The pizza is delicious — there’s no getting around that. However, it is SUPERLOUD with the employees shouting the orders, calling for pickup, the music, and concrete floors with metal ceiling. We eat the pizza at Blaze all the time, but unfortunately it is always to go — the volume is honestly ridiculous.

Blaze serves up thin crust pizza with unlimited customization options. Is the pizza good? Yes. Is it a place I’m going to recommend for date night? No. This place is the chipotle of the pizza world. They do a good job of pulling customers through the lines but be ready to wait 30 minutes when the lines are long.

Pizza is very good and well priced. It’s nice you can add whatever you want and anyone I’ve taken there has loved it. I don’t typically like thin crust but their’s is fantastic.

Absolutely delicious and a must try. You can build your own or they have 8 or so signature pizzas you can try. My husband and I went for a signature. I had the white top and he had the meat lovers without onions. Service was great and the wait wasn’t bad at all for a busy weekend. They assemble your pizza right in front of you and it’s ready in a few minutes. The standard crust is thin but they also have a thick crust and gluten free. Can’t wait to try it again!

I decided to go here for lunch today. Second time I’ve been here, I had forgotten how spicy the spicy sauce is, Its a great new concept, kind of like a version of Subway but faster and easier to order. The ingredients are fresh and vibrant. We will most definitely be back!!!

I always do build your own, they have gluten free dough & vegan cheese, if you opt for vegan they even cut your pizza with a different pizza slicer. Love how fresh this is and how many options you have! It’s not a carb overload on dough and its oven baked. I love fresh and healthy options. If I’m in Kalamazoo I love stopping by if I’m in the mood for pizza. They are generally under 10 dollars and a nice size ! Shareable for sure

Been there 5 – 6 times since they opened. Each time I ve gotten something new, or made a customized pizza. I have always had wonderful service from friendly staff, a yummy variety of toppings and a wonderfully delicious pizza. The décor is very industrial/shabby chic. The line tends to move pretty fast. So don’t let the lunch rush line scare you into not eating here. It’s fast and yummy. Try the smores sandwich dessert. So yummy!

So you say I can create my own pie with endless quality toppings all for 8 bones and under 5 mins? Yup, but it’s not just the concept that’s brilliant but the follow through that makes this place so intriguing. Phenomenal pizza completely catered to each’s own palate. Add the fun upbeat staff and you got a real pizza pie game changer. Just wish Grand Rapids, Mi would open one so I could be within closer proximity.

Extra basil, extra mushrooms, extra cheese! Heaven! Don’t feel shy to ask for more of an item, it’s your creation. But for real, worth it! The employees are great too.

I try to avoid national chain restaurants, but we tried this once and thought it was good. Since we’re vegan, eating pizza at restaurants(outside of major cities, that is) usually means we either get a cheeseless pizza, or bring our own vegan cheese for the restaurant to put on top before baking it. Blaze has vegan cheese as a standard offering, along with lots of interesting toppings that you don’t see at most local pizza joints. The pizzas were about $ 8 and sized to be eaten by one, so everyone customizes their own with whatever(and as many!) toppings they like. The crust was kind of unremarkable and the service model a bit uncomfortable upon first visit, but for the price and the quality it’s a decent value. Will go back again for more.

I am honestly surprising myself that I’m giving 5 stars to a quick-serve restaurant but I like their pizza and I like that I get it FAST. Most of the time I get classic pepperoni, and you can’t go wrong with that. The pizzas are thin crust and a decent size: as a person with a hearty appetite, I can eat the entire thing myself … nom nom! I’d much rather get a 1-topping pizza here for $ 6 bucks vs. a Hot N Ready from Little Caesars. Most of their other pizzas are about $ 7.50 which I think is really affordable compared to something like California Pizza Kitchen who is giving you about the same amount of pizza for nearly double the price.

First time we’ve had a chance to go, after hearing about it from a friend months ago… And I wish I’d have gone sooner. The staff was helpful, if not fun. They walked us through the process, which is simple, and I think each person along the way thanked us for coming in. That was cool. As advertised, the pizza was done in about 180 seconds… Once it was cooled a bit and cut probably five minutes tops. The toppings seemed to be fresh, and were certainly flavorful. If you want more of something, just ask… No problem. Overall, we really enjoyed the whole experience… We’ll certainly make it a point to go back when were in the area again.

Fantastic for fast-casual dining! I tried the green stripe pizza(pesto, chicken, roasted red pepper and arugula) and it was excellent, A nice thin, almost cracker-like crispy crust topped with good-quality ingredients all for $ 8 and plenty big enough to share. Th signature pizzas all sounded enticing but they do all customization through a build-your-own option. The pizza is cooked very quickly especially considering it was very busy when we went in. Great option for a quick tasty meal.

I love this place. It is very simple, yet very good and fast. We both did the build your own and mine was meat heavy and spicy. My brides was vegan and bold. They offer prebuilt if you simply can’t make up your own mind and need help. But do the build your own it’s fun and caters to your needs. The staff is pretty good here but not as good as the Blaze locations in SoCal. The pizza however is every bit as good. Love the pizza and the concept.

Finally had the chance to stroll over to Blaze for lunch and I’m glad I did. It’s like a custom sub shop, but with PIZZA instead! Yes, please. This industrial-chic casual dining restaurant is hoppin’! Don’t let the line fool you, they’re super fast workers. Their employee assembly line seems to have great synergy as they take you through all of the steps for your DIY pizza. Honestly, the slowest thing about this place is the customers! You’ll find an array of choices behind the counter included sauce types, cheeses, veggies, fruit, herbs and spices… The only standard item appears to be the thin crust dough every pizza is made with. «All these options? Sounds like a headache, just make me a pizza.» No problem! Blaze has several determined pizzas you can order if you’d like. The only thing I see as a problem at places like these; i.e. mongolian bbq; where you create your own food is that you can easily ruin your own meal by over-doing it with the ingredients. If you are not that skilled at combining flavors, keep it simple, get one of the specialties they list.

This is a great addition to the Kalamazoo pizza scene. You basically get to make your own pizza creation. I think it took about 5 minutes of cooking time until the pizza was done. The pizza itself is all thin crust and its pretty dang good. Fast pizza that hits the spot is a plus in my book.

So I have have came on the wrong day, it was March 14th(Pi Day) so all of their pizzas were $ 3.14 and the line was out the door, and for good reason too! The restaurant location is convent and connected to a cute little strip mall so you can get some other things while your out too if you need. The inside was pretty cool. I loved the wood tables and stools, and the lighting was pretty cool too. definitely a more hip restaurant thats for sure. The pizza was pretty bomb too. I got a build your own pizza, there is no variation of different crusts but thats A-OK. Spicy red sauce(i like spicy, but this was really spicy! i recommend getting half a scoop spicy and half regular.) Chicken, Ham, Oregano, spinach, red onions, chopped garlic, and after a quick 3 minute cook in the fire oven i added a drizzle of their BBQ. I believe the regular price for their pizza is around $ 5, but for the favors and quality i will FORSURE be coming back here!

I’ve got to throw the BLAZE a fiver. I hadn’t heard of or ever seen a Blaze«Fast-Fire’d» Pizza restaurant before but the orange sign grabbed my attention from the street and beckoned me in to take a closer look. Inside the door I could see the line forming(a good sign) to order up a «build your own pie» almost like you would at a Subway. Blaze’s selection of toppings was fabulous… your choice of three sauces, four cheeses, a host of meaty selections and a sea of vegetables. I thought«very cool» and all for only $ 6.95 each — including as many toppings as you would want! I tested them with a special request for double sauce and the gal preparing my pizza gladly accommodated my request. I chose the mozzarella, a little goat cheese and a dash of parmesan from the cheese department. Sliding down the counter, I added pepperoni, sautéed onions, fresh red onions, a good dose of ‘shrooms, cherry tomatoes and a hit of pineapple to add just that right amount of sweetness! I was amazed at the time in the oven… literally it seemed like 3 or 4 minutes! You gotta love the cook slipping the pies into the oven with long wooden-handled utensils… just like they used to do in the old coal-fired brick ovens. As I ate my delicious pizza in the comfortable if spartan dining area, the line kept forming. Blaze literally was making pizzas as fast as they could make them the entire time I was dining there. The line to order never subsided. At a very attractive price, a great product in comfortable surroundings, Blaze Pizza is a hit in K-Zoo. A little more online research revealed 3 others in Michigan including Novi and Royal Oak. Highly recommended.
