RadioShack

Needed an alarm battery. This store was out of stock and did not have the business and/​or IT savvy to determine when the next supply would come in. Attempted to have the store ship one from another location, said would be in on a date but it never came in. Now the date is open ended. Small wonder this chain is going extinct… they cannot compete.

If only I could give negative stars…
When we first walked into the store, there was only three customers there. They were together and looking at the phones. The two «workers» we’re sitting on the counter playing with their phones. Didn’t even greet us. RUDE. We looked at the phones ourselves and they just kept playing on their phones. Then we went up the counter, the red shirt guy. guessing the manager? Said «yes?» Like we were bothering them while they play on their phones. WHAT A JERK! I was so mad. How can someone be so rude? We are customers, get off your stupid phone and help customers. We asked for a phone and then the red shirt guy was talking to his colleague and said «you got it? You got it? You got it» like he did not even want to help us at all. So the other dude, wearing a sprint shirt got off his chair and put his phone away and asked «what phone did you want?» So we told him and he instantly said «oh we sold out.» Then he just looked at his coworker and said «the closet RadioShack is Ewa Beach.» No way am I driving there! So the red shirt guy got off his chair because he had to go look for the telephone number for the other radioshacks. He was like «ugh…my leg… it’s killing me» like we made him get off his high horse to help out paying customers. And the whole time, they were looking at their phones.
I’ve never felt so mad about something like this. The rudest and worst service EVER. Never going back to this RadioShack.

I have had to go into this store a few times and always had a good experience but the help that I received most recently caused me to take the time to post this.
I own a nearby business and from time to time when things go wrong with electronics this is my go to. Through the years I have watched as this store evolves and in the last year it has become the most professional and service oriented ever. It didn’t take long to figure out why. The manager, Kevin, is really knowledgable and goes the distance for his customers and the staff is super friendly. Thank you for helping me out every time I have needed your services.

Honestly, I’ve never been a fan of RadioShacks period. But, we went into this RadioShack first to get a laser pointer. As soon as we walked in three people said almost synchronized «Hello welcome to RadioShack» O_​O, heh hey… Continuing on I started to browse around and one of the employees walked up to me, «hey there, is there anything I can help you find today?» Yes, im looking for a laser pointer. Turns out they were all out. But the employee, who turns out to be the manager Kevin whom for some reason has a bad rep on Unilocal,Said they would get some in on Tuesday. Fast forward to Tuesday. I walk in with my husband and there is Kevin and another worker Issac assisting other customers, «Hello, welcome to RaidoShack!» alrighty then. We look around for a few minuets and Kevin comes over to ask us what he can help us with. He got us our laser pointer and we checked out and got on our way.
Perhaps we just always caught them on good days, I’m not really sure. But we have gone to this RadioShack for two years now, at least 3 – 4 times a month JUST because the employees. We pay a little extra for the batteries and for the cell phone accessories ect… Because we just like to go in and have conversations with the employees when they aren’t super swamped with customers. Again, I honestly don’t like RadioShacks, their prices are just not that great and they have limited stock and selection on things other than cell phones. If i was rating the employees that we have met I would have given this a higher review but sadly its for the RadioShack in general haha.

If I could give negative review I would. Had the worst customer service today when I wanted to return a product. The manager, Kevin wanted a proof of purchase which I couldn’t find my receipt and that he is very unwilling to help me out with a gift card. I am a manager at another retail location and I would never let my customers leave unhappy. We have a just say yes policy because customer’s satisfaction is our #1 priority. He made it sound like I stole the product from somewhere else! I felt embarrassed
When I first came in the manager was complaining to his staff about his day. If he doesn’t like his job, he needs to do something else!
I would never return to radioshack again! Walmart gives a better service! And it’s usually cheaper! RadioShack, you just lost a customer!

they take FOREVER!!! You have ALL the employees servicing people with phones while all their regular customers purchasing items have to stand there and wait until they are done with phone upgrades/​purchases. They should dedicate one employee to servicing customers who aren’t purchasing phones
I gave them two stars cause after asking one of the employees if there was someone that could just ring things up, they more than willing offered their assistance.

I walked in this evening looking for batteries. The worker working the front looked at me as I entered and tried to ignore me. I’m a large person, hence hard to ignore, but a valiant attempt it was. I take my batteries and head to the counter and wait. And then I waited more. I knew the worker was helping so I walked over to your cellphones and waited there as well. Perhaps I might think about getting a Virgin Mobile phone. I look at the price and notice it is WAY higher than Best Buy and/​or Target and decide that if I wanted to get screwed, I’d send myself to jail and be cell mates with a big hair Samoan named Bubba. I continue to wait thinking all the time that maybe I had made a mistake in coming to the store. A few moment later it was confirmed, it was a mistake to be here. I stare at the employee on shift and using my pretend telepathy, I tell him you just lost yourself a customer. As I get into my car and drive away, I notice another employee coming out. It made me believe she was hiding from me the whole time and waited for me to leave. I felt like a bear walking in a garage, looking for food as the home owner takes peeks out the window hoping I will go away on my own accord. I will never go back to Radio Shack Kapolei. In fact, it may have convinced me to never go back to Radio Shack ever again. If I wanted to be ignored, I would have jumped into a time machine and went back to high school. I wish I could give this Radio Shack negative stars or some sort of badge of dishonor. A tear will not be shed if this Radio Shack shuts down and becomes a Church’s Chicken.
TL, DR: Went To Radio Shack = Horrible Service = Write Bad Review.
