at any Flying J in the nation. If you like sitting down to eat in a smoked filled room. Walking out with your clothes and hair smelling like smoke the this is the place for you. The girl ringing us up told us they have the right to smoke just like she has the right to kill her unborn child through an abortion. I was completely blown away and will never return.
