Panda Express

This location always seem to not have much food options. Other then that it’s just like any other panda express.

I used to really like this place but lately I haven’t been too impressed. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. However, they seem to always have only part of the menu to choose from and running out of the rest. Plus side, u get freshly cooked food, minus side, u have to wait an extra unexpected 10 minutes.

…I’m a regular customer here and i usually get the panda bowl. Didn’t realize how expensive the prices are until I requested to get a panda bowl with just half fried rice and half chow fun. The lady said it’s the same price as getting a panda bowl with meat choice. She said I should just order a side fried rice and side chow fun because it’s the same price. I told her it would be too much for me to eat. Anyhow although I didn’t get anything else in my panda bowl besides starch, she charged me almost $ 8. When I got back to my office to eat it I realized that I was ripped off because she charged me regular price but didn’t even bother to fill the bowl. =(
I wish they were a bit more accommodating for people like myself. Oh well I’m sure others would say I shouldn’t even eat out if I’m that complicated. LOL! I give this place 3 stars because when they bag my food and had it to me it’s practically tilted side ways and my bowl was a mess. A few other times when I ordered the to go plates, my rice is all over the plate inside and doesn’t look appetizing. I prefer my plate upright and handed to me nicely and not as if I’m buying grocery.

This windward mall location is certainly very friendly and courteous.
The staff greets you as you walk in and completes your order fast and accurate, they also give a lot in terms of size portions:)
I’ve also discovered their kids size meals which satisfies my hunger level! It comes with 1 starch and 1 serving of beef broccoli or any of your choice. A small drink, and a cookie:) no kids toys included though.
I believe it was around $ 6 for a kids meal
I don’t eat much so this is perfect!
Will be returning soon, maybe this weekend!
All in all, a great place for eats!
Lastly, they have a visible Green Pass sign from the board of health, and that really does matter in my book!

Here’s just a few problems that I noticed about this place. They under serve you. The food was overcooked, and there selection was limited. On a brighter note, their customer service was ok. I wouldn’t recommend this place for dinner though.

Like other Panda Express locations, this one is quick with getting out your food for a great price. Even if the choice needs to be prepared because the pan is empty, they will make it quickly. A great mix of dishes to choose from despite missing some of my favorites of the cuisine. Fair prices for the amount of food you get as well so no complaints there.
You also get a fortune cookie with your meal, if you’re into that sort of thing.
4 stars for the practicality (is that a compliment in this business?) and quality.

We could never go wrong with Panda Express. There food is good and the service is always quick, no matter which location.
We just so happened to be here at Windward Mall to check out the T-​Rex Planet exhibits.
The facility is a bit small but waiting for a table didn’t take long and if your lucky you’ll find a table in the middle of the mall by the kids play area.
Staffs are very friendly and quick with their service. When one staff got occupied with one customer, another staff was quick to assist us.
Overall good experience.

My husband loves Panda Express. He always gets orange chicken no matter what. I really like their walnut shrimp and their Kung Pao chicken. Usually this location is clean and whenever we go in their food doesn’t look like it’s been sitting out all day. We like that even when it’s busy the staff keeps the line moving and the food full.

I’m a fan of any Panda location. Just enjoy their chow fun, orange chicken, mushroom chicken, honey sesame chicken, eggplant tofu… and so on and so on. This is as good as fast food Chinese gets! Great flavors and they keep adding new items to their menu.

I love Panda Express but the service tonight was absolutely ridiculous and to top it off my husband and I were the only ones in line.
Before we even reached the counter I felt rushed. I had a hard time deciding because everything they featured was nearly empty and by the looks the cook had no plans on cooking and replenishing anything, I even asked if they were making more beef broccoli but I guess they didn’t here me cause nobody moved, if my husband wasn’t sooo hungry we would’ve left.
The male behind the counter was quick to hand us samples of what seems to be the smallest pieces he could find and believe me he took his time trying to find the smallest piece of what didn’t even seem to be the main ingredient in the dish (you don’t serve the potato in the surf n turf for a sample) If that wasn’t bad enough he kept pushing us by asking what can I get for you? How can I help you? I would’ve understood if there were people waiting behind me but please give your guest some time to think, deciding where to eat was tough enough.
Then when we finally get our minds made up, they begin by taking my order for my side, then my husband and then my daughters, so we move along in that order, the second counter person grabs the third plate from the guy and asks me what choices i would like this is when I asked for the second time about the beef broccoli, the cook then hustles back to the reefer and pulls out a bag of what appears to be orange chicken, shake my head I make another choice which suppose to have been mushroom chicken but not really looking like their usual. My daughter is next, they put her first choice and i realize wait a minute thats my plate. So she attempts to fix my plate, she walks back to the rice and stuff then comes back and asks me again what my choices were and she even wrote it on the plate. She comes back with something totally different, at this point I am quite upset cause we haven’t even completed my order and my husband is still waiting, his sides are getting cold. Anyway, they finally get it right.
Everything in order, we start to indulge. I am so disappointed with my selection and already upset. The beijing beef is my usual and this time it was so HOT I couldnt even eat it and the mushroom chicken with chicken scraps was drowning in its sauces and the zucchini was drenched and soggy. I had lost my appetite.
In the attempt to get my money back, the manager insisted on a coupon for a 2 entrée plate. NO Thanks I just want my money. So after she continues to take care of her line, she gives me back my money and then states «Miss, after all your trouble you can keep you plate.» Really! So what makes you think that if I don’t want to eat it now, I will eat it later!
I will continue to eat Pandas and yes I will also go back to Windward Mall just to see if this review has helped improve your service and your food,

The Windward Mall Panda Express was clean and delicious. I walked in and my son was giving me a bad time, and it was still service with a smile. I was impressed.

My wife LOVES Panda Express.
Is it salty? Yes.
Is it greasy? Yes.
Is it good for you? Not in the least.
Is it delicious? DEFINITELY! Because sometimes you’re in the mood for Chinese fast food and Panda Express fits the bill.
This particular location (Windward Mall) is clean, usually not very crowded and the service has always been friendly.

I really love the food at Panda Express but this is my least favorite location.
The food here is usually almost always good. The line isn’t usually very long since it’s away from the food court, which is a plus, but I feel like the service is so inconsistent.
Since I work a few stores down, it’s the one of the closer places for me to get food when I’m on break. I came here two days in a row ordering the same thing, a panda bowl, and the second day I was charged a dollar more. I’m not sure why the price was different as my receipt didn’t list some sort of extra charge nor discount.
They also often forget to give me the fortune cookie. I’d say 4 out of 5 times I don’t get it and I’ll have to ask for it if I really want it.
Other than that, the place tends to be pretty clean when it’s not crowded, but in my opinion, I’d rather go to any of the other Panda Express restaurants.

This is a review for the Panda Express at Windward Mall. It’s located on the first floor across the Pet Shop by Borders.
Although it’s away from the food court this place is usually always busy. What I like about it is that the food is always fresh, the workers are friendly and helpful, and it’s always clean.
It’s Chinese fast food, but it’s done well for fast food.
