The crab stuffed salmon is fantastic! Our party also ate the baby back ribs and prime rib. The atmosphere outside makes this a perfect place for dinner on the North Shore of Oahu.

My favorite place to eat lunch! I love coming to Lei Lei’s Bar and Grill to eat lunch. I usually order the veggie burger with avocado, Caesar salad and extra spicy mayo. I wanted to change it up a bit. This time I ordered the Ham and Swiss Sandwich with avocado and Caesar Salad. The Ham and Swiss Sandwich was very delicioys and juicy. When you go in for that first bit, you have all the ham juices flowing. For me it was difficult to not eat the whole thing. I mean when food is flavorful why would you want to stop?! So I was a good girl and ate all my food. The service was wonderful as always. The server always filled our glasses with the beverage of our choice and check in to see how we were. If you’ve ever been to Lei Lei’s and actually made it to dessert then you will understand why you need to save room for a cookie. If you filled up on your lunch, then I would suggest you take your cookie to go. Take it with you if you’re golfing. Also, they will also fill up your jug/hydroflask with water and ice if you ask nicely! Remember to eat at Lei Lei’s before or after your round of golf at the Palmer or Fazio course!

I cannot praise this place enough. Yes it is on the higher end $$ for a family restaurant; but considering it is in the turtle bay property and their main customers are tourists, it’s sort of expected yet you get what you pay for :) We have been here three times and we keep coming back to it. My boys brought me for my birthday yesterday, were able to make a same day reservation. Amber the hostess was very helpful in getting a table for us. We have had different wait staff take care of us when we have been here and not once have we left feeling like we weren’t taken care of. Yesterday Jenna R was our waitress and she was absolutely amazing, attentive and always with a smile! The entire staff is extremely attentive, detailed, chill vibe and seem to enjoy working at Lei Lei’s. By far the best Mai Tai’s I have had so far while living in Oahu. They have a good selection in the keiki menu and my boys who are very picky eat everything off their plates. The portion sizes are good and with a healthy choice of side veggies :). We will be back soon!

So upset that I cannot order the seafood pasta at 2 pm because it’s on the dinner menu. Bad business in my opinion.

Of all the places to eat at Turtle Bay, Leilei’s was the best and most consistent. It is the casual restaurant at the golf club. We ate many of our breakfasts and dinners there. Did not have lunch, but assume it would be good too. Friendly service, nice atmosphere indoors and outside. Best value and food. Loved their oyster shooters, coconut shrimp, and breakfast croissant. This is the place where all the locals come to eat.

Great atmosphere and generous portions on the pasta and salads, enough to share or take home for later. I tad on the pricey side but the atmosphere makes up for it. Wine selection was pretty good and service was excellent. If you’re vegetarian or vegan this is not the best place to eat as most salads are covered in cheese, egg, bacon or blue cheese. Even the vegetarian pasta has a lot of dairy in it.

The ribs the ribs the ribs! Yes they are so good I had to say it three times! They were recommended by some friends and yes they were as good as they said! It has a beautiful view of the golf course and mountains! Palm trees and all of Hawaii’s beauty to take in as you have a great meal! Drinks are really good also!

Based purely on breakfast… I wouldn’t come back. Located next to the putting green at turtle bay, the restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating with some nice views of the course. I ordered the croissant sandwich($ 9.50) which came with two scrambled eggs, cheese(the individually sliced kind), and choice of meat. It was a good size and tasty. Wish the croissant was toasted more it got soggy. My friend ordered the«cinnamon roll». On the menu they have a disclaimer saying that it’s packaged. So don’t have Cinnabon expectations because you’ll just be disappointed that it’s lacking that ooey gooeyness. The local platter is pretty average for the price($ 12.50) and comes with rice, meat choice, and three scrambled eggs. Overall don’t recommend breakfast here but lunch and dinner menu looked more extensive so I’d give it a try.

My husband and I were concerned with the mixed reviews but decided to go for a late dinner. We started with the crab drip and poke to share. The crab dip was well done and the poke was delicious. For dinner I had the caesars salad with ahi. The Ahi was top grade and the rest! Well you can not really mess up a basic Caesar salad . I would recommend the dressing on the side. The service was perfectly attentive with out smothering us. Our waiter offered to call the shuttle service without us asking. Of course we did not take it! It is two walking blocks from the hotel. I can say, the portion were large and the both of had a take home box!!!

This place got good reviews, so we decided to stop on our way back to Honolulu from the North Shore. Thing is, no one seemed to mention that this is essentially just the restaurant at the Turtle Bay golf course. So, basically you get to watch people at the driving range while you eat — not exactly the high point of Hawaiian views. Our server was really attentive and nice, but even that could’t make up for let down of the ambience and the food. This was a total forgettable meal — if even a little bland. What was good was the fantastic vodka pink lemonade drink our waitress recommended and the coconut shrimp(but really, how do you go wrong with that). I say skip it. There’s a bunch of food trucks further down the road that look to be more of an experience.

Brother and his now wife had their rehearsal dinner here the day before the wedding. The menu was pre-arranged and everything that came out was delicious! Apps: Crab dip with toasted french bread– SO good. I honestly don’t like crab much, but I found myself going for 2nds. and 3rds.and 4ths, well you get the point. Calamari steak– Super crunchy exterior, tasted amazing! Freshly tossed caesar salad– Your average salad. Entrée: I chose the herb crusted chicken breast with roasted garlic cream sauce. Served with garlic smashed potatoes and steamed veggies. Them mashed potatoes though! The chicken breast could’ve been a little crunchier, but the dish was really good overall. Dessert was freshly made cookies with vanilla ice cream. I was ALLOVER on that dessert. I must’ve eaten… like.7 cookies. Fml.

Skip it. This was one of the forgettable meals we had while on property of Turtle Bay Resort, which was surprising given the rave reviews we read and heard from our concierge. Perhaps we ordered the wrong things. The coconut shrimp starter was the only good thing — and sadly my bf doesn’t eat seafood so I was able to fill up on that because my main dish wasn’t good. Our server seemed to just be going through the motions. Didn’t check on us much at all… it was a very quick dinner to be quite honest. I wasn’t impressed with the décor either. The place could use a face lift and the chairs I found to be very uncomfortable. I was surprised a bit, given it’s on the golf course, I expected something a bit more… refined. The stuffed salmon was horrible. The dill sauce was so overpowering, I wish I got it on the side. Literally all I could taste was dill. The fish was cooked well, but the crab stuffing tasted off, sadly. And the texture was too fine, baby food like… not lump crab. It was hard to get down. Bfs steak was that of Outback quality. Which is fine, we eat at Outback(LOL) — but just expected a bit more out of a resort/golf restaurant.

It’s no wonder this is a spot that even the locals go. Service was excellent! My boyfriend and I had just gotten engaged and wanted to sit outside. Our waiter literally got a a table from the back, put it over his head and set up a spot for us outside. The crab cake dip was excellent and gone pretty quickly after a day full of kayaking. The fish of the day was excellent and my fiancé had the steam prepared rare perfectly. Make sure you make reservations at least a couple days in advance. Do not do day of!

I’ve heard that Haleiwa Joe’s has the best prime rib on the North Shore, but I wouldn’t know, because of the 3 times I’ve been there to get prime rib for dinner – they’re always sold out! Lei Lei’s is located deep into North Shore, by the golf course at Turtle Bay. It’s really casual, but with awesome food. Dress up, or don’t, it doesn’t matter. Definitely make reservations, this place can get really busy. I regret that I forgot to take photos of the menu with updated prices. For the appetizers, we had: — Seared ahi sashimi: Really fresh! The color on the ahi was beautiful. Nothing fancy about this dish, just really high quality sashimi. Decent price for the portion. I’d love if they did an ahi katsu! — Crab dip: Soooo good. This comes with sliced little pieces of French baguette bread. They give a really nicely sized dish full of the crab dip. I really loved that the crab dip is almost entirely crab. I hate getting crab dips where it’s 20% crab, 80% artichoke/filler. You really get your money’s worth with this dip! Must order. I *almost* ordered the escargot too, but I wanted to save room for… — 28 oz. bone-in prime rib: After seeing photos of the 28 oz. bone in prime rib on Unilocal,I knew I had to order it. The new price is $ 45 for the 28 oz. bone-in prime rib as of 1÷16÷16. You can get smaller portions for less, but honestly, why not just get the monster one? It comes with your choice of garlic mash or white rice. LOVE their garlic mash, wish it came with a bigger scoop. It also came with a nice portion of steamed veggies – the good kind too, not just broccoli and cauliflower(ew) or some veggies out of a can. Apparently the prime rib is roasted for a whole 24 hours. It was perfectly cooked to medium rare like I asked, and came with an awesome creamy horseradish to accompany it. I usually always order prime rib when I see it on a menu, and this may just be the best prime rib I’ve ever had. Ever. — Double cookie and double ice cream sundae: For $ 10 you get two scoops of high quality vanilla ice cream(with the vanilla bean specks and everything – so fancy) and 4 freshly baked chocolate chip cookies covered in caramel! This was so good! The only thing I can comment on improving is that the cookies were kind of cold. It would have been awesome if the cookies were warm(like freshly out of the oven or at least nuked for a few seconds in the microwave) to contrast the cold ice cream. It was still a simple yet delicious dessert. Service was on point and friendly, the food came out quickly, and the food was awesome. I’m thinking of coming back even when I’m not staying at Turtle Bay.

Definitely stop by if you’re in the area and want a more upscale meal. If you’re staying at Turtle Bay, it’s not too far of a walk! The greeter was incredibly friendly, and so was the waiter. Very prompt, but also easy to converse with. Made us feel very welcomed but without being overbearing. He swiftly showed us to our table, then came back around to take our order. We were seated outside, and thankfully it wasn’t too hot. There were some bugs flying around, which was annoying, but could not be helped. The wait for food wasn’t long, either, which we were incredibly thankful for. This was quite a surprise considering how crowded the restaurant was. The food itself was impressive, and I was quite surprised at how good it was! I had the Escargot to start, and I’m quite the fan of escargot. This escargot was different than what I usually have, with a crunchier, baked cheese atop the platter. The escargot was soft, and the bread that came alongside was it soft, but thick enough to soak up the garlic butter sauce. As for my meal, I had the Crab Stuffed Salmon with Mashed Potatoes and Vegetables. Amazing! The salmon was cooked perfectly, not dry at all. The crab was incredibly tasty, and complemented the salmon and mashed potatoes quite well. I was incredibly glad to see that my vegetables included broccoli among squash and zucchini(I think). I’m a fan of broccoli. Overall, it was a great meal and I would have no problem ordering it again. I also had a taste of that night’s special, which was Mahi Mahi. It was soft and delicious, but I was happy to have chosen the salmon. The overall experience was incredibly positive, and my entire family left satisfied! If I’m lucky enough to come back to Lei Lei’s Bar and Grill, I will. Definitely make a reservation, and come hungry! I left that dinner fuller than I thought possible. I’m a fan of Lei Lei’s! Make that drive to this side of the island and treat yourself!

As a restaurant nestled on the Turtle Bay resort, it serves as both the golf course restaurant as well as another option for resort guests. And having been a resident of Turtle Bay for a few days, I ate at Lei Lei’s as both a golfer and as a resort guest. And both times were okay… good, nothing special. My first trip was for lunch during the turn in my golf round. With my dad and brother, we each enjoyed a quick lunch. Myself, I ordered a fish sandwich which really sounded much better than it tasted. While portions were large and definitely filled the hunger that was rumbling in my belly, I was disappointed by the lack of flavor and dryness of the fish. Probably should’ve gone with the salad my Dad ordered, which looked pretty good. My second trip came when my wife and I decided to make the short stroll from the hotel to the restaurant for dinner. Here, I agree with many other reviews and say that that ahi platter was pretty solid. For dinner, we shared their large cut of prime rib, sliced medium rare. And it was true to its description… thick and meaty. But unfortunately, the boldness of its flavor and tenderness just didn’t match its size. Good, but nothing special. Overall, there really wasn’t anything wrong with my experiences at Lei Lei’s, but there just wasn’t anything about it that warranted a full five-star rating.

Pros Fresh Ahi Platter: The huge platter from the appetizer menu includes three types of ahi: seared, sashimi, and poke. The seared ahi was nicely seasoned and the searing of the ahi was spot on still leaving the inside flesh red and rare. The poke; however, did not stand out and could have used more of a creative seasoning since it tasted similar to the ahi sashimi. Crab Dip: The crab dip is a must order appetizer if you’re dining at Lei Lei’s. They used plenty of crab meat in their drip so each serving was a guaranteed a taste of crab meat. Service: From the hostess to our friendly waiter, they super friendly and provided great service. They were also accomodating since I had special request for seating during the evening.

This is on the Turtle Bay Resort grounds and a signature restaurant located at the entrance of the golf course. A free golf cart ride from the hotel to the resaurant, we were warmly greeted, and seated with 15 seconds. The crab dip appetizer looked oily and greasy but was surprisingly light, had no seafood smell, was not drowning in cheese. and came with lightly toasted thinly sliced french bread(see picture). The drinks(Blue Hawaiian and Tropical Breeze) were brought out quickly and were reasonably strong. The crab salmon was delicious. The veggies were cooked perfectly with just the right of crunch. The fennel cream sauce adds an excellent depth to the salmon crab combo. The salmon was cooked medium and was light and crunchy. The smashed red potatoes were light, creamy, ate paired well with the fennel-salmon-crab combo. Our server, Sina Y. was very responsive, helpful the menu, funny, and overall very amicable. Without a doubt, our best overall meal in the Fabled North Shore.

Have to say that this is one of my favorite restaurants on the island. I’ve eaten at many restaurants from mom and pop shops to 5 star French cuisine. This place by far has always held its consistency w/flavorful food, great value for your $$ and you can always count on friendly smiles and great customer service. They get pretty busy on the weekends and evenings so I would recommend making a reservation ahead of time. They have a great clean facility, great indoor and outdoor seating for groups or smaller parties. It’s my go to spot for pretty much any kind of special occasion or entertaining out of town guests… ok maybe I try to find excuses to go here because it’s so good lol For lunch I normally get their AMAZING Ahi Tuna melt or another fav would be their Veggie Burger which always disappears real quick. I never have left overs after those plates unless I’m sharing lol If I need something light I always get the Caesar and enjoy their iced teas. For dinner I really love starting w/the crab dip which is the best on the island… like THEBEST!!! I then of course already have my lava flow going as I order my next course which would either be their amazing seared ahi Caesar salad… they have the best Caesar Salads!!! If I need something a little more filling I get the stuffed Salmon which you can definitely count on for freshness and wow the portion size can feed 2 lol Yah, that’s how I roll ;) They have great pasta too so depending on what I feel like that day… That’ll determine what I get. Believe it or not my favorite dessert is their signature chocolate chip cookies :) I could easily eat 6 lol They ALWAYS are GREAT… Never once have I ever had a bad cookie from here… I’m so serious! I can’t leave without it… Of course I keep the party rolling w/my leftovers the next day. Did I mention portion sizes woah! If you haven’t tried this place get on over there!
