My wife and I are in complete agreement that this is the worst ice cream we have ever tasted. We each ordered a scoop of rocky road and a scoop of Hawaiian mud pie. Both were devoid of flavor and lacked the creaminess of good ice cream. If you must have ice cream find either a Lapperts or Baskin Robbins.

Good ice cream, nice happy young ladies working. The Hawaiian Shave Ice is terrible. The syrups are heavy with food color and fake sugar. Nasty! Better shave ice is out there for sure. Parking is a joke but is everywhere in HI anymore.

Ice cream is great we go there often but every time we are rushed and the employees either have attitude or absolutely no cheerfulness whatsoever. I just want to say cheer up! This is an ice cream Parlor! But it’s like the just had dtr conversation and it went poorly. Seriously cheer up my kids are excited when we decide to drive from Mililani all the way tho Ko Olina just for ice cream and the employees look at them with a dead stare and asks them what they want.

Keeping this short… My friend and I stopped in for some good ice cream in an effort to one-up a snap chat and we were greatly disappointed. Not only were the prices a little on the high side but their two scoops looks like one scoop from the many ice cream places. The flavors were also very limited. My friend ordered a chocolate sundae and he said the ice cream tasted freezer burned… like it was old and left in the back of the freezer for far too long. The one redeeming factor was the sweet girl at the counter held the sundae so we could snap chat the picture.

Cute little ice cream shop in a clean, convenient location. Next to little shops, restaurants and a convenience store, as well as a nice coffee shop next door. The staff were generous with the scoops, although the ice cream is still on the pricey side. We had their Hawaiian mud pie and coconut macadamia — delicious, creamy and very satisfying! Plenty of quiet seating around the area. Great place for a little cool-down and a treat.

Great little local ice cream shop! The employees are very nice, customer service is great, the shop is clean and pleasant. They serve a variety of ice cream, Dave’s I think. I love that they also offer coffee, the Aussie coffee looks especially delicious! Located in Koalina, near the beach, this little shop is a true gem!

Located across from Aulani, next to Monkeypod in the Ko’olina resort area. it is conveniently located for tourist and staycationers alike. It is a bit pricey, but oh well, like people have mentioned… it is Hawaii. The ice cream in general is okay, hence the 3 stars. Staff are friendly and shop is clean. I recommend stopping by and keeping this local shop afloat. Enjoy.

After staying a week in beautiful Ko Olina, I never tried this place up until the last day. My boyfriend and I were walking across the street to kill time before the resort shuttle picked us up when I saw the giant shaved ice poster. As someone who ate shaved ice there everyday straight, I was pleasantly surprised by theirs! Ice had a good consistency, flavors were good and they gave a plentiful amount of condensed milk for about $ 4ish, I think it was. If you’re in Ko Olina and craving accessible shaved ice for the area I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Good but we thought a little bit on the expensive side. I spent about $ 16 on 3 single scoop ice cream(no extra like toppings)

Went inside to sample the flavors. Three female employees were in customer seating area sitting talking. Two got up and went behind service counter, only one washed her hands in employee sink. They both scored zero when it comes to friendliness and they stared at my female friends up and down in a VERYODD manner. We felt pressured to purchase something. Very uncomfortable atmosphere. I quickly made an excuse for us to leave. Ice cream was flavorless. Employees were expressionless.

My husband had to convince me to go with a 3 star over a 2 Star. All in all the value is not there, the flavors are almost non existent. .50 cent add-on for Sprinkles and there were about 25 sprinkles and no cookie dough in my chocolate chip cookie dough or 1 nut in the Rocky Road. The quality of the ice cream is nice but then everything else is just middle of the road. I know it costs business more money to accept Amex and I tend not to fault a business for not doing it; however if you are in a resort area over charging for ice cream the least you can do is let the travelers you are overcharging get a little more bang for their buck so they can come back to pay for the over priced ice cream.

the only ice cream joint around other than baskin robbins. (i went for their hawaiian mud pie) the workers there were sweet but the parking a pain. location wise it’s smack dab in the middle of all those hotels in ko olina so it’s an easy breezy walk from the hotels kinda on the expensive side but there’s really no other competition that would drive prices down or flavors to be much better.

Others have felt it was too expensive. I don’t really care about that. It’s Hawaii; everything is expensive. I just wanted to have some decent ice-cream. We had Banana Fudge with no fudge, Rocky Road with no marshmallows, Strawberry with lots of food coloring and very little strawberry flavor. They had«sold out» of the hot fudge(who’s container was spotlessly clean suggesting it hadn’t had anything in it all day). Trash containers were overflowing. Big issue though: it was just bad ice-cream. Icy not creamy, artificial flavors. Think about those giant half gallon tubs your grandma used to take to a picnic with lots of guar gum. That sort of ice-cream(maybe without the guar gum but still not good). Anyway, we’d have preferred to have just gone to the ABC store next door and bought pints of Haagen Daz or something for a fraction of the price and higher quality.

Location/Parking: The ice cream parlor is located in the shopping center next to Island Vintage and MonkeyPod. There is a small parking lot with 30 minute stalls and 2 hour stalls. Flavors: There are a variety of ice cream flavors that are locally made in Hawaii(Dave’s Ice Cream). My favorite is the Hawaiian Mud Pie which is Kona coffee ice cream, cookies and fudge. They also have unique flavors such as Coconut Macadamia. Other Goodies: They also sell shave ice, coffee, tea, scones and hot dogs. Price: One scoop of ice cream is $ 4 which is the average ice cream price in touristy areas. Ambiance: The décor was fun. There were chalkboard signs and colorful walls. Seating: There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Customer Service: Unfortunately, I did not get a warm welcome when I entered. The staff was busy giving a free scoop of ice cream to her friend. I didn’t get help until more customers walked into the shop. Overall, I recommend visiting this ice cream parlor if your looking for a sweet treat to cool you off.

I really would like to give them additional stars, but I can’t. This is our second time here and they fall short in a few major spots for us. First visit the group of girls that were working seemed more interested in their little inside joke then the customers. It was very unprofessional. Ice cream though was very nummy. Second visit, the service seemed better. However, we left the beach where the kids were really enjoying themselves a little early so that they could get shaved ice before they stop closing at 4:30. We get there at 3:45 with one family before us already ordered. We order the banana splits first. We then order the kids shave ice. Now, the signs as you see on my pics says close at 4:30, which we remember from our first visit. BUT when we order it at 3:52 they say it’s closing because the train is about to come. Mind you, no train has even tooted the horn yet or come close and there is only on man behind us. I would say they need to change their sign. We could of enjoyed or beach time longer and watched the sunset. It’s a pity when the kids are so excited and set on that one thing and have to settle for another. As a business, you need to post accurate signs. To add insult to injury, we had time to eat our banana splits and kids cones as a fam before the train even came. They had time. Of course, the ice cream was good, just like the first, but I feel they lack in customer service and I am not one to support businesses of that nature. Being it’s a tourist area, expect to pay more if you come here too.

Average ice cream pad! They also have shaved ice! Was hoping to find a great ice cream/shaved ice pad near our condo… This place is pretty good but I feel it doesn’t blow you away… The staff are ALL friendly and professional! All of them I have seen in the time being here are all girls… But they are all cool! One even told me she is from Folsom, CA! Small world yo! The location is awesome… Walking distance from our condo, next to the Monkeypod restaurant, island market, and vintage island coffee. Across the street are more shops and restaurants… They have a variety of ice cream flavors but I had the strawberry and my pops had the rocky road!! née both thought the ice cream was only average… The prices were slightly high to me… 1 scoop is $ 4… We get better deals in Cali! Shaved ice is decent but again, doesn’t blow u away… Good amount of flavor choice but the shaved ice could be smoother and melt in your mouth feel! Maybe I will return… if we crave something sweet… The staff and location is what I liked the most!

$ 4 for a single scoop. Dang that’s pricey. But what are you gonna do if you’re really in the mood for ice cream in this area. It’s a nice walk across from the resorts. I chose Mint Chip and nothing really special about it. It was good and satisfied my craving. It does melt REALLYQUICK, so eat it up fast! The sugar cone was good… not stale. Sit outside and watch the train go by. Good times in Ko’Olina.
