Worst service ever! We sat down at our table and waited 15 minutes for our waiter to come. After we order our drinks, we were left there for another 15 minutes until we have to make big hand wave to get our waiter to come and our drinks are still not ready. After ordering our meal, only one entre came and the waiter insisted that we didn’t order any others. We have four in our party, is it possible that we only order one entrée?! The bread came after we finish the soup, the appetizer came together with the main course. The whole night was just a lot of waiting and it is only a Wednesday night! I couldn’t see how they can handle busy weekends. Never coming here again, ever!

We do not frequent RL however, wanted to try the Lobster Fest and since we haven’t been in a while, we were pleasantly surprised. We had lots of lobster! Lobster and shrimp cocktail, lobster bake, lobster and steak with lobster mac and cheese. Nom, nom. I have heard they increased the size of the shrimp. Yes, this is true. Nice and fresh too. I was happy and will return again when I am in the mood for seafood. I was in a lobster coma when we left.

Awesome food as always but when we recently visited family in Tennessee we went to one there. I remember a time where all Red Lobsters had a romantic atmosphere. Wish they could start doing this in Katy again, dim lighting.

So my brother in law and I met up here he is a cop and my sis couldn’t get off her nursing shift after all. So I ordered a fairly cheap bottle of Chardonnay and an appetizer he was«on call» so we ordered at everything at the same time and told our server we needed fast service because he’s on call. Well we got waters and our appetizer and biscuits and salads and then boom has was called out so when my server arrived I told him I will take all his food to go for him and asked where was the bottle of Chardonnay. The server left and came back to tell me he couldn’t serve me the bottle because it was just me but could serve me glass by glass at per glass price. What the hell this policy is unreal I can’t believe I would have to pay glass by glass price getting more ounces than a bottle but I couldn’t get just the bottle I wanted. This place is a joke not only that was an issue but also my server brought the food out as if my brother in law was there. I politely told him I need all of it to go he was a real goober I kind of felt sorry for him but then I would expect Red Lobster to train proper employees and managers so this whole experience was horrible and I definitely will not return and a lot if other people will not waste their time or money here either!

This will probably be my last time here. We decide to come here for a late dinner and after we were seated the waiter came and took our drink order then returned for our main course order. We both ordered a salad and a main course each. Well it took such a long time to get our salads I wondered what happened. I don’t know what waiters do in between serving you but ours was not very visible. Eventually they came and also our main course. The food was OK but not like in the past. In my opinion I think the quality of service and food has gone down. There are much better options in Katy for seafood.

I went on a Sunday afternoon for my sister’s birthday. We ordered the Lobster Crab and Seafood stuffed mushrooms. They were pretty good, but the mushrooms were smaller than expected. Then, I had another dish. I forget the name of it, but it included several lobster tails that were cracked for you, which was awesome and potatoes on the side. The seasoning was delicious. I would definitely go back just for this dish.

This was my first and last trip to Red Lobster. The appetizer biscuits are delicious, but the entré was not up to what the ads or menus promise by far. My tropical-something-plate looked really sad compared to the pictures, and it tasted as dry as it looked. Crab legs were good, green beans to; the lobster and scampi where… meh. No thanks. Friendly and helpful service, though.

Red Lobster, I am disappointed. Because my family loves seafood, it was one of our favorite chain restaurants. However, this trip left us immensely unsatisfied. Service was reaaally slow at the beginning, which was surprising considering that the restaurant was half-empty, but it picked up after ordering. My parents ordered a blended margarita and a mango mai tai and said that they were way too sweet from the syrup, starting the night off already apprehensive. We began with the Seaside Sampler, which was pretty much the only great part of the meal. The coconut shrimp were battered nicely and had a nice, sweet flavor and the mushrooms, while small, tasted pretty good. It all went downhill from there. Every single entrée that we ordered seemed to be centered around salt. The seafood portions were average, but all I could taste with each bite was a mouthful of salt. Even though the cheese biscuits were great, light and fluffy, the overall meal here is definitely not worth the high price.

The food is old reliable, but the cost is way too high. Bad service and very expensive good makes for a bad experience all is every time. The kids want to come here often, but they don’t know better. We need to find a new fried shrimp spot.

I give their service and complimentary cheddar biscuits 5 stars but everything else I rate at a 3. The food needs some improvement. I ordered the lunch combo option to pick two items which I chose the grilled shrimp skewers and scallops. The scallops were tiny and had an unusual flavor. The shrimp wasn’t too bad. The side items were small servings compared to other restaurants. It could have very well just been that day and maybe they have had better days.

Food was good and the management really got involved with seating and ordering. Enjoyed our waiters who took their time and got the order right.

Barbara was our waitress. She was amazing. We were a party of 4 and even though Barbara had quite a few tables we we never at a shortage of beverages or all you can eat shrimp entrees. When we are in the area we will be sure to eat there again.

After getting stuck in a monstrous traffic jam, we decided to pull off I-10 and have dinner at Red Lobster and let the traffic clear. Admittedly, it’s been years since we’ve eaten at one(and I know Darden Restaurants is having major problems with this chain), but this was a major disappointment for us. The meal started out great, with cheese biscuits that were simply sensational. Our salads were also very, very good. However, when the entrees came, nothing was really very good. Our granddaughter had ordered a crabmeat linguini(decent); my wife ordered two appetizers – fried green beans(greasy) and shrimp en brochette(overcooked and dried out); and I had fish & chips. The fish appeared to be tilapia, not cod or halibut, which I would have expected, and was not cuttable without a knife; the fries were among the worst I’ve eaten; and the tartar sauce was very blah. Service was decent, however, even though our server neglected to make sure I got my credit card back(I’ll have to take as much responsibility for this as he should). Even if this were in the neighborhood, we wouldn’t be returning(other than to retrieve my credit card).

I’m surprised by the low rating Red Lobster has. I mean duh it’s not high, end gourmet fare, but it’s still pretty tasty. I’ve gotten take out from here quite a few times and it’s always been a positive experience. The employees have always been polite and friendly, I’ve never had to wait long after calling my order ahead, and the food is good. I doubt the low rating will dissuade anyone from going, but it’s not a very fair assessment in my opinion. I like this location just fine.

Food was okay, wait staff is aweful, first they didn’t give me any silverware, and when i asked for silverware, they forgot the table napkins. Then she forgot my soup, the buss boy was kind enough to bring me my soup since she is too busy to notice my raised hands. She noticed my empty glass 3 times before she even thought of refilling my glass. At this point I gave up getting her attention. Im still waiting for my dessert and I’ll bet she will forget that too. Suffice to say im not going back. What a terrible experience!

Disappointing with a side order of disgusting. Took my family there this evening(pretty early… the moms dig the place) and I’m hoping I don’t regret it again in a few hours. Cleaning is clearly not a priority at this location. We asked for a large booth and were told we couldn’t have one because there were no servers for that section. No problem, let’s put the elderly clients in the hard wooden chairs… I’d hate for the server to have to serve a table they walk by in order to serve us. Turf wars must be serious business at this location. Sat at the table and immediately noticed that it was sticky… not by sight, but by touch. First trip to the restroom to wash my hands coming up and I just got seated! Upon closer inspection we notice the table(large round table with leaf extensions) has enough food caught in the grooves of the extensions to count as an appetizer. We asked the hostess if she could clean the table and she offered to move us. Ummm. how bout we just clean this one. She tried, bless her heart she really tried, but she couldn’t get the leaf to release, so we succumbed and moved to a table with a booth on one side and chairs on the other(the ladies are now comfortable… I’m stuck on the chair… oh well). Now you would think that somebody would be following soon after to wrestle that table until it gives up and gets clean. Nope… sadly another party was seated there 20 minutes later and they were not as observant as we were. I felt kinda bad not saying anything to them, but our food hadn’t arrived yet and I wasn’t about to risk ticking off the staff any further than I already had pre-meal. At this point it’s every guest for themselves on this culinary titanic. 3 trips to the restroom(I won’t even get into the condition of it… it deserves it’s own review) later(sticky menus are no fun) our main course arrives. After a couple requests for extras, like a steak knife to cut my steak, and 10 minutes or so we’re digging in to our meal. Food was adequate, and our server was pleasant(a little scattered, but nice enough)…overall I was left a little disappointed. I wasn’t expecting a fine dining experience, but I did expect a clean restaurant. Sorry… on this visit you failed to impress.

Sucker for the biscuits, I gave it my best shot, after 4 – 6 visits here can’t come back, will not contribute to garbage gut. Did not want the blender at my table, and the wait staff would not seat us at another table. Ran in to wash my hands and the manager or the chef who oversaw the back of the house did not wash her hands, I asked her why and was given no response. In the entire planet this location, the restroom and the food quality are rated a zero minus. Marvin Zindler come back from the dead and get this place for all their violations!

Let me start off by saying I have never been a fan of Red Lobster. The only reason I go is because my Grandmother loves the food. For an appetizer we had the lobster artichoke dip and chips. It was Ok but nothing special. They also bring out complementary cheddar cheese biscuits, they were great. For my entrée I had the fish and chips. Not a great dish. You only get one piece of fish and a few fries. The fish tasted Ok but wasn’t crispy, the batter was pretty soggy. It also comes with a fresh garden salad. It was served in a chilled bowl with blue cheese dressing, very good. I was able to try a few of the other entrees as well. The grilled salmon was fantastic. It looked almost blackened, I don’t know what seasoning they use but it was great My daughter had the lobster bisque. I tasted it and it reminded me of cheddar broccoli soup. Not impressed. She said it only had one tiny piece of lobster in it. She also had the shrimp caesar salad, it was Ok but had an excessive amount of dressing. I tried the margarita here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised as it was very good. Don’t get the ice tea as it is weak. Service was great. Our waitress Lydia was fantastic, If you go ask to be seated in her section.
