I eat here regularly and have no complaints. The quality of the food and taste is excellent. Customer service is wonderful. I usually get the chicken Shawarma plate of chicken kabob. Both have great flavor and portions are good. Their Hummus is great, breads are great and the garlic sauce is not the best I’ve had but delicious. It is my go to for Mediterranean in this area. I have not tried enough of the Indian food to review that but I definitely recommend trying this place!

Love, love, LOVETHECHICKENKABOB and Tabouli as well as their Naan Jae, Adam, and Manuel are all extremely kind, helpful and very caring each time we visit. Manuel is very hardworking and keeps your Dining Room immaculate. Jae and Adam make sure my meal is perfect and treat me like a Princess when I come in. I’m in my 50’s and really appreciate everyone that is mentioned above. They make lunch or dinner extra special when I’m there. It’s hard to find younger people who are genuine in what they do and will also reflect joy in their demeanor. The three of them are a blessing to all they take care of. Thank you for making our meals with you a dining experience and so extra special.

The food is good. Portions are large. BUT;;;;; Check ur receipt. I went there today paid $ 40 for two platers and naan. I didn’t think anything at the time because my baby was in my arms. Once I drove away I decided to check my receipt and they charged me for 3 strawberry juices $ 8.79. Which I did not order. It could have been an accident but feels shady. They make u go to the register, place your order then a waiter brings your food and you pay after you eat. Makes no sense to me.

The food is delicious, and I have always looked forward eating there. However, yesterday on Saturday, at 11AM, we were rejected service. Unfortunately we were refused entry. They said they were closed. My husband thought they rudely rejected us. As soon as we got out of the door, they turned on the lights to read open. I have tried to call management, but until this day no response. Am I rejected because I wear a hijab? Especially during these sensitive times. Were we rejected because we had a baby? We have always cleaned up to ensure no crumbs on the floor. Were we impolite? Did we not tip well in the past? Businesses appear to have a right to refuse customers. We are one of those refused service and entry. Disappointing, because I cannot eat that lovely curry puffs sold at this establishment.

I generally stay away from anything Indian, ESPECIALLY fast food indian places. Luckily for me, my co-workers really liked this place and we went on a team lunch here. Right off the bat, this place is the KING of mixed signals. –You walk in and order, but you don’t pay. –There are cups at the fountain drink section, but you aren’t allowed to go there as there’s a «waiter» who fills and refills your drink. — Oh, and you have a waiter but you order at the counter and seat yourself in what looks like a fast food/torchy’s type building layout — and at the end you ask for your check. It really just messes with your head. However, past all the confusion. 1) The food is actually pretty solid. If it’s your first time, order the Chicken Boti Kabob. It’s moist, grilled very well, and the portion is enormous. In terms of sides — Hummus and Rice are the way to go(Lets be honest, fries at an Indian restaurant?). If you want soup instead, get the Daal, which is VERY tasty and probably one of the better Daal’s I’ve had(nothing on mother’s Daal of course!) 2) The venue is very clean and somewhat modern. Very Katy-esque. One of my primary concerns in any indian establishment is if it’s clean. No worries here. 3) The service is just… weird. They just give you water and bring you your food, but you are still expected to tip. When you ask for your check, it takes FOREVER to get it. Really, if they just layed this out like a normal casual dining restaurant(pay everything at the register, let people get their own drinks, and have the servers bring out the food to the table’s numbers) — I can see them doing extremely well. However, the sheer time it takes to have a proper sit down meal due to the reasons above may be the difference of them being good and being great. Overall, great food, nice venue, terrible service layout.

Service is A+. Ambience and cleanliness of the place is also very good although I didn’t use the restroom so don’t know about that. It’s family friendly and the menu items are plenty as well as you can find some really healthy options. I had the beef burger which is quite filling but the taste was great and so worth it. Came in on a Wednesday afternoon after lunch so not as busy. Only thing is it might feel like you have to wait a while but after being served we found it was worth it. Convenient location, good music, and I’m still impressed with how clean it is. I hope they can maintain these standards. The food is fresh and no grease. Will come back because of the service, cleanliness and to try more of the menu! The chai is also very good. Four stars but will update on next visit.

First time in. Came at lunch time and the place was pretty crowded which is usually a good sign. Looked over the menu which offered a robust selection of Indo-Pak and Mediterranean selections(think hummus). I settled on the Tandoori chicken platter. The food arrived after a what felt like a slightly longer than normal wait for an in-n-out type establishment but nothing worth moaning belly-achin’ about. The food arrived and the presentation was excellent and the platter was huge but sadly, that’s where it ended. The tandoori had very little chicken and a whole lotta bone. I felt like I was eating crawfish for the enormous amount of effort I was putting into getting just a tiny bit of reward. The yellow rice was com-puh-lete-ly void of flavor. Things weren’t all bad however. The lentil soup was really good and the naan was really, really good! What I was most surprised by was the price — under $ 9 out the door(not including tip). For the sheer amount of food it was worth it, for the taste of the food, not so much. The staff was very courteous and the place itself presented a very spiffy, clean setup. I am willing to give this place another shot but right now it’s A middle eastern restaurant in Katy –by gawd-Texas but not THE middle eastern restaurant.

I Drove 30 miles today to try the Mixed Grill. As always the Staff was Friendly. I did the take out this time. The wait wasn’t very long. I can not Identify all the cuts of meat but can tell you it was very good. It could have been my fault but the only thing missing was some bread that would have went very well with the Mixed grill. My Biggest disappointment was not getting to see Sana’s Beautiful Face on this Visit. Keep up the Good work at both locations hope to see you on my next Visit. Gary L. Portier USARMY Ret. Bigsarge

I had to update my review after visiting a few more times. I’ve now had their mango lassi and chicken puffs which are both delicious. However, there are some things I’m not okay with. The samosa chaat is one lonely samosa swimming in an ocean of liquid, chick peas, and chutney. I have no idea why it had so much liquid and just one samosa. This is the only place I’ve ever had samosas chaat with 1 samosa only. So if I were sharing it I guess I’d have to cut the samosa in half. The taste is okay(they make good samosas), but the excess liquid was just too weird for me. I did not like it and I wouldn’t order it again. The mutton karahi was okay in flavor, not great, but very oily on the top. I had to scoop out spoons of oil before I could eat it. Again this is something I wouldn’t order again. I ordered a naan to go with it and it was about ½ the size of a naan you’d get anywhere else. Also since rice did not come with the order, I asked for an order of plain rice. They gave me the rice that they serve the kabobs with. Do they not have plain basmati rice? I’d return to Kabob Korner for convenience because it’s so close to my apartment and for certain menu items, but honestly they are way pricier than better quality Pakistani places. If I wasn’t pressed for time, I’d rather drive over to Highway 6 and pick from one of the many better options around there.

Yum yum yum! I dined in around 4:30 p.m. on a Thursday, it was only me and two other tables that were there. I ordered the lamb gyro, lamb Karahi — extra spicy, and naan. I was very skeptical about it actually tasting flavorful due to being located in Katy but I was proven wrong. Everything was so delicious and I will definitely return to turn other items on the menu. However, I did not enjoy dining with my toddler and listening to drake, trap queen, and feelin myself.

For Katy food, it’s actually quite good. For people from Houston, it might be a slight step down. Yes, that sounds like a snobbish foodie thing to say, but you’ll find better spots(ie — Phoenicia Deli, Pita Bites, etc). Nonetheless, this place is pretty cool. Overpriced food? Nope! Prices were very fair and the quantity was good too. I recommend going the spicy route, and your better bet is to stick with some of the wraps and sandwiches. I liked the chicken shawarma and or a behari. There’s a wide selection to go from… including a hamburger… fries are also available, but they’re just okay. So, overall, it’s passable. Kabob Korner is basically next to the Alamo Drafthouse so go see a movie afterwards. Worth checking out just to try it. The food is good, or good enough if you have foodie standards, mainly because there is such a wide variety. However, I’d still recommend going the sandwich /gyro route(cheap, good portion, quick service). Service is friendly and the atmosphere is very family friendly. Parking is very easy.

Was attended to as i came in, trying to decide between dine in or take out, gave me enough time to decide. I have been here multiple times now. The food is certainly flavorful(indian food). It’s kind of unique that way with a mix of Mediterranean and indian food. My fav has been chicken shawarma and chicken botti roll. Timing wise it can take up to 20 –30 mins during peak hours for togo orders. Dining in the wait has not been that long. They missed my falooda once in a togo order but gave me credit for it when called in. Certainly a place to check out if you live in KATY area.

These guys know what’s up! We have a 16 month old and he gets antsy in his high chair. So we were trying to entertain him but our tricks are old now I guess. So baby got fussy and loud, and our waiter brought over a toy(in the picture I’m posting). Genius! It’s interactive, colorful, and it has suction cups underneath the toy so it stays on the table. These guys have really thought this through as far as being a family restaurant. I hope they have diaper changers in both restrooms. By the way, the food is delicious :)

I haven’t tried any Indian restaurants in Houston yet so I decided to give this place a try. I ordered chicken kebab platter with one piece of naan. I was told it would be a 20 minute wait for my order to be ready. The naan bread tasted fresh and warm. The yellow rice was flavored just right. The chicken was soft and just right(not too dry or too juicy). I’m not sure what it’s called but that sauce that tasted kind of like yogurt was good with either the naan or chicken. I definitely have to sit down and try out their other entrées next time.

My husband and I had lunch here a few weeks back while house sitting for my parents. We’ve decided to branch out while in the area. We went in the afternoon on a weekend day. There was a pretty good amount of people there when we got there, but we were able to get in and seated immediately. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful. This was our first time, and our experience with Mediterranean food is limited so he patiently answered our questions and help e d us make decisions. We started with hummus and naan, which was very good. The naan was freshly cooked and so, so good. I got the chicken shawarma plate as my meal. Delicious! The chicken was spiced perfectly. So good. My meal came with rice and more hummus as well as tahini sauce and garlic butter sauce. My husband got a chicken dish that he really liked but was too spicy for me. I don’t remember what it was called but it was a vivid red. Very pretty, and very good according to him. We actually are really looking forward to going back to try more. I would definitely recommend thjs place without hesitation at all.

I don’t have much to say about this restaurant. It has very poor customer service. The staff is very unprofessional. The old lady at front counter is very rude. She does not greet you or ask if what you would like to eat. She pressures you to pick. It is over priced. Food is okay And yes it took 35 mins to get my order at lunch.

So glad to have such a great restaurant so close to the house(as in, we don’t have to drive downtown to enjoy it). I had the Chicken Biryani and my husband had the Gyro Plate. Very affordable prices and good service. I had the opportunity to go to India for business for the first time in July 2014(Chandigarh) and before I went, I did not like Indian food. I was there for three weeks and during that time I became a fan. Because of that experience, I can honestly say that the chicken biryani tasted exactly as it did in India. We’ll be back! We had the hummus and naan also… GREAT combination. Hummus is very creamy and yummy!

Loved the Hummus, Samosas veggie, and Iraqi Kabob! All really good flavor. Sauces were awesome too! They also have burgers and chicken sandwich for picky kids like mine. It is a sit down place with waiters. Place is very clean. In fact the water they serve is the clearest water I ever saw from a restaurant; no smell or things floating in it. Hot tea is available too. Servers are very helpful and courteous. Food can take a little long to come out but not too bad. Price is average. An entrée is about $ 10.
