I have attitude against Applebee’s and I can never remember why until I order it again. I ordered carry out and got the Thai Shrimp salad, a baked potato and the Oreo cookie shake. The salad wasn’t too bad, the shrimp was the best part. The salad part of it was more like coleslaw(I picked the shrimp out to eat them by themselves). The baked potato was… well, just awful. I don’t really know how to mess up a baked potato that wasn’t cut open. I think it was a combination of the potato being past it’s prime and being heavily salted. The Oreo cookie shake had good flavor(what Oreo thing doesn’t) but it was just foam. It was like it had been sat out for an hour before they gave it to me. Granted, I still drank it, but I’ve had them the correct way, so it was a let down. That was a dinner I was very disappointed in

The service is terrible! Everything was slow. We lost half our night waiting for our order to be taken, the food, sauce, etc. Also the highchair strap was broken so we had to keep an extra close eye on our daughter. Applebee’s will be going out of business if every store is like this.

The reason I am not giving a 5 is because during our visit the General Manager was visiting. i think his name was Kyle… he was polite to us when he delivered my food… We sat at the booth right by the kitchen and had a front row seat to him and his poor behavior. He started cussing out our waiter and wagging his finger in his face. He did it again by the front door. It was so disrespectful and the manager and employees all saw that people were hearing and seeing him. you could see they were embarrassed. On the positive side, the manager was very sweet. He made me a Mudslide even though it is no longer on the menu. He had a great attitude. Our waiter, the guy who was being yelled at, was happy and helpful the whole night even after he was ridiculed by the boss’ boss. In fact, he got a bigger tip because of how mature he acted. I will go back but I definitely think the General Manager needs some manners and training on how to treat people. The new menu items were delicious as well, and we never had empty glasses.

Terrible service. Terrible service Food just so-so. I recommend the McDonalds next door before this Applebee’s. Hard to believe it’s one of the closest to the corporate offices. Yuck

Like the guy below… I created an account just to review this place. This was one of my worst restaurant experiences ever… Definitely top five worst. Slow to be served, didn’t ask how burgers should be cooked, two of four meals wrong twice in a row, never brought drink refills, went to get manager and never came back, everything was slow and wrong. I finally had to go back into the kitchen to find our waitress to pay for the two meals that were right so we could leave and Mr wife and daughter could get something to eat somewhere else. Surprisingly after all that there was no offer to make it right. Last time we’ll go to this Applebees.

The customer service is so bad I made an account to review this place. I came in on my lunch break since I work next door, but I’ll never be back again and I really like Applebee’s. There was no wait and not busy, was sat immediately but it took 25 minutes to get acknowledged by a server after that. My server was closing out three other tables, but 4 at once isn’t too terribly much and she didn’t bother asking someone else to grab my drink or anything of the sort. She didn’t show remorse or empathy for the wait, just acted like it didn’t matter. I got up and grabbed my own silverware and napkin, as well. I like returning to work on time, but this Applebee’s clearly is not too concerned about wasting my time which I’m more insulted by than if they were outright rude(they were not). Stay far away from this place if you’re on any sort of schedule at all.

It’s a little below average due to the customer service. I only dropped in because it was by where I was headed. Food was cool, but again it’s Applebee’s so just your average food chain restaurant. If you want to catch a game or just grab something quick.

Hostess rolled her eyes at me and sighed when I asked for a table for two. It was a busy night but that’s no excuse to treat a customer that way. Also, it took 25 minutes for my husband to get his drink and 35 for mine. I declined the drink when it came because we were more than halfway through with our meal. Waitress was nice but we didn’t see much of her.

I just didn’t want to cook for myself tonight and this restaurant is close to where I live. I’ve been here before with a girlfriend. I come back to places like this because I idealistically think that they will change for the better. My wait person was friendly and sufficiently attentive, aside from not giving me eating utensils until AFTER my food arrived. His service was good. I ordered the fireball whiskey lemonade. The fireball part of it was too sweet and cinnamon-y, like too many red hot candies were added. I also had the 7oz sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. I really don’t care for steamed vegetables in general but I didn’t care to substitute for coleslaw either. The steak and potatoes were perfectly good. Prices were competitive. My total was 16.48 before the tip and tax. The GOOD thing that was different than my last visit(18 months ago) is the Presto screen on the tables. I signed up for an account on it, it showed me my tab, had options to play games on it(for 99 cents) allowed me re-order a drink or appetizer if i wanted, etc. When I was ready to leave, instead of looking for my waiter, all I had to do was swipe my card, add tip, which I did, and I could go. It felt weird just walking out without having a final chat with my waiter, but he was busy and there was no reason for me to stay. I LIKED that. I can foresee that speeding up things A LOT. If I were to want a fast lunch, this gizmo should make that happen. Really all this location needs to do at this point is replace the carpet and freshen up the place so it doesn’t smell so musty.

If you look at my other Applebee’s reviews they pretty much sum this one up too. I am not a huge Applebee’s fan. The food is always too salty and not overly inventive. They are there to appeal to the masses with a typical American bar food type menu. Burgers, wings, sandwiches, simple dinners, salads. This visit I went with the BLT. Bacon was a little overcooked and a bit tough. The lettuce and tomato was just that, you can’t dress it up much unless using different types of greens and tomatoes. It has American cheese on it, which honestly I didn’t even noticed. It is dressed with a smokey mayo, but it didn’t stand out either. The bread is toasted and hard. I think I need to just stick with the burgers as they are pretty decent or give the salads a try going forward when someone drags me to an Applebee’s. They work hard to appeal to everyone so there has to be something for me that I enjoy and don’t find just meh, edible. I will say though, I met someone here for business reasons and they are good for that. The waitress recognized what was going on and took care of us very well, but did not continually interrupt us, actually was very good at avoiding creating interruptions while taking care of use. We knew we would be a little while taking care of things and never felt rushed, actually quite welcomed. Five stars in this aspect!

My family has been here at least 5 times and the service is horrible. One black guy who is a server and wears glasses always seems to stare me down and talk about me. I have nothing against him but I think he is gay. The food is good for the most part. One black girl who is a bartender seems to be engaged with the customers. There is diversity among the people who work there and who are customers.

We just had the worst dinner via Curbside service…1. asked for ranch dressing with the mozzarella sticks, got marinara 2. asked for dinnerware and napkins… got neither 3. fries in the fish n chips were total salt oriental chicken salad was limp, soggy noodles… just downright BAD… have not been here in over a year and now will not be going back… thanks for ruining our casual anniversary dinner… I would have been better off going to Culver’s, Five Guys or Chick-Fil-A instead.

How is this place even still open? I don’t normally feed corporate chains, but I was with my grandmother, she was buying, so twas not my place to argue. Clearly I wasn’t expecting much in the way of food. I know it’s all frozen/microwaved. But damn, can we at least get good service? It was me, my grandma, mom, and 2 daughters, ages 9 and 2. It was about 2:00 on a Mon afternoon. The restaurant was virtually empty. We were greeted and seated right away. When our drink orders were taken I ordered fries to occupy the 2yr old. We got the drinks and all the adults ordered soup and salad combos and the 9yr old ordered the chicken and fries off the kids menu. After 15min my mom tried flagging our waitress down about the fries for the toddler, to no avail. Then a different server delivered my meal, and the 9yr olds. We asked about the side of fries, and she said she would get our server. It was another ridiculous 15min before my mom and grandma finally received their identical meals as mine. Still no fries, but the 9yr old was bullied into sharing her meal with her sister, and we assumed they were just completely forgotten about. Until we got the bill and noticed we were charged for them. By that time our«quick» lunch had lasted 1hr and 15min. My grandma was over it and just wanted to get going. So we paid the entire bill and left. Which is why I’m writing this review.

Usually come here all the time. Wednesday for bingo and have phil as the bartender. Loves him and the staff. but this is my first time here for lunch time. well 12:25… and I am not that pleased… I would prefer to come at night instead of daytime… seems a few to many things have gone wrong so far. but Andrew has helped and has been VERY helping in fixing it. a great server. yet to me the night time is just better…

Applebees was a chain that I hadn’t visited in awhile, so we decided to try their 2 for $ 20 deal around 9 pm on a Thursday night. When we walked in, the host glanced up at us but without a smile or hello or anything, he walked away to seat a table… and then never returned. After standing there awkwardly for awhile, the bartender finally stepped out and seated us. The food was good. I enjoyed the moz sticks and my chicken alfredo penne dish. The waitress was pleasant but we were visited by at least 3 maybe 4 people throughout our meal. I felt as if our tip should have been split between them all. At the end, she asked us how we wanted our check. We very clearly said«together.» After taking forever to bring our card back to us(she disappeared, then waited on a large party, then disappeared again), she ended up splitting the check anyway. It was all just a little weird. Overall, a typical-chain-like-decent experience.

Worst. Applebee’s.Ever. My wife and I have given this place too many chances and today was the final straw. We live in the area and like the Applebee’s menu so we’ve been to this restaurant probably 10 times. Notoriously slow and inattentive service lead us to only order carryout, or as they tag it, «curbside to go». We pulled up and waited, and waited, and waited… and when I finally went inside there was our order sitting at the end of the bar with 3 to 4 employees milling around it. The place wasn’t even busy. To top it all off the order was wrong and obviously the food was cold. The last time we ate inside in the bar area our server kept taking«breaks» where we wouldn’t even see her face for 10 minutes at a time. We ended up having the bartender cash us out b/c apparently our server was off doing better things. I hate this place… and what’s funny is that the food is actually okay. Horrible staffing is its unfortunate demise.
