Is this the same place that has high tea served to you by a ghetto looking person who looks like it’s a hobby or part time job serving two day old scones and warm tea?

Great ambiance and teas. They’re the only game in town. They even do a kids tea party and it’s a real hoot for the lil’ ones!

First time in here. Was waiting on the 30th anniversary showing of Big Trouble in Little China hosted by Maui Comics and Collectibles and NerdWatch, cold as usual and this we my fix. Cutely quaint, very pleasant woman working the counter. Since I didn’t know what I wanted, offered me suggestions. Offered their best seller and her current personal favorite. Went with her favorite Mango Peach White, hot and she steeped it just a little extra for flavor. Needless to say, as teas go — as expected, but this tea served by her made me feel well cozy and happy. I delayed my entry into the theater to finish that cup. With that kind of pleasant demeanor and willingness to indulge an indecisive moment, five stars it is and I will make a trip back to my little visited Maui Mall to see them again.

After my last experience, the owner called me and told me about changes hes going to implement and he invited me back. My husband and I made a date of it and on the return visit i got to meet the owners daughter who helped us pick out and try several teas. It was a total hit! We wound up purchasing four and will be back to get more! As a tea lover, but not really knowing what i liked or didnt, trying them was awesome. I found i liked ones i thought i woukd hate and disliking ones i thought id like. The more i tried the better her suggestions got as she learned what i liked. This will definitely be my place to go for tea.

This place has the best tea. I have never been anywhere else on Maui that even knows how to brew a proper cup of tea. And they serve it to you in proper tea cups! AND the employees are SO super, duper nice! I love this place and really hope they stick around!

The gentleman that was working knew a lot about tea and asked me what kind of tea I like. He recommended this mango tea that turned into one of my favorites. Going back soon to try their tempting desserts!

Not bad at all if you really like tea. A little cramped but probably for good reason– lots of fun random stuff decorating the shop.

I’ve been to Tea Box twice, at their Maui Mall location. Customer service was awesome both times, and my drink is always super duper tasty. :D During this most recent visit I got a raspberry lychee iced tea, and it is probably the best decision I’ll make all day. *thumbs up* :)

I love this place. So I’ll be honest. I’m not the world’s biggest tea fan. I like it okay. I just don’t love it. Enter Tea Box. So I had been hearing that this place was the bomb-from so many people. A friend of mine decided to meet at the Tea Box for a business meeting. Upon walking in, I could tell the vibe was super chill. There were books and board games, people sipping tea and working on laptops. We headed to the counter were I stood like a deer in the headlights. All I wanted to say was: I like mint tea. but it was time to be a grown up. This place had SO many different kinds. The man there helping us starting pulling jars of fresh herbs off the shelves and opening them so we could see and smell the heavenly aroma. He pulled this one and that one, big and small, fruity and minty. Folks, they have it ALL. The counter was covered in delicious smelling jars. Now I was really having a hard time deciding. I feel terrible that I don’t know the man’s name who was helping us. He’s one of the owners-and he’s awesome! I told him what I do/don’t like and he knew exactly how to cater to my exact taste so that I would be happy. He also threw out a few interesting combos to see if I would step out of my box. But, I had to stick with mint after all. It’s my favorite and the smell of the jar made my soul sing. However, with his help, I did kick it up a notch. He recommended: Monks Blend – and – Cream Mint and I went with it. We ordered small pots and a piece of pie and went to sit at our table. Our treats were delivered just moments later and everything looked amazing! The tea was so smooth and flavorful. It’s a perfect place to chat, chill or work. On our way out, the female store owner told us that we could have gatherings or group meetings there anytime. They are open daily from 10 – 9 and have room! A few days later I brought my(non tea drinking) husband in and we polished off another pot of of cream mint. So pumped about this little gem – and it’s right in town!

This is my first time here and I wasn’t sure what to order. I wanted an ice cold tea. The tea that she suggested to me was Strawberry Kiwi Fruit Tea. I must say the tea was amazing! They have a lot of varieties for you to choose from.

Tea box just became my new fav place to have an unbirthday tea party… I love the location, very convenient, parking is not a problem. I love the set up of the table, you get to smell diff kine of tea herbals selections they have. They do keep it local with the maui flavors. The girls that work there makes you feel welcoming & relaxed. Their strawberry kiwi ice cold tea is amazing. I had the Roobios Mango Hot Tea & i have to say i want more… This place makes me wanna say goodbye to Starbucks & just go there all the time. Its not crowded at all & thats a good feeling of not being rushed.

I am a huge fan of tea shops since I can replenish out add to my supply of tea. I have found many tea shops on the mainland and in Europe, but I didn’t know Maui had one until recently. The Tea Box is a family run shop, and they not only sell tea, pastries, fudge, tea pots, etc, but they have lots of vintage pens/pencils/books/journals/etc for sale too. They also offer a high tea which I need to check out. The selection of tea is varied, and they have a menu which describes each flavor and organizes them by type of tea. The numbers of tea I would say is medium. They had the basic teas I love, and they have been great so far. There are a few specialty blends that are specific to other shops that I would not expect then to have, which is fine, but they more than adequately cover my favorite types of tea. The tea room is set up with small tables ave comfortable chairs, and the store smells amazing when you walk in. One thing I really liked was that they brewed my tea for the amount of time necessary for that tea, and on the bag they wrote the time and temperature for steeping it at home.

Where else on Maui can you choose from a top variety and flavor of teas? Very warm and welcoming ambiance with modern and quaintly chic décor. What a perfect location too as you can catch a movie before or after or even just go to read and/or people watch. This is a great spot for young professionals to relax and unwind without the distraction of loud music or newly minted 21 year olds, if you know what I mean. Check this place out! Super friendly service too.

Staying at a nearby hostel for our first night in Maui, we were out strolling around and happened upon this place. Glad we did! Super friendly staff so encouraged us to hang out and have a pot of tea, which, by the way, was amazing! I think we had the darjeeling, I can’t recall, but it was really good and we enjoyed the chill atmosphere and unhurried pace. Definitely two thumbs up.
