Absolutely love this little gem of a place. Everything is homemade and VERY fresh, not to mention delicious, and bonus… they serve beer and wine! Definitely will be a regular spot for us and a great place for people passing through.

Stopped in on my way home from fishing in the Uintas for the morning. The Kings Peak Fried Steak was the best fried steak I’ve ever had!

Our original intention was The Gateway Grille; however, they were closed so we backtracked to Mirror Lake Diner. Overall, it was a great experience. I ordered a Rueben which I wanted grilled dry. They did and it was a great sandwich. It wiuld have been a 5 star visit but my husbands burger was under the heat lamp for a substantial amount of time leaving him a soggy bun and fries. Service was attentive and restaurant and restrooms were clean. Will definitely return.

Excellent breakfast! Fast and attentive service. Try the buttermilk pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup or the Eggs Benedict Florentine. Yummmmm We definitely will return for breakfast again and want to try lunch and dinner too! Good prices and just 12 minutes from Park City.

This is our go to place when we are looking for a friendly and welcoming environment with a great menu. We have very picky eaters and we can always count on everyone being satisfied with their selection. The food is always consistently enjoyable. The staff is also very friendly and on point.

I actually went here twice this weekend and loved it. The service was great and the food as well. I got the B.L.A.S.T which was great I highly recommend the house cut fries. We went for breakfast and it was equally delicious as lunch. We felt like this place fit the feel of the small town and cured our craving for that small town diner meal!

The staff is great, especially Shea. They are often understaffed and work hard not to let you know. Awesome breakfast, ok lunch.

This place totally hit the spot on a rain-soaked, Monday morning coming back from a Mirror Lake camping trip. The morning that we arrived, they handled our large, damp group well and with smiles on their faces. Their coffee, hot chocolate, and clam chowder was pretty good. The hot chocolate was spilling over the sides of the cups, which makes it look good, but also poses a risk of dripping on to your clothing. We ordered it for our kids, and that made their hands pretty sticky. The staff was actually really friendly and we enjoyed our waitress. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the bathrooms are clean. I decided to only rate this 3⁄5 stars for the following reasons. –1 star because the service was unconventionally slow. We did have a larger group of 9, so I can understand it taking a little more time, but even then, it took about an hour to get our food. My guess is that on a Sunday morning, they usually don’t keep a full staff around. Also towards this is that they forgot to bring out some of the order for a couple people and didn’t refill our waters the entire time we were there. Considering the other high ratings for this place, I’m guessing this is not the norm and something you usually don’t have to worry about. –1 star because the tables we were sat at were sticky and there was mushed food scattered in a few places below our tables. I took a glance around to see if this was normal, and it seemed that for the most part the floors were clean. It’s possible that before us there’d been a family with kids. As part of this star as well, the food didn’t really stand out to me all that much. Most people’s bacon and eggs were overcooked. My wife who never asks for food to be taken back asked for different bacon because her’s was actually burned black and crumbled at the touch. The food was standard café fair and didn’t have a lot of flavor Overall, I was delighted that there was a place open on a rainy, Sunday morning that could handle 9 weary travelers. I had a net positive experience there. If I were in the situation again, though, I would probably look first to see if another place were open. If not, I wouldn’t be put out to come back again.

Great food and service! I got the French toast sandwich with ham and Swiss, my husband got the country fried steak. Fabulous!

It’s because of restaurants like these that I could give half stars. This is a 3.5 stars joint but I do what I was taught in school… I rounded up. Here are some of the positives of the mirror lake diner. The place is clean and decorated nicely with local artists’ paintings on the walls etc. our booth was clean and the whole place has a nice vibe to it. The service was friendly and quick so there is nothing to complain about there. As far as the food, it was about a 3.0. I had a chicken sandwich on a ciabatta bun. The chicken was cooked well, but the bun was a little soggy. We tried the fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. The onion rings and sweet potato fries were good but my fries were a mix of soggy and super crisp. Almost like potato chips. My biggest complain though is this. They nickel and dime you for everything. For example to add avocado on my sandwich cost a $ 1.25. BBQ sauce cost money to put on your burger. It cost extra for sautéed mushrooms on a Philly cheesesteak. I would rather them just charge a little more but include everything. I would go back because I like supporting local establishments, but the food was not over the top delicious.

We’ve passed by so many times and never stopped but today we did and I’m so happy! My tummy is rejoicing! In our party of 5, each of us absolutely loved our meals. Biscuits and Gravy were legit — delicious homemade gravy and hash browns. The Crack of Dawn was a favorite as well as the tortilla soup. Everything was fresh, quick, and delicious. The owner and server couldn’t have been nicer. We’ll be back soon!

Great food! We stopped in after a morning hike, just looking for some lunch. The menu is 100% diner, but all very good. There were four of us, and we split four sandwiches. Tuna salad, patty melt, Reuben, and a turkey club special. All were terrific! And the sides didn’t disappoint either. The cucumber salad was fresh, and the fries were flavorful and not too greasy. You won’t find anything unusual on the menu, but it will certainly be delicious! Also, they have a changing table for babies in the women’s restroom!

This place is good. The atmosphere is unique. The portions are huge. It’s al title expensive, but the food is fresh and worth the extra cash. I had the breakfast burrito. I got it w/o cheese as i don’t like it. It was a little dry and the salsa was not homemade. There were fire roasted peppers and onions in it which added a nice flavor. Hubby had the chicken fried steak and he let me try a bite. At that moment I knew I had made the wrong menu choice. His breakfast was amazing and we would return for that chicken fried steak. Yep it was that good. I’m a goodie, but not hard to please. If you in the area, I would recommend this place for a good breakfast.

We stopped in here on our way up to Provo River Falls and thought the food was delicious. My wife and I ordered the large breakfast burrito and shared it. It was so good I could have eaten it all by myself. Not heavy like a regular burrito. Fresh veggies inside. Two thumbs up for Mirror Lake Diner

This was a pretty solid experience for being basically the only brunch shop in town on a Sunday. Breakfast is incredibly filling, service is friendly. Mirror Lake Diner used to be the Yolk many moons ago. I remember the food being alright when it was a different restaurant but I hadn’t been into the new spot until recently. This is Kamas, and the dining options are limited. If you don’t want a burger and fries on Sunday, you’re probably heading to Mirror Lake Diner. That being said, you’re probably making a good choice as well. I ordered the Greek omelet with egg whites. I subbed out the sides and got sliced tomatoes instead. I also ordered a side of bacon because bacon and because protein. The omelet was a pretty good size and was stuffed with spinach, tomatoes, feta and olives. It was not too large but enough to leave me full. With some salt, the tomatoes were on point. And the bacon? It was just the right amount of crispy but also meaty, but not too meaty and undercooked that it just flops on your plate. The servers here are really personable and friendly. It seems like pretty much everybody knows everyone else here which is a pleasant atmosphere. Prices can be a little steep but are typical of a standard brunch place. The omelet was $ 11. Would totally come back for breakfast!

Great food and service. Got our meal to go and it was prepared quickly. We substituted fries instead of chips and salsa on the side and I think we got up charged for that and ended up paying over $ 15 for a chicken wrap and fries. It was good sized and delicious, but my only complaint would be the price.

Stopped in on our way up to Mirror Lake and boy was this place hopping. Lots of bikers and families in for Sunday brunch. The menu has the usual breakfast suspects along with some inventive ones like the Croque Monsieur with blackberry syrup. There’s a limited kids menu but unfortunately if your kid is a solid eater it won’t fill their tummies. The $ 9 omelettes, however, come with potatoes and a pancake so its plenty for bigger bellies. Our server was sweet and attentive but we think they forgot our order! Even after standing in line to get a table(they don’t seem to write names down), we waited over 30 minutes to get our food. Once we started eating, no complaints. The breakfast food was delish and NOTGREASY. Yay!

Stopped in after camping this last weekend. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. They were pretty busy so the service was a little slow otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Eggs done perfect. Hash browns were done just right. The CFS was excellent from the crunch to the delicious gravy. If you are up in the Uintas near Kamas I would recommend stopping in.
