if you are in the mood for great Filipino food this is the place. My favorite dish is the pork adobo fried rice. Overall its a great place to eat.

This is not the best Filipino food that I’ve had. But it will do when I’m a pinch for Filipino food. The staff is pretty cool, the inside of the place is ok, and the food is above average. I would suggest getting anything that has pork in it and stay clear of the buffet. If you ask me it’s a better breakfast joint then a lunch or dinner.

Not impressed! After hearing all the hype I entered the west side portal and drove to Kapolei. Better than Thelma’s, everyone said. This may have been an off night, but it was pretty slow on a Sunday and the service was still terrible. We had to flag down a server each time we needed something. The food was just meh. The lumpia was weird, as if they didn’t mix the filing, and each lumpia was basically all bean sprouts. The lechon was NOT as good as Thelma’s, but decent. We also tried the pancit and mungo beans, so so salty! Paired with the fact that we never got refills on our water cups, this was not a good experience. Back to Thelma’s it is!

Usually one of my normal eating spots, but if the 2 Boys are not working the service sucks, and they loose a lot of business. We went today and ended up at Koa pancakes, because the staff did not bus tables. There were 5 dirty tables and no one cleaning. today you get one star. All it take is one day of bad service and I’ll find somewhere else. No line. Everyone had their food, there was no rush. It was obvious that no one in the front of the house cared. Be a while before I go Juliez again

First time here. Food is good, but staff are not very friendly. Try the food out at least.

They get two stars because their food is great. If it werent, theyd get one star. Any random day you can walk in, be seated, and then wait have to 10 to 15 minutes before someone on the wait staff even looks at you, much less brings you water, utensils and a menu. Once you DO get a glass of water, youre lucky to get a refill without having to stand up and walk toward the kitchen to get someone’s attention. Today was no different for me. I actually got my utensils AFTER my lechon kawali came(only a fork though, because somehow they ran out of spoons). My lechon, while delicious, was luke warm at best. Half way through my water, i noticed debris floating around in it. Looked like clumps of dust. You know, for texture. I let the manager know my frustrations. I want to come back for their food but the experience outside of that is terrible.

I love eating the Filipino food here-sari sari, shrimp sarciado, lechon kawali, mongo beans. BUT, as far as customer service goes. Uhmmmm yeah, it needs work! I came in, signed my name & waited for 2 of my family members to arrive. Meanwhile, people who did not sign in were immediately seated. I was like, excuse me?! I made eye contact w/the waitress who ignored me. RUDE! 5 minutes pass & then my family arrives. I was over it & decided to seat ourselves. This other waitress asked, how many? I said three. She then comes to me with the sign-in sheet & asked me, which name of the two listed was mine? At this point, I was beyond irritated. Like seriously, the people before me didn’t even sign in? Did she ask them for their name? No! Anyways, we placed our order & waited for our food. Our food set up was pretty tight because we ordered up a lot & had little room on the table. The food was delicious per usual. They did give us an extra order of lechon kawali, but my dad didn’t mind. So I didn’t say anything. lol I think he knew I was irritated & just wanted to keep the peace. I enjoyed my food & stuffed myself. I just wanted to pay & get out of there. It was starting to get busy too with people walking in, call in pickups. All in all, the food I love! The customer service not so much!

This is one of the places that I take my family to dine when I’m just too lazy to cook filipino food at home. Love this place! Their service and staff was really nice. Sometimes they get really busy, but if your hungry for some Adobo fried rice and shrimp sarciado, you’ll wait. The only downside about this place is that they need more wait staff. You would need to constantly flag them down for water refills.

The food is the best .just wanted to THANKTHEHARDWORKINGPEOPLEINTHEBACK. I think everyone would agree with me. Waiting for the food is no problem, we all need to remember everything is made fresh ! The waitress they need help. I had to ask for a water refill and they have no personality. I have no problem tipping but gosh smile. Juliez is an awesome place to work at. Good food, local customers!

Never gave anyone a one star unfortunately I have to on this experience. Called in a telephone order went to pick it up. Zero, nadda and nothing was ready. Though she look frantically for the order receipt, somehow it was no where to be found and to top it off they could not make the order cause ran out. I USE to love going here and ordered a lot of take outs and pan orders but not so friendly service anymore… Too bad=(

When I first came to Julie’z, I was unimpressed and thought that the Filipino food was okay(of course nothing can top my mom’s pork adobo!) But when I came here a few weeks ago, my taste buds were literally blown when I had Julie’z lechon kawali and adobo fried rice. Julie’z «LECHILOG,» which is the combination plate of lechon kawali and adobo fried rice will make you truly satisfied. The craving of fried pork with a touch of vinegar makes this dish unique and the adobo fried rice really stands out. The adobo fried rice healed my hunger pains and the lechon kawali touched my soul. If you live on the Leeward side and don’t live in Waipahu, this is definitely a place to try for Filipino food. I’m not sure if these are rumors but I’ve heard Elena, Thelma and Julie’z are all sisters. Coincidence that they are all Filipino restaurants? You tell me. Now get some«Lechilog» and let your heart do the talking when you munch the house down with the taste of adobo, fried rice, and lechon kawali in your mouth.

Due to the sand spillage on the H1, the traffic took us on a detour and we decide to stop here for breakfast. We got the sausage combo and mini Ralph fried rice omelette. Both were very tasty and filling. We are definitely coming back.

I eat here often enough that I decided to finally write a review… this is probably my favorite Filipino restaurant on the island. I love their lechon kawali, adobo fried rice, mongo beans, and pork gisantas. The portions are big and the food tastes authentic! Also the customer service is good! This place is a must try if you’re craving Filipino food and you’re in the area.

As I was leaving work, I had a craving for lechon. My go to place is Alonzo’s because their portion is huge plus it’s near home. Well, after a discussion of my co workers’ favorite places to go for Filipino food, I decided to try someplace new. I stopped in and there were a couple tables looking like they were just finishing up. I made my order to go and saw the«lechilog» which is lechon and pork adobo fried rice. And it was only $ 8.75! Right on! Ordering was fast and the woman who helped me was very patient as I looked at the menu and then changed my order. The wait itself was very fast. I didn’t check the time on it but it didn’t feel very long. The portion was a nice. It actually was dinner and lunch for me because I just don’t eat that much at one time. Pork was nice and crispy and came with a vinegar sauce on the side. But the fried rice! It was delicious. I know many places make adobo fried rice but this one was good. Wrapped in a thin egg and had plenty of pork pieces and shredded pork. I had to force myself to keep some to eat with the 2nd half of the lechon. I’m very content with this combination and I know I will probably have to order this again sometime! Guarantee I will come back. In my discussion with my co-workers regarding lechon, I do have a couple more places to try so eventually I will have a favorite!

Review of their BREAKFASTMENU Ordered a plate of their pork adobo fried rice, $ 8 huge enough to yield 3 servings. Rice was seasoned well with the pork adobo grease(grease can be good, in this case great with fried rice thanks) and seasonings. Good amount of pork adobo chunks to rice ratio. Very filling and reasonably priced! Short stack of red velvet pancakes, yes you read that correctly. Who would’ve thought red velvet pancakes at a filipino restaurant? This was a very nice surprise as the cakes were moist, fluffy and came with a nice cream cheese frosting to compliment. $ 5 for a stack of 2 huge cakes? I’m sold! My take out experience was awesome, phone answered in a minute and food picked up 15 mins later, restaurant accepts credit card as well. Salamat Juliez, you knocked this one outta the park. Fresh, hearty food, reasonable prices and fast, courteous, efficient customer service will give you a 5 star review from me!

Yaaaaaass! I was waiting for the day I could update my review here. Previously I was miffed about the service. However there are some employees that I have not seen before that have bumped my thoughts about this place to 5 stars. First of all the quality and yummyness of the food was always there. They have alwAys made fresh homemade delicious Filipino meals and they still continue to do so. So far the cooking hasn’t let me down. I also have another favorite to add to my list. The pork adobo was soooo good. I love putting the gravy all over my rice:) the meat was tender and it wasn’t too salty. Also there was more meat than fat!!! Lol I bet you’re like«what.» Well most places that order adobo from the pork are mostly chunks of fat with very little meat :(well not here it was delicious. Once again we ordered the sari-sari and lechon kawali. Both delicious as always. For the price the portion sizes are just right. There were only two of us but one order of each was enough for us to split, with both of us getting full. The food is always 5 stars to me. So the service… It was awesome and wayyyy better than it has ever been. As soon as we walked in, and signed in to be seated at the front, we were immediately greeted and seated. I’ll note that it was very busy as there was only two tables left open. As soon as we were seated we were brought waters without being asked which is great, and what made it perfect was that they noticed my 3 year old and automatically put one of the waters into a plastic cup and straw for her. Kudos! The food was brought out promptly and waters refilled as needed as well. It didn’t even seem like the same restaurant lol. As we left the worker thanked us for eating here and told us to have a great day. Amazing what service can do for a customers experience. Overall I really hope this is not a one time thing and that they continue onwards with their completely improved service.
