It would of been a lot more enjoyable if the wait staff wasn’t holding the door open while they take their smoke breaks letting the whole restaurant fill up with the smell of cigarettes. The management isn’t doing their job clearly.

You know it’s a Super Bowl weekend and you ain’t got enough people to work you have empty tables and there’s a 10 minutes … I thought you would have staffed more people on a Superbowl day… this a probably be the last time I come here…

Great place to go for to get your fix of Tex-Mex. This Chili’s location is conveniently located within the Legends Mall area among other franchise stores. The service is satisfactory and the food is good but nothing to write home about. This particular location utilizes mini-electronic kiosks that enables you to view picture menus and pay at the table. When the place gets a little busy, the service does slow down a bit but that is expected. 4 stars and will definitely be back.

Dang, I wish that I had gotten to see this restaurant when it was in its glory. Alas, I did not though. Once again I am breaking my never write a review after one visit but I’m a one time hit it and quit it person this time. So we were seated in a timely manner. That was awesome and really appreciated. It looked slow in the restaurant and that’s fine. Man, I don’t even want to go into flourishing details on this review because I was so frustrated. Our server was hard to keep up with even though the restaurant wasn’t really full. I mean there were empty tables everywhere. My son wanted to stop someone else to get a refill on his drink. My loaded baked potato soup was tepid at best. It was cool and gritty, simply unsatisfying. My pork carnitas fajitas had a sweet taste to them. I can’t even attribute it to the caramelized onions although I’d like to do that. I can’t explain them. Four entrees, we had four entrees(three adults and a kid’s meal) there and no one was happy at the end of their meal. No one took home leftovers. I won’t even speak to the restroom situation. Sigh but that could just be because the staff hadn’t checked it out lately. The most enjoyable part of my meal there is that handy«pay at your table» machine with your card. I’ve seen it in several places but I’ve never actually seen how it works. It sure makes it easy to pay, tip and leave. You can even have your receipt emailed to you. It allowed me to do a survey afterwards. I love technology!!! I will say this. We all were trying to decide where to go as a group and everybody said we hadn’t been to Chili’s in awhile and no one knew why so we went. I won’t forget this time.

Right next to the speedway and conveniently located in the periphery of the legends mall. The service was quick on Sunday afternoon and we treated ourselves to a table side guacamole which was made next to us. This chili’s also uses the electronic Ziosk system so you can pay electronically on a tablet at your table. Pretty cool and will return again.

What in the hell is happening to restaurants which are known for posting millions in sales a year? Portions getting smaller, quality going down, less scratch items on the menu, and prices higher than ever? Chili’s falls right into this category. The standard free bottomless chips and salsa in the bar/lounge area are no longer free. Even the lunch menu is far too overpriced for corporate cookie cutter dog food. I ordered the lunch portion of fajitas. It came out on a skillet that was meant for a hot cobbler dessert. I felt like they were trying to tell me I was a fat ass and need to go on a diet. Instead, I left hungry and my wallet got lighter. Kansas City has so much to offer from chef driven restaurants with scratch menus. Whenever I wander into a corporate restaurant as of late, I always leave disappointed. Chili’s used to be a favorite of mine… those days are long gone. What a drag!

The location is nice, next to the speedway. I actually found it hard to find, it sits back behind Longstar. We were there on a Friday night, 5:15. There was no wait. We were promptly seated. The menu is typical Chile’s, and I had forgotten about the 2 for $ 20, which is right in my price range. I was there with my 22 year old son. The waiter brings our menus and asks, «How are you tonight ladies.» …I think we both had a long pause, and I couldn’t decide what to order. Nothing was told to us about the specials, yet I heard the other waitress upsell the 2 for 20 special to the next table. The waiter then came back to our table and apologized for saying that my son(in a skateboard t-shirt and skater shorts), was a lady. I’m sure it was out of habit, but whatever. We found the 2 for $ 20. I thought the whole ordering process was sloppy. The food was good, no complaints. I kind of wish I ordered the crispy chicken, but the quasedillas were good, and I have extras for tomorrow. Every time I go to a Chile’s, I have a story to tell… this is one of them. I do intend to try a different 2 for 20 special, and this Chiles is very nice. But the service was sloppy.

Service is great compared to the old chilis that was here. Food is good too. Managers are always around to keep the place on top.

We had a big group but were divided into 4 tables. It was a little busy day so our waitress did come by for awhile. I think our table was one of the first ones out of the 4 that got to order first. I ordered the Shiner Bock BBQ Burger($ 7.99) and a soda($ 2.29). We also got free chips and salsa which was okay. It took a very long time for our food to come out. The other 3 tables of our group all got their food before we got ours. By the time we got our food, the other tables were almost done eating their food. My Shiner Bock BBQ Burger was alright and pretty much what I expected. The amount of fries they gave me was so little. I didn’t want to complain about it since we were all needing to be somewhere later. After we got our checks, it took awhile after we got our checks/change back. The food was okay but the service could have been better. If the wait times weren’t as long, then I would have given a higher rating.

We have a bad habit of waiting too late to go out and eat on a Saturday night and not to be outdone, I let it happen again a couple weeks ago. So, we piled into the Caddy and cruised out to the Legends. I remembered seeing a new Chili’s out there and we decided to hit it before the T-Bones game ended. After being seated and given menus we decided to do the 2 for $ 20 special. A six ounce steak, steamed broccoli, mashed potatoes and an appetizer. We opted for chips and salsa. Our server was a very personable and professional young man. He kept our drinks full and came by often to see how we were doing. The steak was just the right size, cooked to order and there were enough freshly steamed broccoli and potatoes, with a slice of garlic Texas Toast. The meal is nothing to write home about and these chains tend to be pretty cookie-cutter but that”s why they’re successful because most people want something familiar and for a good value and that’s what the Chili’s at the Legends is serving along with professional and friendly service. We enjoyed our meal and we will be back.

Stopped in to get some lunch, after some shopping on our way home. Food was fresh, and good, service was a little slow, but they were busy that day.

Next to the Speedway, this Chili’s is very open and fresh– not like the Chili’s of the past. No more tiled tables, and there’s a very large«lounge» eating area. The food was very fresh and neat. Definitely an upgraded Chili’s. Lots of supervisors around… They just opened.
