Love Midpoint! I have never had a bad meal the atmosphere is cozy, couches outside, staff is great and live music can’t go wrong. The Chocolate Rum Rum is a must drink!

The place was cute, waitstaff attentive, drinks weren’t balanced. Will give it another try.

Good food, but very busy

This place is so cute! Very good service. My bartender Mariana was very attentive and knowledgable. Can’t wait to go back!

This place is one of our favorites for a night out. There’s awesome live music on Friday nights which is when we usually come by. Abbie and Mariana are always the sweetest and remember me and my boyfriend by our name and our usual drinks!

Very disappointed. We saw the reviews an awesome drink menu an decided to check out on Saturday night. All the beers we ask for were out of stock. Place was dead only one other group inside. Most of the drinks we ordered were not balanced an just not good. Wine of the day was good I wouldn’t go back.

My happy hour group of coworkers and I used to love this place. We went regularly, at least every other week. Great food, good drink menu, decent specials. Friendly bartenders.
In the last couple of months everything has changed. Completely new staff. Service is absolutely horrible. They must be under new management because my credit card charge came through under a different name last night — «Drix Wine Bar» not Midpoint as it’s always been in the past.
One coworker had a fraudulent charge on his credit card this morning after we were there last night and two others can connect past fraudulent charges with having used their cards at Midpoint recently prior to the charges. He will be filing a police report.
We got there last night at 5pm and didn’t get a first drink until 5:30. Those that got there at 5:30 weren’t served until 6:20. The waitresses were rude and overwhelmed. We will absolutely not be going back again.

We spotted this cute little place right next to a restaurant we were eating at. Happy hour was from 1−4p, I ordered the drinks around 3:30. On a clearly stated sign that said cocktails $ 7 for happy hour; they made three drinks, the waitresses also confirm that cocktails were $ 7 when the manager came to ring them up he charged $ 9 he then stated all cocktails or $ 9 which is the normal price inside the actual menu; however for happy hour was still 30 minutes left. He did not want to honor the $ 7 price so after I pointed to the sign and happy hour was still in full effect he then change the price with the evil glare, he made me uncomfortable he was really upset about accommodating their promotion. Right after I paid he immediately made the waitress take the $ 7 off of the dry erase board and they changed it to $ 9 for the cocktails he then just stared at our table for the entire time that we were there making us feel uncomfortable the entire time.
The lemon drop tasted like Windex and some type of cleaning solution I did not drink it.
The Mojito was just as bad. So that was not drinkable as well.
We didn’t even bother returning the drinks because we felt like it was just going to escalate with the already glare and bad service that we were getting so we just left it with a small tip and we just got out of there as fast as possible. I would never go back and I’m not sure if we picked the wrong day or something happened but it was really unfortunate that our experience it was so bad.

Above and beyond service from Abby and her new apprentice Lauren. Food is delicious!!!

This place is great. It’s got an unassuming vibe with awesome food and great service. Zack is especially wonderful.
Go there — enjoy it.

I had such a wonderful experience and so happy to share it with so many people. We hosted a small networking event and I have to say Midpoint Bar+Eatery is a very unique place that keeps conversation going with great vibes. Not to mention the food is great too! Drinks are great as well. Order the Moscow Mule!!!

For being on this side of town where you don’t have endless options of non franchise/​chain bars and restaurants (like inside the loop) I’m a fan. Came here for an impromptu dinner & drinks and it’s good, basic Mediterranean food. Cocktail menu is great ! I had a jalapeño drink «Lone Star Sour» and I’ll say it was my fav especially if you like a kick !! Great casual place for grabbing a bite or even to watch sports. Little bit nicer atmosphere then going to wild wings. So if you’re going on a date on this side but still wanna see some NFL, NBA but keep the place creative with a little cuter atmosphere; this is your spot :)!

Overpriced and ran out of titos vodka by 11pm on a Saturday night. Of the four people in my party, two sent their drinks back. The waiter was quick and responsive, but the lackluster drinks and steep prices make this a place to skip.

There isn’t many bars in Katy that attract the people/​company I want to be around, or have the drink menu I’m wanting; except MidPoint. Great place to socialize w/​amazing people that you just don’t meet at other bars and everyone is respected. Also u get the option to try a unique craft cocktail or beer and fine wine that gives everyone what they are looking for. The staff adds to the experience too, they truly care and want to give everyone the best serves. The food is great! You don’t find this type of food anywhere so yet again adds to the one of a kind experience! The ambience is the best for a night out, it is outside the loop but feels like a inner loop place and there isn’t enough of these places in Katy. You have to try this place!

I previously wrote a bad review for this place but realized I was too quick to judge.(forgot to update after our overall experience) I wrote the review when we first walked in to an ambience that is not the norm for a wine bar. However, we decided to stay and stick it out since it was a place we’ve been before and enjoyed and we still wanted our date night. The staff is friendly and accommodating and helped us tuck away into the corner and enjoy some drinks even though the music was very loud and it was packed. We ended up having a great time for the circumstances and the DJ even played some songs for my fiancé! The bartenders told me that the party wasn’t a normal occurrence, so we’ll be back!

It was my 3^rd time here with my boyfriend and we like it a lot. Def. a chill, cool spot to hang out, eat and drink! We were there last night for our 2yr anniversary, wanted something to just sit and relax and that’s what we got! it was def. not busy at all! :) Our waiter was so cool and funny, he recommended us two drinks (his own special one & the Salted Caramel w/​Jim beam Bourbon shake) ! … OMG soo good and strong too! Cant wait to go back and try the rest of the «adult shakes» hehe. I also had their French kiss martini which I enjoyed as well w/​our Salmon entrée ;D came along with hummus and bread (super yummy!) and we also ordered the eggrolls which we loveddddd. Bf and I had sat outside in their patio, weather was gr8! Thanks Midpoint, for making our night awesome!

The food is fresh & delicious & healthy. The drinks are great. The bartenders are friendly. And the wine selection is great. I have met some really fantastic people at MidPoint. They have a great outdoor patio. They have good local musicians that play on Friday nights. I’m very happy that they have expanded their hours & are now open for lunches.
I give MidPoint 5 stars & my repeated business.

Great little bar in Katy. It’s my favorite place to go for a chill drink with friends, and very convenient as it’s 5 minutes from my apartment.
They have a decent beer selection and some fun cocktails. I personally love their truffle fries and their hummus, but their flat bread is also delicious.
Sometimes when it gets full service can be a bit slow but it has been much better when I’ve been there recently.
I love that they have outside seating and the owner is always really helpful and welcoming.

My husband and I were driving around the Katy area, and searching for a place to have lunch. I found the bar on Unilocal,and decided to try it out because it was located in a shopping area that we’ve never been to before. When we walked in the place was empty, but it turned out that they had just opened their restaurant to start serving lunch about a week before. Our waiter was awesome — he was knowledgable and very genuine about what he liked and what foods he hadn’t tried yet and what was the best on the menu. We got the mixed gyros, greek salad, and truffle fries and they were all good! They have a great selection of wine, but of course on a Saturday at the beginning of June we wanted some ice cold beer. I also forgot to mention that they have alcoholic milkshakes that I’ll have to go back and try. We’ll definitely go back!
