Drugs, cockroaches, angry owners/​employees. Absolutely disgusting. Bad neighborhood too. Avoid at all costs.

Upon arrival past regular business hours we got to the bulletproof glass and paid the scared kid working through the hole in the glass… He gave us only one key and scurried away not telling us where our room was. Walking up the stairs we notice a giant construction road cone keeping us from stepping on the multiple broken stairs was a good sign that Safety first is a motto of the establishment. The room had a certain quirkiness that only a mother could love. The latch lock was broken on the door, always a good sign. After a thorough inspection of the room for dead hookers, we decided that we were going to require more alcohol to sleep here. We headed out to Happys pizza and procured more beverages. Once back we noticed a patron with bloody gloves sleeping outside one of the rooms. Assuming they just needed fresh air we went back up past the road cone to our room. I had to pee, so I headed to the bathroom and flipped up the cigarette burnt toilet and to my surprise it wasn’t attached. Now we did t realize a show was starting in the room over. We promptly got our complimentary plastic cups and used them to listen through the wall to the disappointing sexual escapades of room 214. Well… we brought our own pillows and blankets because there was no way were sleeping in those blankets. After safely putting a chair in front of the door, I fell asleep comfortably with the bible provided and my knife by my side. I had a dream about my van being stolen and that helped me wake up early. I promptly picked up the buttonless phone and pressed where 0 would be to call the lobby. To my dismay they didn’t offer a continental breakfast… Well… we left soon after… I mean no breakfast?

Blood stains on mattress, shady people who live there will hussle you, I held my razor in the shower for fear of disease. When I went to the bathroom sink there were tiny black hair stubbles in the sink. I know they were not mine! I did I mention someone must have had ummm a heavy period flow on the bed… Ya I had to sleep over the stains.

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay, this is not your place. In fact, if that had been the purpose of my stay, they would have recieved 1 star.
However, if you are looking for a cheap place to crash during your travels that will provide you with a private bath and a bed to call your own for the night, this is a deal. With a AAA discount I believe I paid just under $ 50 for the night. The place is very noisy, not super clean — yet not totally disgusting and there’s a good chance there will be something missing from the room (linens, toiletries, tv not working, etc)
