Very funny. Chief involves the crowd on many occasions during the show, giving kids, teenagers and adults all a spell in the limelight. Plenty of jokes throughout. Food wasn’t bad, which is quite a positive for a luau. Drinks were really weak, but you’re not there for the food and drink. Great show — lots of different cultures and a great fire dance to wrap up

We were a little skeptical going to a luau, but it turned out to be a lot of fun! Your ticket comes with buffet dinner and two alcoholic drink tickets. I would suggest getting there early to line up because we got there early and still had to wait awhile to be seated. It is an interactive show, but a lot of it is getting on stage of you so choose to. Overall, it was worth it!

This was a great show! I was worried that being there from 4:30−8 I would be ready to leave mid way through but it was enjoyable. The pre show activities were fun. The chief is hilarious! We paid the extra $ 15/ticket to get premium tickets which Includes a flower lei, closer seating, and first in line to eat. It was worth it!

I was very hesitant to even go to a luau while visiting Hawaii, I know this is a must do when visiting but I hadn’t read any reviews that made me want to go until two days before I left for vacation and read the reviews to Fia Fia Luau. This having been my first and only luau I don’t have anything to compare it to but it was extremely enjoyable. The staff were pleasant and helpful, as soon as we were seated within 5 seconds a waitress was asking us for our drink order. The food was surprisingly good(I’m not a big fan of buffet foods) and plentiful. The show itself was great, funny and consistently entertaining. The chief is the real reason to go, he was a non stop riot and kept the evening going. The singing, the dancing everything was amazing. This was well worth the price. If you’re on the fence about which luau to go to, go to Fia Fia you will not be disappointed.

We’ve been to this luau two or three times. It’s always a treat when we come to Hawaii. The grandchildren, our grown children and we all enjoy the food, the activities and the dancing. And the sunset over the ocean is an added bonus during dinner.

Attended the show and dinner tonight, our 4th time in ten years. Always amazing and well done. However, this year they seem to have taken it up another notch. Chief Suila is a genuine entertainer and obviously cares deeply for his family and ensures family participation during the show. Always one of the best times we have while at Marriott’s Ko OLina Beach Club. Hope to see the show many more times with our family in the future years.

Great luau! Food was actually terrific. There were options for us carnivores as well as good options for vegetarians. Show itself was very good. Lots of activities for everyone leading up to the show.

Amazing show! A must see! Do not miss the opportunity to be a part of this incredible show. The Chief was awesome and extremely entertaining. Also, two of the fire dancers are the top three in the world.

Best luau I have ever been to. The Chief makes the show worth it. Food not so good. Pork was delicious, but the fishy was too fishy and the beef was dry.

Great luau. Super friendly if not kinda creepy Chief guy. Very cool that they had activities and a gift shop. we got a $ 40 photo souvenir. Pricey but hey we were on vacation and it turned out great. Food was good. Not overly salty, thank goodness. and the poi was blech. Cake dessert was just ok for me. A little too sweet for my taste. Overall for the experience, i am happy we decided to go with Fia Fia.

The good… The convenience to Ko Olina, the show itself and the performers, and the staff. The cons… I find the buffets at these luaus to be bland and wanting. If we had not received discounted tickets, we probably would not have gone. The vegetarian entrée for my wife was grilled tofu«steaks». Who eats like that? The normal ticket cost was $ 105/adult. I understand the cost of the show with all of the performers and staff, but comparatively, I think a better experience would be to spend the day at the Polynesian Cultural Center and attend the luau there. We enjoyed that one more a few years ago. It’s an hour drive unless you take a tour bus and relax, but among that, the Bishop Museum, and Iolani Palace there are many ways to get your Polynesian history and support the culture and venues. Now, if you don’t have a full day for the Polynesian Cultural Center, Fia Fia is not bad. They do have a strange VIP seating order and lineup that made us normal customers feel second class given the scant attendance.

Amazing performances. Lots of food — kahlua pork, bbq chicken, steak and fish. 9 people in our party and worth it. Make sure to buy premier tickets($ 115) so you can have priority seating and best view of the show.

What a awesome show! I love the food. Yes it’s really expensive but why not. I’m on vacation. Let’s try it. Love the staff and how friendly they are. Well organized.

What can I say, great show. 17 of us in all and everyone loved it ok including the kids. I don’t write a lot of reviews but wanted to write one for this place because I appreciated their efforts in the show. The show was awesome! Food was what you can expect from a buffet but was good nonetheless. I got the premium tix and was worth it. Again, loved the efforts by the entertainers, great job guys.

Great luau. I’ve seen others in the past, but Fia Fia was the most entertaining I’ve attended by far. The Chief was great, and he blended just the right mix of tradition, Islands culture, audience participation, comedy and spectacle. The Fia Fia performance felt fresh despite it — I’m sure — having been performed a kajillion times. Sure, I could have done with less anniversary and honeymoon romanticism, but the show almost seemed Vegas-ready, which I mean as a compliment. The venue was great too — small enough to feel intimate but big enough to accommodate the show. I’d do 5 stars for Fia Fia, but I can’t go that far overall because of the food. My mahi mahi was cooked to oblivion, and I swear I’ve had that same Marriott green salad at every work offsite and catered meeting. Cooked in an underground pit or not, my Kalua pork was a salt lick but I did still enjoy it. I also appreciated the taro rolls for a little additional local flavor. My kids liked the Mac n cheese, so it was great that the kiddos were taken care of. I wasn’t thrilled with the huge free for all /everyone get in line at once buffet system, but after waiting for what seemed like forever, we did all finally get plenty of food. Overall, I feel like if they improved the food, Fia Fia would be a home run. Even with the food as it is, I still think Fia Fia is the best show in town.

I can’t not emphasize this enough… ***MUSTSEESHOW*** ***WORTHEVERYPENNY*** We got a sneak preview of the show Monday Night at the Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club as Chief Sielu Avea was there promoting the event and told us that we must purchase tickets in advance as they will sell out. So let’s breakdown this event piece by piece!?! Tickets: We were able to purchase the tickets through the concierge desk at the Marriott. Tickets are about $ 90 but trust me when I tell you ***WORTHEVERYPENNY*** Location/Time: 6pm on Tuesday Nights at the Main Lawn Area at the Marriot Ko Olina Beach Club(next to Longboard’s and Chuck’s Restaurant) Seating: Not first come first serve, it is assigned seating and you will be sitting on tables with others. One Table can seat 8 people but very spacious. Foods/Drinks: They give you drink tickets but it’s like open bar as you can keep ordering as many as you like cuz they don’t care. Buffet style dinner(pulled pork was amazing). They even have a kid’s buffet with basic foods like spaghetti and chicken nuggets. Then there is dessert afterwards as well, and everything is all you can eat so you gotta love that!?! Activities: Make your own basket out of Cocunut leaves and you can get fake tattoos painted on yourself. They also have you take a picture upon entrance with Chief Sielu Avea and a hot Hawaiian Hula Girl(the fellas love that) and the picture is available for purchase afterwards. Show: I won’t get into much of the details as you need to see it for yourself, but my 3 favorite parts were: 1. Fire Show 2. Crowd Participation(go up with Chief to learn the culture«Honi Honi» and learn how to dance with the hula girls) 3. Live Music If you’re like me and you look at the price and say«WTF», yeah it’s pretty steep, but I must say it one more time ***WORTHEVERYPENNY***
