This is my favorite place to stay when I visit Eugene or Junction City. I’ve always found the rooms to be clean and the folks who run the place are friendly. The rates are real low. I can only talk about my experience with their non-smoking rooms. I’ve always been happy with my stays there. Their non-smoking rooms truly are non-smoking meaning they don’t stink like someone smoked in them at some point long ago. The bathrooms are really weird in that the shower is a tiny and dark space and I’ve never seen anything like it before. There is a refrigerator and working kitchen but no plates or utensils. In all my times staying at this motel the refrigerator has never been fully-on or cold enough to keep things cold and/or frozen. The drapes are super thin and are basically see-through, which is interesting since there’s an alley behind the motel rooms. When I choose this motel I always put extra towels over the see-through drapes so there’s more privacy. It always makes me laugh because fabric is so cheap it would take very little money to make new ones that are more appropriate for a one-level motel. You can park right in front of your room. There’s a Safeway within walking distance of the motel. Junction City is not too exciting as a place to visit but it’s nice that colorful Eugene is nearby. P. S. I think this is the motel the Gideons forgot about as there aren’t any Bibles here. I look each time and there’s just not one to be found. :-(However, if you’re wanting to visit church on Sunday morning I’d personally recommend Christ’s Center in Junction City; service starts at 10:30 a.m.
