My family and I had lunch at this Bob Evans over the weekend while we were shopping at Legends. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There was a minor mistake with our order but it was okay anyway and as soon as our waiter heard me say that there was an issue he jumped right on trying to fix it.
This isn’t a gourmet dining experience by any means, but it was quick, clean, with great customer service, and my family of four had plenty of food for about $ 25.

Waited 20 minutes for coffee or water. Egg shell on one of the coffee cups. Loud, annoying music playing in the background. It’s January 1^st and colder in here than it is outside. It’s been 45 minutes and we have our drinks but still no food. Just got the food and it wasn’t real hot. The bacon was cold. They forgot my potatoes. Horrible! And we eat at the Lee’s Summit location all the time and never have issues.

First let me start by saying that appearance may not be EVERYTHING but it is certainly very important. The cheap wigs alone are enough to make someone walk out. Horrible. One woman literally looks like a beagle because her wig has what looks like ears. Ok second off when you tell someone 30 minutes for a wait time, maybe having the concept of time would be essential. The hostess is moving at the speed of runny snot. Absolutely no haste to refill the 6 empty tables now awaiting to be taken over by people who are spending money. Omg seriously fuck the food it’s average at best. We only came here because IHOP had a line out the door.
Ps Bob Evans, tell your damn hostess to pull her DAMN WIG EITHER OFF OR ON!!! Looks like a damn raccoon taking a nap on top of her head!

Absolutely terrible service. Or waiter did not take away a single plate the entire time. He forgot every item. We had to ask for everything. Don’t come here… Save yourself.

So for my first post on Unilocal,i guess ill post something negative. What a terrible place. Service is terrible and the wait time is really long. The food we ordered came out wrong and we didn’t even bother sending it back since it would of probably taken even longer to come back out. Service staff wasn’t attentive and they really seemed annoyed when asked for help. I’m still surprised this place is still operating. I recommend a change in management or a revamp in staff training. I’ll also send a complaint to the corporate office because I’ve never been so disappointed and frustrated.

It was 1:30 in the afternoon and we had to wait 5 min to be seated. When waiting to order the waitress acknowledged us but didn’t ask us what we wanted to drink. She was more worried about cleaning a table than us, paying customers. We left when she crawled under a table and wanted to scare a fellow worker.

Absolutely horrible. Worst service I have ever had. Well. Oy really I have had worse but it’s hard to remember when. Never come here! Got here and waited over 40 min to be seated. 6 tables went in front of us that came after. We had 7 people not 17. Then there were 8 empty tables all around us. Some sat there with dirty dishes the whole time we were there. And that was a long time. Another 25 min from when we ordered. A hour and twenty minutes to get some pancakes and eggs? Never again.
If your hungry just keep driving.

Food was good but the service made the experience quite bad. It took 15 minutes to get our waters to drink. Then it took 45 minutes and multiple mistakes on the order before the food finally made its way to the table. Our waters were not refilled until after the food finally came out, and we had to ask for that. My daughter ordered a meal in which «endless rolls» were a part, but she didn’t get them until the meal arrived – even after asking for them with her salad.
We stopped here thinking we’d get a quick good meal before the 2 hour drive home, but that sure didn’t happen. We will never stop here again – there are plenty of alternatives in the area!

Used to enjoy coming here, but we plan to never come back because of the terrible service. On our most recent visit, which was in May 2015, we…
— were brought to a table that still had the cleaning towel on it
— did not get a waitress until we asked for one
— did not get silverware until we asked for it
— did not get our bread until we asked for it
— had a waitress that did not write down our orders, and then had 3 out of 4 orders arrive at the table that were not correct
— overheard a waitress imploring the other staff to hurry with the food because another table had been waiting for a long time
From the time we sat down and began the wait for our waitress, I could tell we made a mistake. We nearly left, but stuck it out. I wish we had left. I would have rather taken the money we spent and gone just about anywhere else. This review is specifically for the Kansas Speedway location of Bob Evans. I’m sure plenty of other Bob Evans restaurants are fine.

We just moved to KCK, by Legends, so I had to try the good ol’ Bob Evans. It was awesome. Food was great, service was great. I don’t understand all the complaints about timing on food, I feel like we waited an appropriate amount of time for how fresh and cooked to order it was. I’m embarrassed about this next part, but I need to get it out there; so far, they have the best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had in KC, and I’m always searching for the perfect CFS. This includes Stroud’s (which I thought was NASTY), Big Biscuit and other breakfast places. I’m sure it’s just a matter of taste, but Bob Evans wins. Please don’t yell at me. Thank you.

First time here. Service is really really slow. Ordered our meal after waiting for 15 minutes after being seated. Then the waitress takes another 15 to bring us our beverages. Then after another 15 minutes tells us they’re out of biscuits. Based on that alone, I’m not coming back. Horrible service.

Worst Breakfast, the kitchen burnt the bacon and the pancakes were undercooked I mean how dose that happen? Then when I said something to my server I didn’t even get an I’m sorry. Skip this place and spend your money some place that cares about customer service.

My kids love Bob Evans for their smiley-faced pancakes. I’m more appreciative of the turkey meat substitutions that are available.
Think IHOP mixed in with a little Cracker Barrel.
You could also think of it this way… it’s like a moped… kinda fun until one of your friends sees you riding it.
