Very cute museum on the history of Julian. Spans a lot of time and isn’t quite as organized as I would have liked however typical small town museum with a lot of stuff to see. Admission price was perfect $ 3. Felt like you got your moneys worth! Not a ton to do in Julian(not a complaint… we came for a quiet getaway) so this adds a little something to the afternoon.

This little museum is chock full of treasures and could easily expand to a building twice the size. Anybody researching the gold rush time period should go here! We could have spent hours. The $ 3 donation is well worth it.

I really loved this museum. It was the highlight of my trip to Julian. There are many artifacts related to the history of Julian but there is also the bigger picture of history in general. I saw implements designed and used by the founder of Julian. There was a huge exhibit on lace design and creation and many different types of clothing wore by women. I highly recommend this museum for adults and children.
