OK, so I’m really digging this place. Plus, the girl behind the counter said that next week they’re going to have a new menu, which might include tzatziki sauce, hummus and more. I think that, plus some pita bread will make this one of my top 5 places to go to for a quick, delicious meal. Love the Bob Marley playing inside the restaurant and the friendly service. Btw, I get the lamb/beef in the kebab with the garlic and hot yogurt sauce, some Feda cheese and bam, I’m happier than El Chapo on a motorcycle.

I love this place! The beef and lamb on a kabop or salad is awesome. Everything is fresh, and it’s definitely nice to have a fresh, healthy alternative to fast food. The employees are great and the manager Tabitha it excellent. This location is always dead. I hope that more people discover it so that it doesn’t close down.

Had the chicken kebab which was good /okay… did enjoy the spicy sauces and variety. However, to be honest these kebabs are nothing like a real euro Doner Kebab! Bread is totally different and meat is not freshly sliced! Hate to repeat others but I’ve had better from local non chain delish schwarma places like phonecia. Overall not bad at all, pretty tasty actually, but we live in the most diverse city in the us so there’s better kebabs to be had yallllll! Ok extra point for serving beer on draft! :)

Great concept, food is very good and all flavors are fresh. Nice drink options. We tried the falafel on bread and wrap and it was delicious!

I want to love them, but we are just not there yet in our relationship. It’s not me, it’s definitely you! The menu, concept and atmosphere are great. The employees are super nice too. So, what’s wrong? I think first and foremost, the meat has been really, really dry every time I’ve been. I mean like almost jerky dry. The second thing I’m not sure about is the sauce to sandwich ratio. Don’t get me wrong, the sauces are fantastic! Super flavorful and even *healthy* because they are yogurt based. Maybe all that sauce is needed to mask the, um dryness of the meat? Ok third, I’ve ordered falafel twice and they are just bad. Soggy, greasy, sad little patties. I’d love to see a few improvements as far as dryness of meat and a new falafel recipe. The sauce issue I can handle, just get SOS. All that aside, I’ll continue to go back because I like supporting local businesses. I’d give a solid 5 stars in the future if these issues can be remedied. I want to love you, but we are definitely ‘just friends’.

Expensive and dried out meats. Subway is a better bet with change let in your wallet. Nice people and seemingly clean.

Upon entering this restaurant concept for the first time, my husband and I were accosted by the manager Chris with«Are you going to want fries?» I stammered for a second and replied I wasn’t sure since I hadn’t looked at the menu yet and this is our first time here. I explained we had a coupon, and have been meaning to check it out. I’m not quite sure what the rush was with the fries, since they weren’t ready to slice any meat for least another 3 minutes! Everything was out of order in this process. Chris the Manager rang us up(he forgot about the aforementioned coupon). THEN we went back in line to customize our sandwiches. Food was just«okay». Nothing special. And I was surprised at the limited amount of choices, since this brand promotes a seemingly unlimited amount of combos. Not impressed.

Wow! Talk about flavor! My husband knew I’ve been wanting to try this place and we were not disappointed. We’ve had it 3 – 4 times. The fries aren’t anything special, but the rest of the food is great. Only one time wasn’t as good but I didn’t go for the spicy sauce and I like my food spicy.

I picked up dinner here last night for myself and two hungry guys working on our new house. The two girls behind the counter were super friendly, and the sandwiches were amazing. We ordered 3 sandwiches, an order of sweet potato and regular fries… everything was great! We are so happy to have this place so close to our new home!

I went to VertsKebap today and was so disappointed to find out they no longer carry the veggie patties! I’m a vegetarian but on a rare occasion, I eat chicken, so rather than leaving, I decided to try their chicken(I don’t eat falafel). They had a fresh, new rotisserie that hadn’t even been cut from yet, so I thought to myself that at least it would be fresh. Big mistake. Unfortunately, I got shavings from only the outside, which resembled thin strips of cooked, tough chicken skin instead of slivers of tender meat. Although the flavor was good, the texture was disgusting. I won’t be going back. It’s unfortunate because it was one of my favorite places. As a side note, the last two times I dined here, the service was significantly slower than before. I’m giving them 3 stars because everything IS fresh and healthy.

I really wanted to try this place out for the longest and was iffy about whether I should eat chipotle or vertskebap. I chose. chipotle, but since the line was crazy long. I decided heck. Verts is next door I’ll give it a try. I’m surprised this chain has 4 stars… Nothing Amazing about the fries– I can make you the same, nothing amazing about any of the kebaps and wraps — there’s better Mediterranean food out there. It was a weird taste, nothing went well together. Dry meat. I had better, but in my opinion this wasn’t my cup of tea. I spent $ 12.02 and I wish ate somewhere else. Also, it might be better if they didn’t cut their meat too thin, just handcut with a knife.

Nothing outstanding here. The meat was a little dry, the«bread» doesn’t bring anything to the party at all, sauces are ok. With Shawarma King, Fadi’s, and countless other delicious Mediterranean/Greek/Lebanese alternatives, this place is just overpriced fast food. I’ve had a tastier gyro in a mall food court. $ 12.50 for a kebab sandwich with fries or falafel & a drink.

We decided to try this new place out and we will not return. The food was very expensive and hard to chew. They give you a good amount but it was slow and not very good

Kebabs have become my favorite lunch! I ordered the chicken and got it right off the roast, and it was awesome. Grilled veggies? Yes please. Feta, jalapenos, and everything else while you’re at it. This is truly a unique spot to eat. The food is tasty while remaining healthier compared to many other choices. The sodium, however, is high, but that is a small price to pay for delicious, low fat, low calorie kebab sandwiches. Update: forgot to mention that the falafel is really good too with the garlic sauce

Tasty sandwiches, I prefer«The Texan.» Food is great and at a decent price, this particular location could use more knowledgeable staff. I felt as if I knew more about their menu than they did.

Found out about this place when an ad popped on my Waze GPS app with a couple for a free side with an order. The guy explained how it worked. You can make your own such as picking which type of bread, meat, dressing, and toppings. I decided to just go with the original and ordered a side of falafel for free with the couple I had. I was worried the bread wouldn’t hold up and would get soggy but it held together nicely. I was definitely satisfied and just full enough not to have food coma. The Izze Orange soda finished the meal off quite nicely. The 2 employees there were friendly and we even had quick chat about the mayweather/pacquiao boxing match.

Decent sandwiches, tasty falafel. Watch the sodium! VK is another German shawarma pita sandwich import, but this place adds a little Texas spice to it. Dogarz Doner is a close alternative. Although VK does not offer seafood choices like DD, I like VKs added Texas heat with jalapeños/cayenne and I did not have a messy sandwich like I had at VK. I ordered the beef/lamb combo and a regular serving of falafel for my daughter. One thing you can’t tell from the online menu is that a few sautéed/vinaigrette veggie mixes are offered at the beginning of the line and I tried a delicious mushroom combination. After that, I ordered all veggies(including jalapeños) and the spicy red sauce, which was a tasty yogurt/cayenne pepper combination. At the register I noticed I was missing feta cheese and it was quickly remedied. This was one tasty sandwich that hit the spot. I tried one of my daughter’s falafel balls. Slightly crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside and tasty. Recommended. VK is a fast-food place. There is plenty of seating, but drinks are self-serve. The guys behind the counter are very helpful and will have your sandwich/wrap/salad ready without much wait whatsoever. It’s great that calories are posted, but one thing that would be nice would be lower sodium options. I like shawarma meat, but just one kebap has enough sodium to cover an entire day’s recommended allowance. I will definitely return.

Went here for lunch and ordered the Kebap(pita). Your other choices are a wrap or salad. I picked the beef/lamb combo for my meat which by itself was pretty dry but still tasty. The other choices are chicken(I will try that next), veggie patties and falafel. They have a huge variety of fresh veggie toppings and some delicious sauces. I tried the spicy red and it was spicy(even though it is made with yogurt). I like how they recommend several meals that are under 550 calories. I also like that my meal was healthy and very tasty at the same time! Simple menu but you still feel like you have several choices. On the counter, they offer cards on the nutrition info of each kind of meal so you know exactly what you are eating. And a plus is that the staff was very friendly! I will be back!
