360 Strong

This review is not based on the facility and classes. It’s about the lack of response from the staff in order to attend a class.
For a lot of folks, it’s hard enough to push yourself to work out some days. So when you actually get that motivation to go, the last thing you want is to be beaten down with more obstacles.
At 360, you can’t just walk in to sign up or attend a class according to the website and some friends who go there. Apparently everything is done ahead online. I tried to redeem a Groupon, but in order to redeem the Groupon you have to message them and wait for them to get back to you with a code you can use online to sign up for your classes. The website and their voicemail say they will get back to you WITHIN 24 hours. Well, it’s been nearly 2 days of emails and calls… nada. Haven’t heard a peep back from them.
I was initially really excited about this place and now I wish they’d just refund my money so I can go to a facility with less red tape to go through. Waste of time. Heaps of frustration. And no return on investment.

I love the variety of classes, the super close proximity to my home, the wonderful instructors and the times of classes. The facility is pretty unique yet oddly tranquil but dont let Eden read me saying that lol :)

Pretty great gym — with a variety of classes to help you get your work out in. Boot camp, yoga, stretching, trx… something for everyone. You’ll work hard here, the instructors are pleasant, and will help you get the most out of your time in the gym.
Awesome space, ample parking in front. Easy class sign up online. When you arrive don’t forget to use the laptop on the counter to check in so you are present and accounted for.
This place will be offering barre classes in June 2015!

Wow, 360 strong has gotten me in the best shape in my life! It not a place just to work out it is also a family! Tabata and TRX are amazing! Love this place

This is the first gym I actually commited to join. I’ve tried many different gyms but none of them felt like they were worth my time. And for the first time in my life, I could see my 6 pack starting to form. Thank you 360 Strong!
There are so many different classes offered here. They have a holistic approach. You will push your body more than your think your body is capable of in Eden’s bootcamp classes and you can slow down and stretch in a yoga class. And these bootcamp classes are no joke — think crossfit with variety among inspiring people who will push you harder in a non competitive nature. I’ve done Insanity and P90X but those videos can get boring after a couple rounds of doing them and I plateaued. The classes here are always changing and you’ll never have the same class twice. Classes are tough but modiffications are always provided.
Not only are the instructors friendly and knowledgable, they also know your name. They notice your weak spots and will coach you accordingly. The members here are super friendly and will help you if you struggle with certain moves. It is all about working out together and inspring each other here at 360 strong.
My only complaint is that I am leaving Hawaii tomorrow as I type this review and I cannot pack 360 Strong in my suitcase!

I’m visiting 360 Strong on a Groupon and so far it’s awesome! All staff members I’ve met are very friendly and knowledgable. The classes are intense but they always provide modifications.

Many different types of classes and all the instructors are amazing. Everyone is super friendly. I didn’t think I’d enjoy a group fitness only type gym but now that I’ve been here I’ll never go back to a regular gym!

I feel so lucky to have found 360Strong after relocating to HI. This place has been integral in my {overdue} return to a fitness-​centered lifestyle. All of the instructors are smart, motivational, and just plain awesome. Whether you’re a novice or an expert, there are modifications to all exercises to meet your needs, and encouragement for you to take it to the next level.
360Strong is a «new» business, but their instructors are well versed in health and wellness and most definitely have your best interest in mind.

If you don’t know what Functional Training is and you are still working out in a traditional gym with machines and weights then you probably aren’t getting the results you would like. Last February I wrote a review about the opening of 360 Strong and I am updating because my results are exactly what I want and exactly what I was never able to achieve on my own in a traditional gym.
Every woman has body image issues and if you don’t then please tell me your secret because I am going to share mine… its the training at 360 Strong that has helped me to overcome my body image issues in a year and 5 months. I am not your typical local asian. I am 5’5, broad shouldered, and always struggled with my weight. I used to weigh 135 – 140 on average. Two years ago, I threw away my scale. I have spent the last year and a half working out and all I can say is 360 Strong has me in the best physical shape of my life!
The small classes have given me the chance to work with expert trainers and the yoga classes have given me the flexibility to improve my workouts and my results. As for my body image issues, I am living proof that the scale is just a number. I now weigh 145lbs but I also know that muscle weighs more than fat and knowing might be half the battle but seeing is believing. I see myself in the mirror and I see how my clothes fit. I see that I will never have some tiny petite frame with minimal mass and I don’t want that. I eat what I want, when I want, and I have the greatest support group for my personal training. Being in a class has given me friendships with people who are also working like I am and we encourage/​support each other in every aspect of our lives. Come by, try your first class free and don’t forget to say HI… everyone calls me miso and Ill be the chick trying not to swear as we sweat our arses off but we’ll have fun doing it together!

In a very short time, I have made huge strides in improving my strength and flexibility … and rehabbing a broken arm and frozen shoulder … on TRX! I was absolutely floundering with traditional weight training and not making any progress… but the TRX class has all but eliminated my shoulder pain– while providing all over results. Pilates class has an uncanny way of working out the kinks while strengthening underused muscles. The Ballet class is really fun and doable… even though I took ballet 35 years ago! I love the small classes… the teachers are completely approachable and helpful… I highly recommend this gym — for anyone.

360 Strong is a unique and amazing studio. The trainers and individuals who attend the gym are what make it so special. I feel like I’ve found a second family, sometimes crazy like me but always supportive and friendly. With a wide range of classes to choose from some days I can go crazy on my cardio & strength training while the next focusing on yoga and pilates. There really is something for everyone here. At first I was a little intimidated by the ‘bootcamp’ names, but these classes are far from the yelling style I was anticipating. The classes really are easily tailored to every ability level, and the trainers are excellent about helping you modify if injuries dictate.

We are very happy w/​the training but mostly grateful for the awesome people teaching the class as well as the ones participating in it too. Everyone is soooo NICE!!! My boys, 15 and 9 get a good work out and have fun too. FYI– Groupon has a deal for 10 classes @ $ 35 (all classes completed in 45 days) or 20 @ $ 65 (all classes completed in 90 days). They do offer your first class free though.

I waited until my 100^th review to review FitWiz, because FitWiz has earned that special spot.
I am 36 years old and in the best shape of my life because of this class. The combination of TRX with beach cardio and circuit workouts brings me to the brink of complete muscle failure every week. It is hopelessly addicting, because at least from my perspective, I have not been able to achieve this sort of intensity from any other workout plan or class. I used to do Crossfit, but it was too easy.
(If Crossfit were an animal, it would be one-​trick pony.)
Results? Oh, yes. Results. Since joining FitWiz I have cut a minute off my 1.5-mile run and eight minutes off my 5k. My body fat has dropped four percent. The only workouts I do on my own, outside of class, are very bland, boring, basic, military PT workouts.
(If these workouts were animals, they would be the kind who fell in the ice and got extinct.)
Rated 5 stars because I believe this is as good as it gets. And if it gets any better, it’s only because FitWiz somehow added something else, like maybe a dragon massage at the end of each session.

After the first 6 weeks, I checked my weight and realized I had gained 10 lbs. Oh no! Not to panic, this is muscle mass I’m gaining. I decided to stay away from the scale for a while. Just checked a week ago (3 ½ months into it) from when I’m started and I’ve lost 25 lbs. Woohoo! Can you say FitWiz is effective?! I think YES! Must keep it going!

If you have fitness goals that you’re serious about, you’re in the right place. This is always a challenging workout, and never the same twice. The trainers and other participants are the best group I’ve ever worked out with. What a bonus that we’re on the beach! Beginners shouldn’t feel intimidated, the workout is the same and yet unique to your level of fitness meaning you can start anywhere and never max out. Awesome!

I started TRX with FitWiz Hawaii while training for my first marathon. Nine months later, and my first marathon under my belt, I am hooked. The instructors give personalized attention to customize the moves to make them harder/​easier based on the individual’s fitness level. This class truly is for everyone. I’m addicted! Now I’m 5 months pregnant with baby #3 and still going twice a week. Yes, it’s THAT awesome!

Very tough workout. Harder than the P90X workouts I have tried. I always leave soaked in sweat and sore the next day, so it must be working, right?

My neighbor talked me into going to Eden’s TRX Bootcamp and I’m glad she did! It’s a great workout with great people that pushes you to your limits… in a good way. I am seeing great results after just a few weeks, and I feel stronger and just better in general.
The circuits are fun, intense, and go by quickly — you can’t get bored with this workout! There’s something new for each session, and you burn a ton of calories. Eden tailors the exercises based on your experience and capability level, so there’s something for everyone.
If you have kids, the Ewa Beach location is awesome. They can play on the playground there while you workout. They have fun and you get a great workout — win/​win!

I have been attending Eden’s Ewa Beach class now for approximately nine months. In the short amount of time I’ve been working out, I feel stronger and have been able to drop weight quicker than just going to the gym.
The use of the TRX was my reason for trying the class. But it’s how Eden incorporates an assortment of exercises to condition the whole body that keeps me wanting more than just one hour.
This is the best cardio and strength training workout I ever had.
If you want a great workout with a very positive trainer, then you must try one of Eden’s classes. With the first class free of charge there’s nothing to lose.

My girlfriend and I were on vacation in Oahu and wanted to mix up our workouts, so we found Eden.
Eden’s TRX boot camps are the real deal. She uses exercises that work your whole body, make you sweat like crazy, and get a ton of results in a little bit of time.
Her boot campers are super cool and ‘tude free, and their enthusiasm just makes you want to work harder, while you’re having fun of course.
If you’re on vacation too or just a local who wants a kick ass workout you’ll be sorry if you don’t get in on this class.
