The service was very poor. We waited in the drive thru for our food for about 15 minutes. Was very surprised with the food though. The chicken tenders were honestly great. I’ll give them that.

Love that Tuesday special. I go in and order for the office and it comes out hot fresh and fast. The only thing was they need to fix the speaker because the guy kept confusing half dozen with half gallon. Overall it’s not a bad place. A bit pricey when not a special.

I give my visit five stars. I have come here twice for the naked chicken tenders. I am going into ketosis and need a no carb meal. I have to wait a little bit but they make it so fresh that I can’t pick it up with my fingers. «Maurice» upfront was really kickin it. Greeted with a smile, thank me for my service, offered sauces for the tenders. And was knowledgeable about the menu. maybe all the one star reviews caused the manager to act!!! and hire employees who are fast on their feet and care about the customers. PS this is my first review I wish I had a picture of the tenders they were delicious

Horrible and frustrating when you have to repeat yourself 4 times to let the server know what you need.

Not sure what happened here but the past few times I’ve ordered through the drive-thru took forever to take my order and then took forever again to get my food. It was empty inside the restaurant so there shouldn’t be an excuse for the slow food service.

Absolutely the slowest service I have ever encountered. Drive through took 30 min plus. Do not go here if you’re hungry or looking for good service.

I get that Popeyes fancies itself as slow food but he reality is its really just slow service. All the food needed to fill my order is sitting in front of me but somehow it still takes 15 min to get my order, it’s maddening watching an unmanaged staff fumble to fill orders. I normally like the product but seem to have the same experience with Popeyes everywhere, ultra slow, no sense of urgency service.

I never thought that I could starve at a restaurant. With a fully staffed kitchen out order took 45 minutes. Nothing complicated or special or large. The manager simply shrugged her shoulders when I complained.

Its been my favorite place to get fried chicken, the only question is some there are same different quality of flavors among their branches. This is the best one i felt. The chicken fried fit in perfect, not too well done. Reason why i can give 4 stars, eventually tuesday deal 99 cent is be the best deals among fast food chain for fried chicken in Houston. People here, very nice, i always got my order on timely manner.

My mouth is having a party! Eating at popeye’s always transports me back to Canal St in New Orleans. The Mason Rd. Popeyes is very good. Sometimes the spices are not perfect but other times get fresh, hot, off the rack and spiced up = yum! The last time to our massive disappointment the gave us plain not spicy chicken. Que lastima, we called and they said next visit was on them. The fulfilled their promise and all is right in the world again. Thanks Eva, great mgt. skills and customer service.

Best creole-style red beans and rice. Pretty sad that the only place I feel that way about in Houston is a fast-food restaurant. But honestly, Popeye’s is more than a fast food chain for me. It is picnics in Audobon Park under oak trees, lunch during school-shopping with my mom at Esplanade mall, and quick weekend breakfasts when dad didn’t feel like cooking. Of course, this was when it was just a little local chain in the New Orleans area and before Copeland sold it out. But I still love their buttermilk biscuits(very addictive) and red beans and rice. It’s as close to being at «home» as I get these days.

You have to love the Tuesday deal. When it is all said and done, it is still just really bad for you fast food!
