When I was at Windward Mall this past Sunday, on my way to buy some veggies at the Farmers Market, I passed by this company at the top of the escalators. I stopped, turned around, and looked at the brick-​sized kulolo… That buggah is huge!
Hanalei Taro & Juice Co. is a relatively new company at this air conditioned Farmers Market — just started here about 3 weeks ago. The friendly couple invited me to try samples of everything: the Kulolo (yum!!!) and the Taro Hummus (good!!) were the standouts!
I will for sure return and get some fresh poi, taro mocha, and taro veggie burger! Go check them out when you’re on the Windward side!
