Atmosphere is great! Music is great! Frozen drinks are fabulous, Cloud 9 was my favorite, games on hand to play. I beat my bf best out of 5 in connect four.

This is a review based on my second trip to Snow and Company. We had a waiter/bartender named Jake, and he was great the entire time. I brought 5 friends with me this time to see how they liked it as well. We ordered the whole flight of samples, which was fun to try, and we all loved our drinks. A couple of the girls got hot drinks, which were very rich! We mostly had appetizers, which were tasty, and the owner sent out a little something for a personal touch. This time it was much better, less crowded, and the service was outstanding. I really appreciate the owner contacting me about our first, not so successful visit, so that I could give this place another chance. It’s a great place to go for happy hour or out with a group of friends so you can try each other’s drinks and explore all the flavors! My only negative feedback was that I used a groupon for $ 75 worth of food, and Jake informed me that I only used($ 63?) some of it, along with the final bill. When I asked if I could order something to go, to use that last bit of my groupon, he stated that it was too late. I would have appreciated him giving me a heads up «you know you have $ 12 left on your groupon if you want to order one more thing…»

Snow and company was a great place to spend a Friday evening. We came in for the first time using the Groupon to try a new place. It was low key, but fun. All the frozen drinks we tried were on point. The food was great as well. Our waitress Clara was energetic and sincere and simply awesome. She gave us all the information we needed as first timers. Highly recommend this place!

Often has a Groupon. Great selection of tasty drinks, order a flight to try them all. Comfortable and relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a night with friends. And that hummus… Oh man that hummus… Must try!

Such a fun go-to spot in the crossroads district of KC. Brightly lit, clean with a great social layout, Snow & Co has great frozen cocktails and food. My favorite drinks are the Rockefeller with Old Overholt rye whiskey infused with real cherries, Cinzano sweet vermouth and Angostura bitters, and the Purple Rain with Chambord, Blueberry infused Midnight Moon moonshine and fresh milk. All of the pizzas are great; thin crust and great ingredients. Such a great changeup for nightlife in KC.

Not impressed with either the food or the specialty drinks. I’ve tried it but won’t return. The only part I actually liked was the casual atmosphere.

First time at Snow and Co. just happened to be during happy hour, so I managed to score $ 3 Boulevard beers and cheap appetizers. Grilled cheese was solid but was a little dry since it lacked a sauce. Veggie sliders were FIRE and the hummus/pita platter easily serves 2 – 3. Frozen cocktails are obviously the star; I got the 5 cocktail flight to sample as much as I could. They ranged from boozy to sweet to well-balanced, so there’s something for everyone. Definitely recommend as a first stop during First Friday’s.

Great place and great atmosphere. Had five drinks, including Purple Rain and Limey Bastard. If I could drink Purple Rain every morning for breakfast I would! Servers were super friendly and helpful. I recommend everyone check this place out. I will be back soon… its great.

So I’ve been back 2xs since my first review. My new favorite place! I love it. I had food this time. We had the Italian pizza with feta cheese and the scimeca meatball sliders and they were amazing! Zack waited on us again and he was the like before lol. One of the owners came in and was so welcoming. I really appreciate their kindness. It’s hard finding nice places that treat«everyone«the same. Thank you so much! We will be back. Tonight was a wonderful night and the power being out just gave us a reason to stay longer. I wish I could give 10 stars!

We had been to Snow when they first opened and had always had it on our list to return on a warm day. We found the perfect summer Friday, when we were coming to the Crossroads for First Fridays. The place was very busy, mainly due to a private event that was taking up half of the room with served tables. We did find a seat at a table already seated with 4 others; a little awkward, but we’re friendly! We each tried a different frozen cocktail, which are served from slurpee looking machines. Don’t let that fool you — these drinks are strong! Hubby had a tequila concoction and I had a whiskey drink. We ordered the smaller size, mainly due to the price. We went to the counter and waited in line for our drinks, since we were not getting served at our table. I think that the large private event was definitely taking away from the service to the walk-in crowd. The cocktails were tasty, but one is enough for me. Not only do I think that they are overpriced, but I can only take so much brain freeze! We didn’t order any food, but they do offer a nice selection. I would rate this more as a place to come for one drink for the novelty, than a place to spend much time.

Casual hangout place with couches, board/card games, food, and frozen drinks. Sweet or tangy, choose one! Purple rain was pretty good when I tried the flight of 3 but when I got a 6 ounce, it was a bit too sweet. On the other hand, sunshine boulevard was good but tangy and difficult to drink when paired with purple rain. Good weekend hangout but don’t expect to get drunk or even tipsy here. Happy hour 3pm to 7pm and after 11pm everyday.

We didn’t eat here-came for drinks only. Other people had food which looked good though. We tried an assortment of drinks and they were all great depending on what you like. My favorites were the Christopher Elbow chocolate and the margarita. I really liked the lounge like seating and the games they had available for you to play. Drinks were great, but games were what kept us there drinking more instead of trying other places. Very fun!

this is a cool place to go if your friends want to go out but you don’t really want to go out and you just want to lay on the couch and play candy crush and cry but your friends really really want to go out okay and you could really use the socialization and also they are your only friends and you don’t want to lose them so you put on your finest ripped overalls and fancy crew neck sweatshirt and pump yourself up with some nicki minaj because we’re going out tonight, baby! anyway snow and co is the perfect place to go in this situation because they have chairs and couches and it’s quiet enough to play candy crush and hear the game mock your terrible game-playing ability pretty much it is just like home only you can hand a servant money and they will bring you back BOOZE delicious frozen BOOZE i never realized how much i needed a whiskey slurpee in my life until i came here and had like four i would have had seven but the servant person who was assigned to us was slightly confused and overworked and didn’t really check in on us too often which was disappointing and i felt sorry for her but i also wanted more BOOZE and needed help with a candy crush level and she seemed like a cool person

I went this week to meet a colleague and celebrate his new position! I was excited to try it because of all the publicity The Buzz gives Snow & Co. Plus, I went to school at Mizzou and wanted to see if there were similarities to Tropical Liqueurs. When we arrived, there was a «networking» event about to start. After being told 3 times(by the lady running it) about the event, I asked if my colleague and I were allowed to stay. Being told yes & to find a spot to sit, we chose to sit on the wall near the back(out of the way). Once settled in, a waitress dropped off leaking plastic water cups. Soon after, we were told we weren’t allowed to sit where we chose because of the event(well, why tell us to chose then?). Once getting shuffled around we finally found a spot to catch up. From there the servers changed a couple of times and never really knew who to talk too. Once a server came up to our table, about 30 minutes after our 2nd seating, I was able to let them know about the leaking plastic cup. The server then replaced our cup with water glasses and said, «I thought those were leaking.» Hmmmm, thanks?! I like the environment and location. I enjoy the seating arrangements too. I thought it’d be a better experience. I felt unwanted and no type of friendly service. If you can’t handle a «networking» event and customers, then my suggestion is to chose one or the other. It didn’t seem like the staff had it together to handle both. I’ll probably try it again at some point but I’m not writing anything in the calendar. There are plenty of places that have there act together. They can multitask big parties while providing superb customer service. Which I didn’t see either last night… My heart is still with Tropical Liqueurs!

If you don’t mind over priced drinks and uncomfortable couches this is the place for you. All the times I’ve been here I’ve left with only a slight buzz, aching back and empty pockets.

Ordered the double margarita. Consistency: Straight out of the machine yet it was not even a slush puppy consistency. Very disappointing. Flavor and Mix: Unbalanced. Intensely syrupy and acidic. Closer to melted orange juice concentrate than a fresh lime margarita. Alcohol Content: There’s «premium» tequila in this? How much? The sizes are labelled«single» and«double», suggesting a single shot or double shot of alcohol, yet the adult«octane» was almost undetectable. 1 – 2 shots should elicit at least a mild buzz in someone who drinks only 1 – 3 adult beverages a month. Verdict: The high ratings baffle me. This was a poorly constructed and executed cocktail.

Stopped in to have a late night drink after a show at the Kauffman Center. I personally had the Christopher Elbow chocolate frozen drink and it was PERFECT! Friends all had something different and they went on and on about how good they were. Lounge was clean. Staff appeared like they enjoyed working there. They were knowledgeable about the menu.

If you were a slushie fanatic while growing up like I was, then you will LOVE Snow & Company. Frozen concoctions with alcohol to boot? Say no more. I recently stopped in Snow & Co. with my boyfriend and a girlfriend who was visiting from Minneapolis. It was gorgeous out, so we walked and were thrilled that they had their windows open for an open-air feel. Upon looking at the menu, we made the swift decision to go with their full flight so we could sample all of their mixes. Why not, right? Each mix was entirely unique, and my favorites were the Limey Bastard and Sunshine Boulevard. Our server was awesome, and Snow & Co. provided a perfect, unique experience for my out-of-town friend.

This is a great concept and all of the drinks are delicious. You will not find a better slushie bar around. I wish they had a little more food options.

Love the food, love the drinks, love the service, love the décor. I’d give Snow 5 stars if it weren’t so dang expensive. I’m not a cheapskate, but it was almost $ 80, including tip, for 3 people. We ordered one pizza, one sandwich, which was served with chips, an order of 3 sliders, 1 hot drink, 1 non-alcoholic drink, a flight of 3 frozen drinks, &3 macarons.(Which, btw, our waitress pronounced as ‘macaroons.’ Macaroons are in fact another completely different kind of cookie. These are macarons. I didn’t want to embarrass her & tell her there, so I’m mentioning it here.) Except for the disappointing macarons we ordered for dessert(they were too squishy, with no discernible flavor,) all the food is delicious, but the portions are pretty small. The sausage sliders say they’re served on Hawaiian bread. True, but I was expecting something special, perhaps made in-house. These are definitely those cheap King’s Hawaiian rolls you can get at any grocery store. At $ 10, the pizza is probably the best deal– and it’s big enough to share between 2 people who aren’t super duper hungry. I do wish they had another vegetarian pizza option. Unless I missed it, the only one I saw was the portabella. The drinks are really different and special, but are they worth the cost? Probably not. The best way to try out their drinks is to order one of the flights. I noticed that they have a Happy Hour, but it’s limited to just a few items on the menu. Snow and Company is a fun place after seeing a show, or to show off to KC visitors who will enjoy the laid-back but still trendy vibe of its décor, but its prices will keep me from coming back as often as I’d like.
