If you’re in Katy and in need of brunch on a Saturday or Sunday between 9:00am — 12:00noon, stop by for a $ 10.95 all you can eat spread. First, walk up to the register to order your buffet and pay. Then, grab a booth or table. Next walk up to the buffet, grab your utensils and plate and dig in! Fresh and chewy tortillas are located in round, covered containers(tortilleras) and are nice and warm to nestle your homemade breakfast taco. Load it up with their refried beans, 3 different kinds of egg, salsa, and crispy bacon. Feeling sweet? They have pancakes and waffles too. Want something to stick to your ribs? Fresh biscuits and gravy. Sliced potatoes too. Need something light? They have fresh fruit salad. Drinks are included in the buffet and the soda fountain and orange juice is available. This buffet has a solid selection, but maybe if they had some special waffle fixings like whipped cream or fruit compote, maybe that would catch my eye. Or maybe some chorizo on the buffet to go with my breakfast taco. And some champagne to go with that OJ would be divine. Otherwise, this is a solid brunch spot in Katy. Definitely family friendly.

Skeeter’s is a Tex-Mex grill with delicious food. My first trip to a Skeeters was over 20 years ago at the location on Woodway in Houston, so we have been to a few locations over the years. We have seen consistent quality between all of the locations that we visited. Just recently, we hit the Katy location. We had the special chicken enchilada with green sauce and a kid’s quesadilla. The enchilada had big chunks of chicken breast that blended well with the green tomatillo sauce. I have been to the Katy Skeeters for the weekend brunch buffet… great spread and includes an omelette station, tortillas, beans, eggs with chorizo, and the usual breakfast items. Skeeters also offers burgers and salads. Overall, good variety on the menu at good prices. Don’t expect much for service at Skeeter’s, drinks/silverware are self-serve and you will need to pickup your order when your number is called. The tables are topped with brown paper and include crayons to practice your artwork. Skeeter’s is a great place to just relax and enjoy some tasty food.

I had breakfast here on Saturday. The service was quick and the food was very well prepared. I loved the buffet and being able to get made to order omelette’s. The food is good tasting and well prepared for a buffet. I enjoyed sitting on the patio and enjoying my coffee after eating with an old high school friend. After eating we sat out there drinking our coffee and visiting for another 30 minutes, getting refills, it was very pleasant and enjoyable.

A fun little spot in Katy, the burgers were very well done and the casual experience was easy to bring the kids too. This place isnt’ trynig to be something that it’s not, the food is consistent and the service is quick and pleasent. I like that they seem to support local teams and other local businesses

I can’t say enough good things about the hamburgers at this place. They are hand’s down the best in my book & my husband’s. If you want a really, really great burger handmade and grilled over an open flame, this is the best. Some of the other menu items are less-than-fabulous. The Tex Mex plates aren’t worth it, and the tacos are overpriced. The big giant«salads» covered in fried chicken fingers and cheese are delicious if you like that kind of thing. :) My kids love it too and always want to sit at the«Texas table.»

We have driven by this place many times saying, «We need to try that place some day.» Well, we finally made it in for breakfast. The décor is that of any Texas area BBQ place; rustic country with a slightly modern appeal. So, for breakfast you have a short list of menu items or you can eat from the buffet. SO, since my wife has an aversion to buffets, we ordered from the menu. I gut the 3-egg omlete and she that typical Americano breakfast of 2-eggs, 2-pieces of bacon and toast. So, my omlete was pretty awesome. I would definitely go back to get that. I had no complains with my food. My wife wonderfully, lovely, picky wife on the other hand enjoy her food until she got to the bacon. This is a woman that likes her bacon crispy. BUT! not to the point you could break a tooth eating it. I bet if I threw it at a window it would break. All joking aside we were happy with our visit and plan to go back for breakfast. Maybe we will get around to going there for lunch or dinner some day. :) Check-in tip: 6÷2÷2012 ~ Breakfast before our trip to College Station… and TWS.

Sunday brunch is very good but expensive for two adults and two toddlers($ 40). Lunch and dinner is also quite good.

I don’t always eat lunch in Katy TX, but this place was a pleasant surprise to me. Their grilled chicken salad was very good though a wee bit too much cheese on there. My other choices before were either fast food or a certain BBQ place with a certain poster of a certain guy being lynched. It’s good to find a nice place lol.

Skeeters had me at $ 2 margaritas during happy hour! It smells delicious here, and the food is very yummy. In the 2 years I’ve been going here, I’ve tried their salads, burgers, and the catfish platter. Everything I’ve eaten here has been great. It’s not the most inexpensive option, but did I mention the margaritas?

We have come here occasionally over the last ten years. It is dependable; however, we usually go for the unique flavor of mesquite and not for the value. I find myself wondering about the total bill for what we received. The buffets on the weekends are plentiful, but we are not usually hungry enough to make it worth it. Overall, the food has not let us down, but there are similar places in the neighborhood at a better value.

I love the burgers and crispy chicken salad. Their food really is good, and quick to come out. Not to mention the fact you can make your own Cherry Coke! The only reason they did not get 5 stars is I think the prices are about a dollar too high. It plays a mind game when you see a $ 7 burger instead of $ 6 or $ 5. I think that would be a much better fit for what you get. I still love their food though!

Went here for breakfast recently and I guess you get what you pay for… a little over twenty bucks for two people. The line was not too bad but it was only becuase we beat the church crowd. Get there before or at 930am. They had it as buffet style: pancakes, french toast, tortillas, eggs, migas, or eggs with chorizo, bisquits, grits, sausage, bacon, fruit and a few other sides. Fresh OJ and coffee. The food hit the spot but the flavor of all was just A-ok. Nothing too impressive.
