I love this place. I almost hesitate to write a review because I want to keep it my little secret. But in joining Unilocal I have pledged to share my finds with others, so here goes :-) This is one of the nicest, neatest, cleanest thrift shops that I’ve ever seen. The housewares section is fine, but the clothing section really shines. It is organized beautifully. Not only is each type of clothing(shirts, pants, etc.) organized by size, but within each type the garments are organized by color. Say you are looking for a red shirt in medium or a black skirt in small, you can see immediately exactly what is available within those parameters, and can peruse the selection in about 15 seconds. Of course, as with all thrift shops, many of the offerings are not what you may want, but I am continually surprised by the excellent finds. I recently purchased a department-store-designer linen dress(looked new) for $ 7, a full length gorgeous wool overcoat for $ 10, and a silk dress shirt(also looked new) for $ 4. They also have a good formal wear selection. I pop in every month or so, and always find something that I truly wish to purchase. In shopping at Synergy you are supporting a great cause. Synergy(the charity) provides comprehensive services for battered women, at-danger teenagers, and children who were the victims and/or witnesses of crime. You get cool clothes while supporting this organization. What could possibly be better than that ?!?(And, of course, you can support it by making a direct monetary donation.) (P.S. I am not affilated with Synergy in any way, other than as a happy shopper and contributor.)
