It’s a solid choice for Japanese curry, but it ain’t no Curry House. This particular location is attached to Phở Factory, so you order there during off hours because they’ll close the storefront of Curry Café. I ordered a Japanese chicken Katsu curry(played it a little safe) and a Thai tea with boba. The curry here is the consistency of curry in soup. So it’s pretty runny– which isn’t bad, but not my preference. You get a couple large chunks of potato and carrot and a heap of rice with chicken Katsu. There are no special pickles, unfortunately but the curry tasted OK. Like its not super special, but I ain’t mad at it. I’d eat it if there’s nothing else, you know? It’s around $ 9 for a huge portion which isn’t bad and you can upgrade it to a combo for two dollars, though the menu kinda neglects so specify what EXACTLY makes the meal a combo– you should probably explain that to customers! The Thai tea was pretty good with solid, chewy boba which is why this review gets an extra star. Wait staff are generally helpful but seem a bit apathetic(maybe because of the mall location?) but I might choose another mall vendor next time, or I might try their phở instead.

Not a bad place for Japanese curry if you’re in the mood for it at the mall. The chicken katsu curry is a safe choice.

One word to describe the curry katsu dish — YUCK. My husband and I took one bite and tossed the rest of it. The chicken was extremely thin and dry. Sadly, I don’t think this place will last very long.

Had the chicken katsu curry, and for the price you get LOTS of food. Taste is pretty good, and store looks clean. They have a huge piece of chicken katsu, which pretty much covered the entire pâté. I had to order from the Phở side, so i think its the same owners.

Haven’t been to Windward Mall for awhile and I was excited to see this new Curry place when I walked in. I ordered the lemon grass beef curry. The beef was very tasty and tender, but the curry was a watery, tasteless mess. I like thin curry but this was water thin with just a hint of lemongrass and coconut flavor. Very disappointed– even more disappointing was the one small piece of carrot and one tiny piece of potato in the curry water. Not worth the $ 9 I spent.
