Starbucks

During a recent trip from Ala Moana to Haleiwa, I stopped in Kaneohe because it was raining and I saw Starbucks through the bus window. I figured that I could get off for up to two hours and get back on the bus, so I did.
This isn’t a huge location, but I was able to find a seat next to an outlet. There was a very beautiful woman next to me and she might have been 20.
The barista named Kat helped me and she was very nice. I wanted organic peanut butter and chocolate cups, but they were out of them, so I settled for hot water and I made my own organic coffee.
This was a busy location and many people came and went during the 90 minutes or so that I was there. However, the line moved very fast, so I was able to get a couple of refills without waiting.
The bathroom is free and open to the public without a key or code. It is located next to several stores (e.g. grocery store, restaurant, Post Office, etc.). I may return because it will likely be on my way to and from the North Shore.

I love their service at this Starbucks! Shelli is awesome and so are a couple girls that always know my drink and are so friendly. It’s awesome to go to a Starbucks almost daily and they remember your name despite the hundreds of people that go thru their line. I am very impressed as I have been to many of the other locations and NO ONE ever remembers my name yet even my drink so I never expect the other locations to remember.
The staff at this location is awesome a dndefinitely makes my day especially when I’m here before I get into my office! Love the smiles and great service!

Been here a handful of times for the convenience of its location within the mall. I’ve ordered multiple iced coffees, caramel frappucinos and today I tried an iced green tea latte. All have been very bland. I’d rather travel across the street to the drive-​thru Starbucks where their drinks are better made and more consistent.

The service is bad, I just don’t like giving a large bill and getting a whole bunch of $ 5.00 bills for my change. I know money is money, but when I just saw the previous customer give a $ 20 bill and they told me they don’t have any 20s, that is rude. They looked at me with a FU face like they can’t or don’t want to do anything about it. Are they too lazy to count smaller bills? I believe if they have 20s, they should give it up first. I just don’t like carrying a whole bunch small bills when I could have larger ones instead.

I frequent various Starbucks locations to know what their standard of service is and I can tell you that this Windward Mall location is not a good representation of what you should expect in a Starbucks. The drink quality is the same but the customer service by its staff is below par.
The number out times I’ve been here, they’ve always been unfriendly. At first, I thought that they were just having a bad day, but I decided to try this location again due to its convenience of being in the mall, and they disappointed me again. The workers ignore you and rather finish their (non-​work related) conversation between themselves first before helping the customer.
My first experience here was horrible. Starbucks was honoring a bonus star if I put my order in through the app. I’ve never done this before and asked the worker for help. He wasn’t friendly about it and basically told her me wasn’t totally sure either so I had to figure it out by myself. Once I put in the order, I asked him if he got the order (since I was already standing in front of him) and he told me that as long as I put he order in on my side, it’s in the system. So… I guess I got my answer indirectly. All in all, horrible service and I don’t recommend coming to this location when the workers at the location literally across the street are 10x nicer.

Let me preface this by saying — I am a Starbucks whore. I absolutely love my Starbucks, and patronize this location at least three times a week (I work in the mall three nights a week, and we live two minutes away from here).
That being said — I received an email the other day, which said that I would receive an extra star if I used their mobile ordering thing. I tried to use it once before, and my drink was all wrong. Suffice it to say, I was a little hesitant but figured I’d give it another go. I waffle between drinks, depending on my mood. Yesterday, I was in a hot tea sort of mood. My go-​to tea drink is the emperor’s clouds and mist, but with only one tea bag. I also adore the butter croissant, toasted (of course!). I went to the counter to pick up my order, and there is no line. I’m pretty happy, thinking I’ll be on my way quickly. However, the two workers behind the counter have other things in store for me. They decided that their conversation was more important than servicing the paying customer in front of them. They proceed to have their conversation, all the while I’m standing there waiting to interrupt. I finally get an acknowledgment, and I tell them that I wanted to pick up my order. As previously stated, my last mobile order experience wasn’t the best, so I wanted to be sure that it was accurate this time around… it wasn’t. There were two tea bags floating in my tea, and my croissant was burned. I explained that I had ordered my tea with just one tea bag, and yet there were two. The barista (a tall, white girl) started giving me attitude, telling me that I must’ve ordered my drink wrong because that’s what the label said. I showed her the order on my phone, and she decides now to blame the label, and proceeds to ask me what I wanted. At this point, I’m pretty upset. I asked her to please remake my drink, which she did with a lot of slamming. I stormed away, taking my cup and package. Only when I got upstairs to my job did I realize I forgot about the burnt croissant! Oh well, suck it up, right?
Fast-​forward to today — I decide to try again (after all — bonus stars!). Exact same order, exact same person working. It was busier, as today is the malls open market day, and there was a line of about five people. Thank goodness for mobile ordering, right? Wrong. I walked up to the barista and waited until she had finished the drink she was working on. I explained that I was there to pick up my mobile order, and she tells me that I have to wait since I just placed it. Mind you — I placed it at least five minutes prior as I parked the car (and was quoted a 3 – 5 minute wait)! Anyway, I stand back and wait as she makes all of these drinks and the line slowly dwindles. Finally, it’s just me. She looks at me, and begins to make my order. Hot tea… all she had to do was pour the hot water in the cup and insert the tea bag. Hello! So now I’m late for work, so I take my package and drink and hurry upstairs. Guess what I find? Two tea bags, again! This time I was smart enough to take pictures, but still not smart enough to learn my lesson. To add insult to injury? I called the store and asked to speak to a manager, and was placed on hold so long that someone on their end hung up on me.

Ordered a gingerbread latte. Tasted like the bottom of a burnt coffee pot. If you hate your job, get a new one.

Worst Starbucks I’ve have ever been to. Super rude. They took 15 minutes to get me my drink and it wasn’t even crazy busy. First, a guy with glasses was the cashier and he said «what do you want» word for word with very rude tone. & for some reason everyone that came after me got there drinks before me. I told the barista that I’ve been waiting for a while and she was super rude about it. NEVER SAID SORRY ABOUT THAT. Nothing. Handed me the drink without any «thank you». I get it if your tired or whatever but you know what I’ve been working and I’m tired but that’s never an accuse to forget what good customer service is. Plus on top of that I got a caramel frap and it taste like blend milk. Literally.

I recommend not to come I during rush hour because it is kind of pack and not able to serve quick drinks as fast. even so customer service is okay

I haven’t had any bad run ins or trouble with this location! It was by far the best customer service yet! Thank you to all the Baristas and all their hard work at Windward Mall! Keep up the good work!

this location is lame and needs new management ASAP! how can they STILL be out of Cold Brewed coffee? they seem to be out of mango and acai too. AND I over heard the barista tell a customer that they were out of raspberry. why didn’t the guy ringing up the customer let him know when he ordered? lame lame lame. this place needs all kinds of help.

The only time I venture to this mall is when I have an appointment over at Massage Envy and this is the first time I decided to stop by since I had some time to spare before my appointment. Spacious and busy. The staff is friendly and keeps the line and drinks going. Not really much to say except thank you, SB foe being everywhere.. Especially when I need you the most…

There are three Starbucks in Kaneohe and this is my favorite location! They are located at Windward Mall, where Cinnabon used to be located. The baristas always so happy to serve and so friendly! Even when I’m not sure which drink I want, they don’t seem to rush me! So windward mall baristas, keep doing what you’re doing! You’re doing GREAT!

This is by far the worst Starbucks on the island. I can name situation after situation of poor service, but I keep thinking maybe next time it will be better. Today was the last straw. I’ll name a few things that the employees have done at this store in the past.
Situation #1: I stood at the counter, ready to order while 3 employees stood around talking story. They all made eye contact with me and continued to talk story. It took about 3 minutes before I was like, um… can I order? What poor customer service. Obviously their drunken night before was way more important than doing their job.
Situation #2: the girl who was steaming milk for my grande latte did not steam enough milk. There was a 2 inch space at the top at which point she asked me, «is this okay?» What the hell? No, it’s not okay! I would have ordered a tall if I wanted a tall! Is it that much more work for you to steam more milk? And mind you… There was NO ONE else waiting for drinks. She was just been being lazy.
Situation #3: ALL of the coffee they had brewed was old… You can tell with the urns because they start to blink. All the urns were blinking. When I asked about the freshness, the girl lied to me and gave me the old coffee.
Situation #4, 5, 6 and beyond: on most occasions my hot bar drinks are not steamed correctly. I always order them less hot because it burns my mouth. On more than one occasion I have had the barista try and pass me a drink that is super hot!
Never going here again. I’ll drive across the street of I have to.

Fast, friendly baristas who get it right for me! I have been ordering a strawberry lemonade blended lately (being pregnant, I had to cut my caffeine). The barista recommended that I try adding vanilla bean and raspberry to it, and it would taste like a Starburst. She was right!!! It’s since become my new «fave» drink.
It’s a small location, but the baristas keep up with the line so it doesn’t get super crowded most of the time.
The tables are placed outside of Starbucks in the mall area. It can get crowded at times. School kids, shoppers, and people who obviously aren’t Starbucks patrons tend to congregate there. Especially when there are events happening on center stage. I would suggest that management put signs on the tables to reserve them for Starbucks patrons.

This has to be one of my favorite Starbucks on the island. The girls are always super friendly and the drinks are consistently good. They are pretty fast considering I always see a line when I go :)

Finally — a Starbucks in the mall (Windward Mall).
Same Starbucks brand, same Starbucks product. However, the reason for 3 stars is that the service was not up to Starbucks quality, and that was truly disappointing.

There are three Starbucks in Kaneohe — this is the one inside Windward Mall. The other ones are across the street at Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center and down Kamehameha Highway at Windward City Shopping Center.
It’s a small and busy, but efficient and convenient location. It’s on the ground floor near the escalator and Food Court. You can’t miss it since it’s at the edge of Center Stage!
Too bad it doesn’t have free Wifi, but it does have cheerful and helpful staff who make your vist a pleasant one!

Happy, happy, joy, joy for the mall FINALLY getting a ‘bucks! I went to the mall to kill
some time and lo and behold turned the corner and was like, BOO-​YA! It was like the gates of heaven swung open, harps began playing and angels began waving me in… I was so happy!
The grin across my face was like the Joker on Batman but not in the ‘creepy demented’ way but in the ‘stretched completely across my face’ way!
And I have to admit I had already ordered a drink approximately 20 minutes ago prior to heading to Kaneohe only to discover this jewel of a location in the mall.
So what’s a girl who is a self-​proclaimed Starbucks junkie to do?! Well visit and order another drink of course. I mean you can never ever, ever, EVER have too much Starbucks… true story!

The long and anticipated appearance of Starbucks at Windward Mall has finally come and the crowd response illustrates it’s popularity.
The 3 star rating has nothing to do with the products offered but absent at this location are any seating for the patrons. This is probably one of the tiniest Starbucks that I’ve been to.
But none the less seems like everyone is over joyed that Starbucks is here and more so because the popular location at Windward City Shopping Center is under going some major renovation and maybe closed for awhile.
